Jenna summoned Thor on turn 1 and turn 4 (Piers's Breath gets priority on turn 4 to allow Thor summoning) and Piers summoned Nereid whenever he didn't have any Jupiter Djinn to use. After turn 4, a Cybele (that Venus Res is too high >_>), Nereid and some Jupiter Djinn + summon was sufficient to finish off the Serpent. Aside from Breath, the few other moments of healing were achieved through Spirit Rings. Jenna died at the end, but eh, that's fine. She had an EXP lead against Piers anyway.--- Got Ulysses, completed Ankohl Ruins and Shrine of Sea God, unlocked the Sea of Time Islet Cave for Meld, got Haze, and forged a Dracomace and more Aerial Gloves for Piers. Piers died this time, which should help fix the uneven EXP distribution left by Serpent.--- Trident was forged immediately, and I went on to the Sea of Time to face Poseidon, the boss which is the sole specific reason for me to draft Ulysses. Anyhow, Jenna summoned Ulysses three times and then spammed Planet Diver. Piers used the Trident on turn 1, Impact on turns 2-3, Wish Well on turn 4, and Trident on turns 5-7 (since Savants don't have any EPA Psynergy, the Trident's 1.2x EPA was the best option for Piers).And yes, I have tried other approaches like getting Piers to summon Ulysses once or twice so that Jenna gets more Planet Divers, but no, I couldn't go below 7 turns. --- Kraden's mad scene unlocked~ I got Eclipse and a bunch of other equipment too. After the big cutscenes with Lunpa and Hydros, I went to get Rime and then left Lemuria. Headed to Treasure Isle and finished whatever I could without Lift. I sold most of the goodies though, but I made sure Felix and Sheba were equipped with four items for Trial Road. In other words, you can't fight Moapa without a fully healed party. Which is a problem because undrafted units are supposed to be dead. How do you guys suggest we deal with this? My opinion is that undrafted units should be made to contribute as little as possible to the battle by defending every single turn, and restricting drafted units from specifically supporting undrafted units through single-target Psynergy/Djinn/items. Besides, all players will have a Lv 5 and a Lv 14-18 undrafted unit at the time, so the competition would still be fair imo even if the undrafted units' existences can be exploited. And you can't really exploit their existences much when they're locked to Defend only. EDIT: also, the fact that it would reward strategies that "incidentally" involve keeping your undrafted characters alive is a thing but I don't think that we're unscrupulous enough to do so on my part I'm at the very least too lazy to do that But there's not much benefit in keeping a defending bot alive. If an enemy attacks an undrafted unit, none of the players would have to heal them. also if we're not counting Agatio+Karst for turncounts why count Moapa? is it cause you're allowed to lose to A+K?The main reason is that you're allowed to lose, yes. But another reason is that the structure of the battle makes it very inconvenient for drafts. First Felix+Piers and then Jenna comes in later, and then Sheba. It really doesn't work too well in a draft setting. You can't lose to Moapa though, and as long as the undrafted units don't do anything but Defend, it would be very unlikely for their presence to have an impact on turncounts.
