MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 2 part 2 Spoiler Asher takes the heal stave by Garath and heals him after that. That's how I place my units. Renair and Kolbane are on the front line. Two mercenaries attack and hit Renair, who hit them too. The third one can't attack yet.Turn 3: First of all Ilanice resuces Chester. Garath kills this mercenary with a critical hit of 2%. His criticial animation surprised me a little bit... Amelia weakens the mercenary. The I place Renair one space left so Kolbane takes her spot and finshes him off. Asher gives her the steel sword (I got from a village in the previous chapter) and heals her. His level up sucks. He really reminds me on Micaiah: Slow and fragile. He will be doubled by mercenaries. Enemy phase. Oh, he will piss off! And there he goes... I wouldn't be surprised, if he only fooled us.Turn 3: As in the previous chapter: Amelia always attacks first, because she has the worst hitrate of my units. If she misses I can still react. Ilanice drops Chester. Renair can talk to him in next turn unless he'll move away from my units. First ambush spawn: A mercenary and a brigand. Maybe you see the little cave, where the brigand is placed. Yeah, this was expectable! She dodges! Oh God! This douche has a hand axe. Forgot to check his weapon! I'm an idiot. If both brigands hit her, she would die! First lucky situation for me in this LP! NPC phase: Yeah, this guy intervenes. He kills the bandit with the steel axe, but he also gets hit with a probably very low hitrate. No problem, because Asher is not far away.Turn 4: Indeed Renair can talk to him. Chester's stats are decent. His speed can be very helpful to double a few enemies (mainly brigands). If he gets strength and speed early on, he will be more useful than only for stealing and opening of chests. Another kill for Kolbane. Actually I give him lots of kills, but he isn't all that great tbh. He's a good wall, but he's kinda slow. I really wished, he could double the brigands at least. Another problem is his low luck. All the mercenaries have a critchance against him. Chester's first kill. He will be healed after that. I place Garath and Ilanice on these forts before reinforcements will surprise me from there. The second wave of ambush reinforcements! Actually it was a good idea that I didn't visit the two houses next to this village. My thief is still a little bit weak.Turn 5: I think I don't need Garath for the next turns so he visits the village in the north-eastern area: He gets three chests keys. I'm pretty sure the next chapter will be an indoor map with treasure chests. It would make sense. If the boss is defeated, they will enter the stronghold of the Darkwrights. Another indicator is the thief, who joined in this chapter. Amelia is only here to do chip damage... Though Ilanice has done absolute nothing yet except for working as courier. God, damn it! He's a wall, but that's it! Where the hell is the speed? It's the best level up so far in this chapter. That's how I end turn 5. In enemy phase the mercenary attacks Kolbane. Both hit. (forgot to take a screenshot) Also another wave appears from same spot as the previous wave.Turn 6: This bandit will be decoyed by Chester. He's in the thicket so he will most likely dodge. Yeah, Ilanice can do something else than only escorting people and doing home visits. Renair is in the attack range of the mercenary of the first little group of reinforcements. Of course he dodges.Turn 7: Chester gets his second kill and his first level up. Bleh... No, the level ups in this chapter are really not good! At least Kolbene's skill is so good that he mostly hits with his steel sword. Ilanice has equipped the iron sword to decoy the brigand. eclipse
The rule of DoF: SOMEONE will turn out godly. Unfortunately, it looks like your special someone hasn't been recruited yet. Blaze The Great
These dudes again. The second from right wasn't shown yet.Someone told me that the guy with the face helmet is only a generic bandit, who appears in some maps. That's some nice work put into the generic, in that case. Anyways, keep up the good work.
MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 2 part 3 Spoiler Turn 8: There aren't that many enemies left on the map. Only a few reinforcements, a couple of archers and a brigand close to the boss. Garath and Kolbane take this brigand on the right... ... while Amelia and Ilanice take this one on the left. I place Chester in the thicket to decoy an archer and a brigand. He can survive both hits (if they can hit). Both miss him.Turn 9: Damn thicket! I want to kill this brigand with Amelia and the archer with Chester and Ilanice. Though I will try my luck with Amelie. If she misses, Chester can kill him. Then the archer will stay alive in this turn - no big deal! Though it works! And she gets another level up. Not, too bad. She is a little bit stronger and tankier now. Though I think her speed is so low that she will be doubled by any mercenaries. Actually I took an unnecessary high risk here: 88% are actually not too great. If she misses, she'll die probably. No one can rescue her and I'm pretty sure even an iron bow archer will oneshot her. Unnecessary gambling at this early point in this game is stupid. I shouldn't test my luck all that much... Only three enemies are left. Yeah, that's a level up how I like to see! Why not earlier? Is this my GODTIER unit? Of course she misses, because the enemy has a weapon triangle advantage and is placed in the thicket. Though she gets a level up for that. Another good one, but unfortunately still no speed... A pegasus knight, who cannot double a brigand is no good pegasus knight for me.Turn 10: Amelia is the queen of doing chip damage (Garath is the king). I really wished her hitrates would be higher. Asher heals Ilanice and Kolbane decoys the last enemy besides the boss on this map:Turn 11: And only the boss is left and the music changes to this fucking catchy winning theme. Have heard a different remix yesterday. Though I still don't know of what game this theme comes from. Boss time: I was positive shocked when I read this. Seriously I didn't expect to see supports in this hack. I absolute love these! So I can get more information about the personalities and maybe the backstory of some characters. Hopefully I can build some supports in my LP. Unfortunately I don't know about the support boosts, but I guess they're the same like in the GBA games. This kind of throne (gate) heals the boss. It has the same terrain boosts as in FE7 and 8: +1 in defense and +20% avoid He swaps to the steel axe, but still misses.Turn 12: Now he must die: Goodbye! The experience of the bosskill isn't enough to get a level up for Chester. Oh really? You have noticed it fast... I get the hurbat. Either he was spying the Darkwrights or he is spying us atm. Somehow I cannot trust this guy... He mentioned in his recruitment that he "joined" the Darkwrights to save his life. So he can give her lots of information about their hideout. I hope the same! Though Chester's story seems to be more credible for me than Varkade's. Why did he disappear for a while in this chapter suddenly? Chapter 2 ends. The upcoming chapter should be an indoor map with treasure chests. I look forward to it, because I love narrow maps. @ Eclipse Maybe in my next playthrough. To be serious most of my units have speed issues. No one can double all the enemies yet. I'm waiting for the myrmidon with the obligatory killing edge. @ Blaze Thanks for the compliment! All the portraits of the Darkwrights look awesome: the generic brigand with the badass face helmet the sunburnt guy with the closed eyes the boss with the tattoo and the red haired guy with all the scars in his face Edited March 23, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin

MisterIceTeaPeach
Alright, I have completed chapter 3. It was a very LONG chapter. Not only a long map, but it also had a very intensive (and surprising) plot. I'm out soon for the rest of the day so I won't upload any episodes until tomorrow. Therefore I'm going to try uploading three parts. While there are supports in this hack are SORT OF completed, many of them are glitchy and will show you portraits of characters you haven't seen yet and un-fitting dialogue. Of course, they still give bonuses, and there are a few good "triangles" of supports you can get set up, like Garath/Renair/Kolbane and Crowe/Chester/Gabriel, although you don't know who some of those are yet... Yeah, I have noticed it in chapter 3 in the support between Ilanice and Amelia. Edited April 6, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach

MisterIceTeaPeach
Ok, after almost six hours it's finally done! All images are reuploaded! How did this happen? I moved all my images to a new created folder. As yet I created for each chapter one folder for the images. Yesterday I decided to create a "mainfolder" with the title Dream of Five, whereto I moved the folders of each chapter. I had no fucking idea that photobucket can't identify the images. The links were / are all broken now! Same goes for all the images of the Midnight Sun LP. This entire LP is completly ruined! I won't reupload them, because I really have no time for this! that awkward moment when all images appear to be moved/deleted for me. It's even more awkward, if you must reupload them all. All images are restored now. Edited April 6, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
eclipse
Thanks for restoring things~! Asher's longevity is directly tied to his Speed. The more of this he gets, the longer her stays viable. If he hits double digits before level 15 or so, he's going to be godly. I have some pretty hilarious pictures of various characters you have trolling me. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 3 part 1 Spoiler First a couple of things: A small supplement to chapter 2: I missed out two houses. There was nothing special in these. In one house you get a few information about the Darkwrights and in the other one you get the hint that Ilanice must visit the village in the southern area. A now to chapter 3. Something strange happened to me. I noticed a (possible) bug in the map story. After this the hack crashed and restarted automatically. However then I made a second file and suddenly I had no bug anymore. The map story continued normally as if nothing happened. Then I changed back to my first file and the bug still happened. The only way to avoid was to skip the map story at this point. I have no idea, why this happened. Very strange... In all of the excitement I forgot to take the screenshots of the map story so this part starts at this point: Renair's journal: Keep these lines in mind! An archer named Crowe is most likely recruitable in the upcoming chapter. Probably only Chester can talk to him. Only idealists have a long life... Douchebag-alert! Eternal sibling love. How cute... The name Farrell was mentioned in the previous chapter already when Ilanice visited the village, where she meet her former teacher. I believe Farrell is the chief of the Darkwrights. Here is Crowe. He seems to be a very honest mercenary. So honest that he even signalizes his chief he will leave the Darkwrights. Utterly fearless... However his chief is so blind that he doesn't believe him one single word out of his mouth. Here is the preparation menu for the first time: You can bring all your seven units to this map, which I will do of course. The preparation menu is exact the same as in FE7 so I won't go any further with it. Unfortunately I still don't have a supply yet, where I can send all my unnecassary weapons and items. Also I can't buy and sell. This hack also features the "fortune" from FE7, where you can see your rank and status. Let's check it out: It doesn't look too bad, does it? Though the "combat" could be a little bit better. As I assumed chapter 3 is an indoor map. Brigands, mercenaries and archers still level 1 with standard weapons. The first appearance of a mage. It's the only one on this map. 27 HP for level 1 makes me laugh! It's even hard to get that much HP up to their promotion. Say hello to the long bow series! Long bows don't seem to be generic anymore. Probably like in FE10 they exist is iron, steel and silver form (+ great bow). The iron long bow can't only attack from 3 range, but it is also more powerful than the iron brother. Though the hitrate takes a massive nerf, which balances out the mentioned advantages a little bit. It's also pretty heavy. The enemy archers have AS penalty. Take MUCH care of using Ilanice in this chapter! Since the paths are extremly narrow the archers can attack from so many spots. But don't worry: You also have someone with a longbow: Garath Don't be afraid to use him in this chapter! Here's Crowe. Chester will recruit him. This chapter features two bosses:Crispin (also mentioned in the previous chapter) is an archer with an iron long bow, who will probably move since he is an archer and placed in a free area. Not too tough, but his 3 attack range is annoying. The true boss is Rankin, a mercenary. His stats aren't too frightening, but he has a very powerful sword, a flamberge (probably magic sword) with 1-2 range. No one except for Gareth can take two hits of it. There are three chests to get. He gives me a door key. How nice... Chapter 3 is a seize mission. Though don't think it's a short and simple one! Since the paths are extremly small you are a welcome objective of all the archers. So only put units with decent HP and defense (Garath, Kolbane, Renair with the gold edge) on the front line.Turn 1: Ilanice is unusable in the first turn because of the attack range of the long bow archer. R.I.P. mage. In the first turn I try to rush as good as I can. So I will use Gareth a lot in the very first turns to kill all the archers. I don't want to stuck in the entrance area, because I don't know when and where reinforcements will appear. Chester still needs a little bit practice in dodging. Garath can't dodge for shit anyway. Therefore Renair can do it without any problems... I can say so much already: Renair will be ON FIRE in this chapter!(no I don't mean she will be burnt by the flamberge)F**k long bow!Turn 2: Thankfully this archer has so much AS penalty by equipping the iron the long bow that Garath can double and 1RKO him. One problem less! Another problem less. One more range weapon less! I'm going to kill all the enemies with 2 range weapons first. Meh! (at least his first luck stat) This won't be her last kill for sure! Not bad! This won't be her (last) good level up in this chapter! @Eclipse I can say already my units had much better level ups in this chapter than in the previous one. Especially one certain unit is on the best way to become godly ;) @The Moniker Thanks! This explains a lot (why the enemies have so high stats for their "low" level). TheMoniker
Okay, I'm going to explain why the enemies are still level 1: THEY'LL ALWAYS BE LEVEL 1. The hackmaker made ALL the enemies in this hack level 1-3, but they will NOT have equivalent stats for those levels. The purpose for this is to make it so that the hack can throw ridiculous amounts of enemies at you without horribly breaking the level curve. Because of this, you'll find XP slows to a trickle as time goes by. Also, I was able to use every single character in this hack(as in, I gave them ALL training) because of this. So yeah. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 3 part 2 Spoiler Turn 3 Most of the enemy archers are dead so I can take a little breather. The last archer will be decoyed by Garath. Renair and Kolbane will decoy a mercenary: Enemy phase.Turn 4 It becomes easier and easier for my units to kill all the enemies. Unlike in the previous three chapters most of them can be taken out by only two hits. The Moniker gave me the important information that all enemies except for the bosses won't raise in their level, only in their stats. That means so much higher level of your units are, the less experience they will gain. Tbh I really despise this idea...I have compared the stats of the enemies in the prolog and in chapter 3: Brigand in the prolog. Brigand from chapter 3. You see that the enemies in this level have slightly better stats (speed and resistance). You can heal more and you're faster! Good!Turn 5 Yeah, another support... ... but this one is a little bit glitchy. (BTW amazing portraits) As long the support is displayed and the supporting units get the boosts, I really have no problem with that! Amelia is rescued. I will send all my units to the western side.Turn 6 Hey look, reinforcements! They appear from this entrance and from the entrance in the south west, where all my units are placed. Unlike in the two previous chapters they'll appear before the player phase. My units do an excellent job in dodging.Turn 7 Time to kill them: In enemy phase Chester decoys this brigand. He shall reach the chest in the north west very soon.Turn 7 More reinforcements! This time they appear of the stairs. Brigands, mercenaries and archers. One mercenery appears next to the chest, Chester will open in this turn. Luckily no thief is appeared yet. Chester1 might (!!!) and it requires a S-rank Well maybe it's effective against something... Kolbane kills the damaged brigand. The great advantage of a 3 range weapon. The good thing of Amelia: The enemy archers cannot 2RKO her, but therefore she can!Turn 8 God, damn it! Renair will be used as a wall against all the reinforcements for the next turns. Crowe is in action, but for the wrong side.Turn 9 Now I reach the point, where I come in the attack range of Crowe and Crispin. If you remember he has an iron longbow (= 3 range attack). Crowe's attack range is covered by Crispin's so I cannot place my thief in their attack range, because he won't survive two hits. (Idk, if Crowe will attack Chester). So I will place Garath with the great bow in the attack range of both. Crowe will survive it, because Garath cannot double him. Furthermore Garath can counterattack against Crispin. Renair dodges and dodges... Boss time #1: Yeah, Crispin moves: This bastard is on a pillar so Garath's hitrate is abysmal. Ouch, this hurts! Godthanks Chester can reach him in the next turn.Turn 10 Amelia supports Renair to kill the reinforcements. So I must do some things in this turn. First of all Chester has talk to Crowe: Crowe has pretty decent offensive stats. He has enough con to use the steel bow without AS penalty. His luck and resistance are pretty terrible, but it doesn't matter. An archer should usually attack an enemy, who can't counterattack him... Now Chester (damaged) is in the attack range of the boss and a mecenary. He won't survive two hits so he must be rescued: Chester and Ilanice are safe now! However Crispin can attack me from the pillar again so Garath will probably miss again. Now Crowe is safe too! All tasks managed in this turn. Second attempt for Garath: 47% hits, but he needs a healing badly!Turn 11 More reinforcements appear. Amelia and Renair are busy with the reinforcements while all my other units go straight forward to the bosses and chests. Well unfortunately Garath doesn't have a portion so he must go back to trade it with someone. All my units need a refreshing in this turn. These are all reinforcements from the beginning of turn 11. Crowe's first action for my team. Unfortunately I forgot to turn on the battle animation for him. Now she has gained everything EXCEPT for speed! I'm proud of you! YES! All the stats I want to see. Chester will decoy this mercenary and Garath shall try to finish off Crispin in the enemy turn. I don't care for the experience at this moment. This long bow douche must die! Only one boss left! Garath's level up could be worse I think. Now he's angry... Edited March 23, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
eclipse
You'll understand why enemy levels are so low in the next few chapters. Also, that is a godly Asher level, and a decent Garath one (like Asher, he really likes Speed).
TheMoniker
Not ENTIRELY sure what the Ancient Bld's deal is, I think it has some use in Chapter 14 of the Musain route. MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 3 part 3 Spoiler Turn 12 Renair is waiting for more reinforcements to kill them! This kill by Garath was unnecessary... Turn 13 Renair should be almost invisible on the pillar. Almost perfect! If he only golt speed... MVP in this chapter: Renair The next turns can be explained shortly: Renair and Amelia will deal with all the reinforcements. Renair can gain lots of kills and experience in this chapter. Chester goes for the two remaining chests. Two walls block the way. They must be destroyed. There are only a few enemies in this area: Two mercenaries, a brigand and an archer. Why not? Of course it misses...Turn 14 Tbh Ilanice is the worst unit of my team: Fragile and sort of slow. And this chapter is actually not a good chapter to train her well because of the huge number of enemy archers. Amelia attacks a myrmidon. Two myrmidon reinforcements appear in this chapter. I accidently forgot to introduce the myrmidon class: They have expectable stats: High skill and speed, decent strenght and crappy defense and resistance. I hope I'll get a mymidon soon. Though if Renair gets more great level ups like in this chapter, I actually don't need one. Another sword. It's a lancereaver. A little bit too heavy for Renair, though. So I expect to fight lancusers in the upcoming chapter. Haven't faced any of them yet. Have to discard a portion, because his slots are full and I still don't have a supply. Enemy phase.Turn 15 Crowe's first kill. This mercenary with the poison sword doesn't move for some reason. Now I have a GODLY unit Thanks to Renair's good strength and defense I can save uses of the golden edge.Turn 16 Ugh... At least I haven't had a one-statter yet... From now I leave the turn count out. Renair is moving towards the boss while Chester is going after the chests. These are the only remaining enemies besides the boss. Renair will kill them. Money. I'd say she has killed more than 50% of the enemies in this chapter. She's so fast now that she can double everyone except for Rankin.Boss battle #2: The hitrate is crap, but I'm going to try it. The throne gives him +2 avoid and +20% evasion. Obviously This 1% crit chance! Thanks to his level up in resistance he can survive two hits by the flamberge. Both hit. No crit thankfully. Now the enemy phase: Rankin even misses. Therefore Garath hits him for the second time. Renair shall do the rest: If she hits in player and enemy phase, Rankin will be dead. If she gets hit in player phase, Asher will heal her and will be rescued after that by someone. He even misses. All the better! Enemy phase: Game Over Rankin! Go visiting your brother in the hell! Any questions?! Meh! Though his two previous level ups were pretty good so I can forgive him! Time to seize! A small review about this map: It's a pretty small indoor map. I love indoor maps, because these map require a very good placement of your units. Especially the beginning turns are pretty tough, because there are lots of archers who can attack you from so many spots. Since there's a long bow archer you really can't move Asher, Amelia and Ilanice in the first turn. It makes you to think, but this chapter becomes pretty easy after a few turns. I have actually one main complaint about this chapter: Where was the enemy thief? Crowe has a realistic attitude of morality unlike Varkade. No, this chapter isn't over yet! She looks for a new family now. Really?!Katria will manage the money and supplies. (=Merlinus) Now they're recruited. What's happening now? A valkyrie is teleported into this map. Her name is Sarka. While this scenes are shown, a remix of In the name of Bern is played. Now you see can her face... at least a big part of it. Is this blood? Anyway one of the most badass portraits I've ever seen! Sarka is the daughter of Farrell. Are you serious? I have a sense of foreboding... He's really going to do it Fool! Now the battle of death: You're such an idiot...Thank you to all people, who gave me the advice to train him... :/ Sry Renair, but it's all his own fault. He couldn't control himself once more... This angry face! No please Renair! Don't do the same mistake as your sergeant did! You're too young and too good to die too soon!I gave so much great levels in chapter 3. I won't lose my best unit. Please think of me one time! Now she disappears. Back to normal face. Renair's desire for revenge must be controlled. Well, that's a surprising and sad change of the plot... MisterIceTeaPeach
Chapter 3 part 5: It's a pretty short part. (couldn't add all the images to the previous part)Sad face.Wait... what?! How the hell did he survive? He was burnt to ashes!Renair is still sad, though. Now she addresses reproaches to herself.Reminds me a little bit on Faratrass from Midnight Sun, when she found out that Hellios betrayed her.Now her subordinates try to comfort her.Chester wants to talk to her in confidence. You'll see a little bit about Renair's character:She tries to be a perfectionist, to reach all her targets as good as possible. Therefore she needs all the support and the trust of her subordinates. This explains her authoritarian character. However if something went badly she bears the blame all alone. She questioned her acts and almost tended to give up.Her subordinates could count on her at any time so they tried to build her up, which succeeded. The conversation between Chester and Renair was quite touching.Reminds me pretty much on the conversation between Shiori and Faratrass, although Fa was a complete different character type than Renair. Also Garath seems to be still alive for some reason.A good thing so I didn't waste any experience on him.Chapter 3 ends.It was a very intensiv chapter. Great plot! This hack makes me lots of fun so far!Actually this hack isn't too hard yet.I'm looking forward to play the next chapters!Still must play chapter 4. @ The Moniker Thanks!
