Monkey 926 grabbed a banana, not knowing it was tied to a string. The string was attached to a fan's switch, and by pulling the switch the fan turned on, blowing down a string of Dominoes until they led to a tower of Dominoes that fell down. The tower of Dominoes were holding up a snake in a cage, and when it fell it escaped, where it saw a hamster. The hamster was on a wheel, and tried to run from the snake, but instead the wheel turned and turned gears attached to it. The final gears had blades attached to them, and when they turned they cut a string holding up a spring loaded hammer, which fell towards the monkey and launched him into a trampoline a distance away, where the monkey was launched into low-Earth orbit. Little did anyone know that it was all an elaborate trap...

monkey 925 saw the death of monkey 926 and avoided bananas from that day forward, he starved to death the next day.

Monkey 924 choked on a banana holder it thought was a banana.

Monkey 923, wanting more out of life than just eating bananas, went to Hollywood to make a name for itself. There, 923 made a name for itself starring in a series of blockbuster action films. Having more fame and wealth than it could ever need, 923 returned to its home in the jungle. One day, as 923 was walking out of his jungle mansion, it came across a fan, Monkey 922. It turns out 922 didn't like the sixth movie 923 starred in very much, and so 922 clubbed 923 over the head with an old microwave and left 923 for dead. Monkey 922 was stoned to death the next day, not because it killed Monkey 923, but because there was a banana shortage, and the monkeys needed a scapegoat.

Monkey 921 realized that the king of monkeys, 920, had limited freedom of speech in the land of the monkeys. He made a plan to assassinate 920, and succeeded by stabbing him. In front of the public.

 

He was later hanged.

 

919 monkeys remain.

Monkey 919 was later hanged as part of a government purge against hangmen. The monkey who initiated the purge, 918, was himself executed by a new government led by monkey 917, who was defenestrated to his death when he was accused of embezzlement. The defenstrator, monkey 916, was made to drink alcohol until he died of cirrhosis of the liver.

Monkey 915 was late to the ice-bucket challenge, and decided to try it. But there was a, ah, complication in the action, and he died. To this day, the other monkeys still don't know how he managed to freeze himself to death in the middle of the jungle.
