Quick Level Up Codebreaker codes Help

Recommended Posts

I don't know about you guys but if there is a method of making a game a bit easier, I take it. Since this game is hard, I'm trying to find a code(s) that always gives the units 99 EXP but the thing is I'm having trouble finding codes for Codebreaker (I'm using VBA to play the game). I came across 2 websites that gave me codes but none of them worked.

One was a FAQ, which no matter how many times I've read it, I just don't understand any of it. The other site I checked out had separate codes for each character & it had a code for quick level ups. For Roy, Lance, & Wolt it worked fine but the code for Deke, Chad, & Lugh didn't work also Alan's code worked for Elen. Not to mention the site didn't have listings for all of the characters.

Someone please I beg of you give me codes for quick level ups for ALL of the characters please!

Hello. I have a slight solution for you, I suppose. Simply pulling up the experience modifier codes for the first 12 slots (I like this number because usually you will never field more than 12 units per chapter anyway). A few things to note if you're unaware:

  • When activated, the first 12 units on the list will by default be set to 99 exp, this means that whoever the 13th or so person to be recruited and onward will not automatically gain lvs like mad.
  • As the code only affects the characters fielded in those slots, just deselecting all your units in the prep menu and reselecting whichever 12 (or 11 because Roy) you want to power grind will spread this effect to any unit. They'll keep their 99 exp even after falling out of slots 1~12.
  • You will keep leveling past 20 when applicable. When your level gets too high it will visually drop 20 lvs by the next chapter, your stats won't change but you still need to be visually above lv 10 to promote a unit (except Roy because his is a fixed event, of course).

So here is the "code" itself:

Units 1 thru 12 @ 99 EXP

3202AB81 0063
3202ABC9 0063
3202AC11 0063
3202AC59 0063
3202ACA1 0063
3202ACE9 0063
3202AD31 0063
3202AD79 0063
3202ADC1 0063
3202AE09 0063
3202AE51 0063
3202AE99 0063

(if you play on cart and need the enable code; doesn't apply to emulators)

Well I suppose Max Gold wouldn't hurt (seeing as everyone usually gets a ton of gold anyway in normal play). Otherwise I'd refer to this topic for FE6 codes over on GameFAQs. http://www.gamefaqs.com/gba/563015-fire-emblem-fuuin-no-tsurugi/faqs/35138

As a note, for the Merchant Codes, the placeholder string of ##XX uses the "##" for the quantity. I'd suggest 32 which yields 50 in hex and should provide any item that number of uses without causing a mess with the game code (non-weapons just sell for a crapton of money then). And "XX" is the item type digit which are all listed below on that page. Before you use it, it would be wise to empty Merlinus' storage just in case (put important stuff in your units' inventories to hold). Save after confirming the items have showed up in storage then reset and resume play without that code. With it you can get stuff you otherwise can't get until the Trial Maps or never at all (like Fenrir!).

I'd suggest not putting odd items like the "Gold" or the Bridge Key in your inventory as they are pointless and be wary of graphic glitches when using different stones with Fa. Also! May be wise not use too many all at once, I'd suggest just modding the first 15 slots, confirming, move them onto your units and then changing the "XX" to other items you might want. I'm not sure if the Ballistas will work properly, either.

Hey I know it's been a long time but I was just wondering whether you had any idea how to avoid glitch that makes a character go beyond 20. I'm tired of having to turn off and on the cheat to avoid it.
