I like doing fan dubs and fan covers of songs, but, I can't actually speak/read in Japanese so I usually need a basis for my words. In this particular case, I want to sing "Fly" from "A Wind Colored Tsubasa". (As well as others but I'll cross that bridge when I get there). So I was wondering if anybody could translate the words to the full-length song to English? I only have what they have in game in the cutscene so far, which is; I'm flying through the sky, I'm soaring through the Blue I know I'm only here because of you The feelings in my heart I'll show them to you one by one So I'm thanking you, I'm thanking you for all that you've done When I was just a kid, I'd stare up at the sky And wish that one day I could feel that free I never thought one day, that I'd be flying like this My wings spread wide and all the world around me With you in my life, your wind beneath my wings Suddenly I am ten times as strong! I did some research and I found a channel that posted the english lyrics of two TMS#FE Songs, those being "Feel" (the short version) and "Black Rain" (the full version). (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkjfKrJKDQF13h3LddQ4MRw) Apparently, according to his video descriptions, the official artbook has the official translations of these songs in them. I'm assuming the translation of "Fly" could be in said artbook as well? If that is indeed the case, you could ask someone with access to this artbook for the official translation. I wasn't able to find a scan of such a page myself. Keep in mind that the information I provided consists of some speculation on my part, plus I'm hardly an authority figure on Shin Megami Tensei or Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Too bad the requested song isn't in there... At the very least I learned something new today... Did you know that the "Squid Sisters" song from "Splatoon" got a a tribute in this game? I sang Lost in Thoughts All Alone at a solo and ensemble concert with my friend last year after rearranging it for a duet. It was pretty fun. :) As for accompaniment music, try downloading Audacity, you can off-vocal songs with it and it's free. :) I don't actually own a nice microphone or camera either, but, I do have editing software and the computer lab at my school has them so I'm fine until I get money. :) By the way.... The stuff I'm relatively confident in is the "Blowin' in the wind" lines, while everything else has varying degrees of apprehension. Well, it's better than nothing at all. I think that this should be good enough to sing, honestly. :) .....Well, unless somebody else comes and says that it's wrong.
