Aqua's song lyrics

Hey, sorry if there's already something up about this but I'm just trying to figure out the lyrics from the new trailer

So far I've got:

You are the ocean’s great waves

Destined to seek life beyond the shore just out of reach

Yet the waters ever change

Flowing like time the point where (last two words here)

Anyone had better luck catching what Aqua sings as the archers shoot?

I need some subtitles, (I also had to rewatch the video several times to try and make out what Elise, Sakura, and the Queen were saying)

"You are the ocean's great waves,

Destined to seek life beyond the shore just out of reach.

Yet the waters ever change;

Flowing like time. The point is, your feint's lie."

That's what I hear, anyway. The italicised word is quite hard to make out, though. "The point is" seems really out of the place for such a metaphorical song, in my opinion, so I'm hoping my hearing is off

You are the ocean's great waves

Destined to see life beyond the shore just out of reach

Yet the waters ever change

Flowing like time, the point to certain time

This is all I can hear.

And here I thought my English was bad lol, it seems I'm not the only one who couldn't make out the lyrics XDD

The words seemed pretty clear it's just that right at the point in the lyrics her voice gets overpowered by arrows swooshes/Garon

At that point, I hear 'something something something yours to something~'

I want to say the very last word is "tide" to fit with the theme of the rest of the song.

But the few words on how it gets from Flowing like time to that is a mystery to my ears.

Any idea what うたかた思い巡るはかり is supposed to mean? And no I'm not gonna look at the English lyrics for a reliable translation.

I heard...

"You are the ocean's great waves.

Destined to seek life beyond the shore just out of reach.

Yet the waters ever change.

Flowing like time the path is your's to try."

Nice. This sounds right to me. Fits with having to choose a side as well.

From what I can understand, it means "a way of singing where your thoughts are devising a stratagem" literrally if that's what Aqua sang...

Since the "Yu ra ri yu ru re ri" doesn't make anysense yet I don't understand what she is talking about but if you put it in the context

But given to the scene I'd say it's a bit before the strangulation cutscene, so It is something Aqua regrets, thus making she cries...

巡る: Meguru hakari means "devise a stratagem", "scheming"... I'm sure about this and either it refers to Nohr plotting something ("sakubou wo megurasu" was in the sentence defining Nohr) or Aqua betraying Kamui (I'm pretty sure it will happen somehow...)

思い Omoi means thoughts : as in Hitori Omou "One's thoughts"

方:utakata = a way of singing / how to sing

So I'd translate it as "singing a way where you think about plotting something"

But I'm not a translator and I don't know much about japanese so take it with a grain of salt until someone as Kirokan or Rey will give some certified answer ^^'

It's good to know I wasn't the only one who got confused by it.

We seem to have the first part set, it's just that last line that's confusing

Maybe it's just me but I think (heavy emphaises on think) the last bit could be

"paths are tied"

"choice defined"

"search defined"

"surfin' time!" (Yeah that won't be it, but what if..?)

It seems to end in an -ied though...

And thanks for all the theories, nice to see people getting involved!

Though I have to say

"your fate lies" does seem the most plausible, nice job "maybe"! But then the others could still fit..
