Mekkah
Abusing the predictable RNG seed: the beginning of the end for FE GBA speedrunning. Several eloquent representatives of the Twitch chat (Kappa) were expressing that this was menuing: the game, and I can't blame them. It's fun to watch once, but after that, never again. Molotov is an awesome guy though.

Irysa
I think lots of people find precise execution of inputs to be less interesting if they only correlate to menus rather than "action" orientated demonstrations. I completely disagree personally, as I think great menuing takes a lot of practice, and any attempts to claim "it's just memorisation" can be applied to a lot of highly deterministic action titles that people otherwise get hype for. But i do understand that there is something just less awesome about seeing cursors flying around compared to a character making precise jumps and attacks. Mekkah
There's no denying that it takes great skill, it just doesn't look as flashy, especially to people used to action games.
dondon151
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "menuing: the game." Could you elaborate? you just go through menus in a predetermined order. there's no need to make backup strats or react to things that you didn't completely expect.
