Michelaar
Just what the title says. I love this track:
DarkDestr0yer61
Context of the song, this song plays while you are infiltrating a base. But it sounds like it was ripped out of a 70s porno. I was playing this part of the game at my friends house (it was the my first time either of us have played the game), and when this song started playing we laughed our asses off because how out of placed it sounded. Rapier
does the Studiopolis Zone x Fresh Prince of Bel'Air mix count? Not sure if this track counts, but "questionable" is really subjective so I'm going with this. For a fighting game, Budokai 2 has a lot of jazzy tracks and... this piece here. I mean, it makes sense since it represents Gotenks, but I think it reaches the pinnacle of oddity. Edited September 11, 2016 by Rapier
Thane
One of my favorite video game themes of all time, I believe. There's a lot of good music out there, but this gets me pumped for an adventure far more than most songs that are meant to be epic.
Tsunami922
I have quite a few of these, but I'll just post this one for now.
Zera
Video description: This plays during the fight with one of the weirdest concepts for a boss ever. Only the Japanese could come up with something like this. You're basically fighting an armed speaker known as Guardian 17 (Security Level 17 in Japan) near the end of Stage 3 (by the way, the stages in this game usually have more than one boss per level). As for the song itself, it's a completely unique boss theme. I really like the instrument combination here. Shinehollow
It's because of the lyrics (which is one of the reasons this game got it's mild lyrics warning). Edited September 11, 2016 by Queen Zenobia
Master Thunderblade
I can't help but smile every time I listen to this song... Even if it is the silliest thing I ever heard.
saisymbolic
"I'm not done talking to you! Don't you run away!" "You're the one running away." My absolute favorite moment in video game history. But this song... Man, this song drowns me with a wave of childhood memories. It still gives me goosebumps, even after eleven years since I first played it. I honestly think this song to be one of few video game soundtracks that perfectly captures the tone and mood of the scenes it is featured in. Even when not in the context of the video game, this song is one that somehow manages to evoke a certain kind of emotion that few games (in my opinion) has managed. People be seriously sleeping on FFX. They can say what they want about the voice acting, about the main characters (even though I believe Tidus to be one of the better ones of the series) and about the story, but it is still a masterpiece in its own right. My uncle's response, however: "Why you listenin' to that sad ass music? Go listen to some real music." The same response is made by my friends and other family. ...Uncultured swine, the lot of them. Sire
"Boy, playin' these complicated games makes me about as antsy as a frog on the freeway with his hopper busted. " Gameplay Time: 1 Hour: "What is this?" || 10 Hours: "Eh, it's somewhat catchy." || 100 Hours: "I can't hear you, I can't see you..." In all seriousness, I didn't expect this track to catch up with me as it did. I actually enjoy it now, although that may be hours sitting around in NLA doing one thing or another... The Draco Knight
Can someone explain to me why such an exciting and amazing track, that could fit be in an action game, is used for mini-rhythm game based on a See-Saw?
Locke087
At first black tar can be annoying but over time it grows on you. That's in the skell version is actually good song... Edited September 11, 2016 by Locke087
