Hey, it's an update! Although due to technical issues regarding Spanky a.k.a Whity the Dolphin's video... I decided to screw the poll, I'm going random pick!

Also, the next game is Sonic Wings Special; a remix a.k.a mashup of the three previous Aero Fighters games.

[ A-10 Thunderbolt II - Captain Silver ]

[ A-10 Thunderbolt II - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Bombs

Bomb: F.A.E (Fuel Air Explosive)

Err... This guy first appeared in the Second Aero Fighters game by the way...

Captain Silver rides in the Warthog which replaces the Harrier as the primary powerhouse of the game. The Harrier is still in the game but it has been toned down a.k.a nerfed ever since Aero Fighters 2.

This plane is capable of dealing huge amounts of damage in such short periods of time. The bombs which act as its subweapon dishes out a huge amount of pain on any targets while his bomb, is basically dropping a pair of Fuel Air Explosives on the screen. The explosion is huge and has a long burn time and deals even more damage than ever before!

Thus, the plane is ideal for finishing off bosses quickly...

The downside though, is that since it is a powerhouse plane; it suffers from slow speed.

EDIT: Added Boss Rush video...

Playlog update! From Russia with LOVE!

[ IL-102 - Chaika and Pooshika ]

[ IL-102 - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Exploding Canisters

Bomb: Grand Napalm

The Russian twins, Chaika (in Blue and with Glasses) and Pooshika (in Red) take to the skies with the Ilyushin IL-102 which is another powerhouse in-game and moves slightly faster than the A-10.

The plane fires rockets in a scattershot fashion similar to Hien's shurikens or kunai making it hard to focus fire on enemies although this primary shot happens to hit pretty hard for a main weapon.

The twins have explosive canisters as a sub-weapon and this can lay down the smackdown on enemies; especially bosses if you manage to keep on firing those explosives at them. As for their bomber attack; the IL-102 inherits the JAS-39 Gripen's Grand Napalm which is basically calling in multiple pillars of flame on screen and this time, it actually nullifies bullets while dealing decent damage.

UPDATE! Now with the favorite!

[ F-117 - Keaton ]

https://youtu.be/LjuHDfZMpN8

[ F-117 - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Rolling Napalm

Bomb: Orbital Laser Strike

The plane has twin lasers for a main weapon but is kinda "meh" in power for me...

However for its sub-weapon; it gets the Rolling Napalm from the first game which deals pretty strong damage. At max power; it fires them in a V-like formation where one trails straight and one trails according to the direction you're going to.

For its bomber attack, it's nice to watch but lacks the punch... Keaton calls in an orbital laser strike to hit all enemies on screen.

UPDATED Game Log!

Took me a while because I lost game progress due to a bug...

[ F-104 - Tee-Bee A-10 ]

[ F-104- Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Floating Mines

Bomb: Cluster Mine

The plane fires a broad spread of bullets for basic attack; it's weak in power but it can pierce through enemies to make up for its weakness in attacking power.

For its subweapon; he fires floating mines like he did in the first game. They hit hard when they collide with an opponent and are capable of nullifying bullets. As for his Bomber Attack, Tee-Bee fires a cluster bomb that explodes into a ring of mines; it deals nasty damage to a boss if you can hit them point-blank with it!

Good grief, this run was a pain... Did a lot of re-dos when I was doing Mao-Mao's run but hey... It's done!

[ F-15 Eagle - Mao-Mao ]

[ F-15 Eagle - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Gull Laser

Bomb: Time Freeze a.k.a E-Wave

Just like in the first game, Mao-Mao's F-15 Eagle fires a bunch of straight firing bullets as a basic attack. These deal mediocre damage hence her offenses become questionable until you reach the 3rd Power-Up level which grants her subweapon, the Gull Laser. The Gull Lasers are straight-firing lasers that deal decent damage and pierce through targets. Compared to the first Aero Fighters game, her Gull Lasers are a bit stronger.

For her bomber attack, she activates a wave of EMP which makes enemies frozen in time allowing you to wail on them while they're very helpless for a short duration. This bomber attack also nullifies all bullets on screen.

Also, thought to test my uh... "video seal" on this and some previous videos from the Android games.

UPDATE TIME!

[ Ka-50 Black Shark - Volk ]

[ Ka-50 Black Shark - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Guided Missiles

Bomb: Carpet Bombing

A combination of speed and power, Volk's Ka-50 Black Shark can destroy bosses fast thanks its arsenal...

For its main shot... It has straight-firing bullets; it can be adjusted to lean on the left or right depending on the direction where you're going... Going up or down reverts it to straight fire.

His sub-weapon of guided missiles do not start homing into enemies until it manages to distance a bit from the helicopter. As for its bomber attack, it calls in bombers to carpet bomb the heck out of everything. It does have a delay before it nullifies bullets on-screen... Just like the carpet bombing from the first Aero Fighters game, this can deal tremendous amount of damage to enemies including bosses!

Another update!

[ FS-X - Hien ]

[ FS-X - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Homing Shuriken

Bomb: Ninja Beam

Hien is just the same as he is from the first Aero Fighters game, his shurikens or kunai as a main attack are fired in a spread-out fan formation hence making it hard to focus fire on a target. However, his homing shurikens can cover that problem and deal decent damage.

His bomb is still the same, he fires the Ninja Beam... like from the first game which is basically a large energy beam that can deal okay damage once it is done. It's also life saving as it activates quickly.

That's two updates for this playlog!

[ AV-8B Harrier II Plus - Lord River N. White ]

[ AV-8B Harrier II Plus - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Forward-firing Missiles

Bomb: V-Napalm

Lord River N. White is back but this time on a Harrier instead of the Panavia Tornado IDS... As expected for a Harrier; it has a 3-way spread shot augmented by forward-firing missiles that deal very good damage making this a powerhouse plane.

Its bomber attack has the Harrier going up via Vertical Lift, and then dropping a pair of Napalm bombs that explode in a V-shaped formation. This can deal heavy damage. As expected from a powerhouse plane, it's deadly but it's pretty slow.

All aboard the Viking jet!

[ AJ-37 Viggen - Kowful the Viking ]

[ AJ-37 Viggen - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Metal Storm

Bomb: Thor's Hammer

The viking is back and his plane is just the same like it was in the first game... The AJ-37 still has its standard arsenal of straight-firing bullets and side-firing missiles that deal with foes that would flank or attack you from the sides.

The change here though is its bomber attack, it still does the same; the Viggen flips over and fires a pack of large missiles that deal good damage. The update this time is that they can now nullify bullets that would collide with the missile's flight path.

Good grief, this run was frustrating...

[ YF-23 - Spanky a.k.a Whity the Dolphin ]

[ YF-23 - Boss Rush Videos ]

Sub-weapon: Aqua Pulse

Bomb: Giant Float Mines

If Lord White's AV-8B Harrier II Plus is a slow-moving powerhouse of plane with a spreadshot. Spanky a.k.a Whity the Dolphin's YF-23 is a fast-moving plane with mediocre offenses despite of it having a spreadshot. It's a four-way spread shot accompanied by "Water Pulses" as the sub-weapon.

His bomber attack just releases four giant floating mines that function similarly to Tee-Bee's subweapon; being the difference is that they soak up some punishment before succumbing to the enemy bullets. Offensively, if you can pointblank a boss with this bomber attack; it can deal heavy damage if all four giant float mines manage to connect with the boss.

and...

Oh look, an update! Luckily this is the first perfect run so far...

[ F-14 Tomcat - Ellen and Cindy (Cincia in JP version) ]

[ F-14 Tomcat - Boss Rush Video ]

Sub-weapon: Phoenix Missiles

Bomb: Tomahawk Barrage

The F-14 Tomcat is back in Sonic Wings Special but this time is an unlockable plane and requires you to clear the game with at least 8 of the playable characters once. Its basic attack are a broad spread of bullets similar to its appearance in Aero Fighters and still has those strong Phoenix Missiles; which flies slowly but deals good damage as it no longer has the burn effect, which is saying a lot since the missiles of the Tomcat are fast, spammable but weak in Aero Fighters 2.

Bomber attack is still the same, the Tomcat calls in a storm of Tomahawk Cruise Missiles on screen; this deals good amounts of damage. The catch this time is that you won't need to wait for the slight delay before the bullets are nullified. Enemy bullets are nullified right away when you activate the bomber attack which is a nice improvement.

From this day on... I'm now renaming the thread to "Frosty sucks at Videogames" because I am now adding other games in the mix...

Now here have an Ace Combat 2 video!

This one is the First Mission though. It could have been an "Annihilation" run if only that one enemy F-4 Phantom II showed up; but it decided not to...

[Ace Combat 2 - Mission 1: "Gambit"]

EDIT: Just uploaded the second mission, Easy Money. This ended up as a total annihilation of the enemy squadron; including the special enemy pilot, "Superfly".
