Abusing the predictable RNG seed: the beginning of the end for FE GBA speedrunning. Several eloquent representatives of the Twitch chat (Kappa) were expressing that this was menuing: the game, and I can't blame them. It's fun to watch once, but after that, never again. Molotov is an awesome guy though.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "menuing: the game." Could you elaborate?

I think lots of people find precise execution of inputs to be less interesting if they only correlate to menus rather than "action" orientated demonstrations. I completely disagree personally, as I think great menuing takes a lot of practice, and any attempts to claim "it's just memorisation" can be applied to a lot of highly deterministic action titles that people otherwise get hype for. But i do understand that there is something just less awesome about seeing cursors flying around compared to a character making precise jumps and attacks.
