[SOLVED](FE8) Enemy stat generator through autoleveling

This is on Normal mode:

Ok, it seems that from Prologue up to Chapter 13

promoted enemies get 9 levels as pre-promotes

+ promoted base stat

+ average stats based on their current level as promoted units

Then

from Chapter 14 and onwards

they don't get and any pre-promo level-ups.

Only their base promoted bases + stats based on level.

Is this normal?

I don't think it has to do with the enemy ID as the same enemy (0x80)

will get different stats depending on what chapter it loads.

Da hell?

This really destroys balance ~_~

So, I entered the vanilla Ch.16 of Eirika to see some things

and noticed that

some promoted enemies do gain pre-promo bonus levels

while some others don't.

This raises the question if there is some sort of "flag" that causes some enemies to get those extra stats (like the "drop last item")

while some others don't.

However, in both EA and HxD i don't see any difference between those units. (in the way they are written down)

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Ha...after some guessing and trial and error i found that

it's autolevels 2(0x15) and 3(0x1D) that are bugged for some reason and cause this problem

while autolevels 1,4,5,6, and 8 work as intended (these are the levels I tested).

More testing is requiered...

Ok, all autolevels work as intended except for the 2 mentioned above [autolevels 2(0x15) and 3(0x1D)].

So, if you are planning to make promoted units that suck and give EXP early, make them promoted Lv2 or Lv3.

Otherwise skip these.
