Honestly at this point I'm not sure who's the worst of the good so I just picked the two units I wanted least. I guess Kaze is pretty good with 1~2 range but I never liked his low bulk in such an EP-heavy environment.

CHAPTER 2 - 3/10 TURNS
Went up Kaze's side and killed him t2, then weakened Rinkah and shielded Felicia from her on turn 3. No 2 range helped there. Gunter sadly got both bosskills.
CHAPTER 3 - 5/15 TURNS
Standard I think? Felicia got defence!
CHAPTER 4 - 7/22 TURNS
Kaze got a shit level and Corn got two good ones. Seems like a bad tradeoff.

CHAPTER MOZU - 6/41 TURNS
Corrin, Felicia and Azura went to the boss, and Orochi and Kaze went south with vulneraries, Kaze with Orochi dual strikes orko'd faceless.

CHAPTER 8 - 5/46 TURNS
Kaze paired with Orochi and ran ahead, then swapped to her on turn 2, she actually doubled and ORKO'd the ones Kaze couldn't. Orochi's desert move let her and Kaze get propelled to near Fuga on turn 3 without using a turn on the dragon vein early on. Corrin dragon vein'd on turn 1 then moved and killed a Samurai on turn 1, recruiting Hinoka (and Ass sama) on turn 2. Felicia killed the Oni that chased after Ass sama, Hinoka went and dealt with the Samurai/Archer pair with Corrin, and Orochi+Kaze combined on the bosskill.
CHAPTER 9 - 7/53 TURNS
Heart Sealed Ass Sama to Weedlord. He paired with Hinoka and she went to take out the cavs on the right, Kaze and Orochi went left, and Corrin hung around the start to recruit Takumi's retainers since he had nothing else to do and its free money. Then used the unorthadox strat of using Ass Sama to take out all the knights (but one) and the outlaws since he oneshotted the outlaws and orko'd the knights. Kaze took the Hinoka express up towards Zola and killed him, while Ass sama and Hinoka chased down the Outlaws after the chests. Orochi, Felicia and Corrin handled the reinforcements.

CHAPTER 10 - 6/59 TURNS
Got Takumi, gave Ass Sama Speedwings. Hinoka flew ahead on the north part of the map and swapped to Kaze, who killed the ninjas and one of the spear guys, and then he swapped back and Hinoka dumped him in the Rescue chest area on turn 3, and they got the chest (eventually) and killed Kotaro and the enemies around there. Everyone else just routed the map.

CHAPTER 11 - 6/65 TURNS
The snake spirit dude showed up on turn 5? The fuck? I thought he didn't show up till like turn 10. He almost ruined everything.

Takumi killed three of the initial promoted enemies on the first three turns, and Hinoka+Ass sama boosted ahead with Azura's help on turn 1 to take out the bottom left corner. Corrin hung around the start to kill the reinforcements to the south, while Kaze+Orochi went north (Kaze eventually went to help near the boss area, leaving the reinforcements to Orochi, who OHKO'd the wyverns). Hinoka + Ass sama baited the enemies near the boss so Takumi could kill him safely on the EP on turn 5, then kill the Snake Spirit guy on turn 6.
CHAPTER 12 - 2/67 TURNS
Promoted Takumi at level 15. He ferried Corrin to the goal. Ass Sama + Orochi killed the south enemies rather painlessly, Hinoka ferried Kaze to the dracoshield.

With such a 9/10 team, we need a 9/10 Corrin to help us out; enter WENDY.

Prologue (2/2): Uh.

Chapter 1 (5/7): Need a Str proc for the 5-turn (55%). Wendy did one better and got a PERFECT LEVEL UP.

Chapter 2 (3/10): Go up the right. Sometimes when the northmost Samurai moves, they don’t go above Kaze which makes the Samurai Wendy chips die on Jakob instead of Gunter (I guess the AI prioritizes having AtS?). It’s random but gives an extra kill to Jakob (didn’t happen here).

Chapter 3 (5/15): Wendy whiffed the first hit on the boss, then crit him on EP which was pretty funny. Jakob killed an Archer so he was sitting at 3.97 leaving the chapter.

Chapter 4 (7/22): Hit the boss’ DV and get lucky.

Chapter 5 (4/26): I wish Ryoma surviving wasn’t such a coinflip. Wendy got a couple good levels though. Her Def actually kinda sucked so she couldn’t survive Steel Sword Merc chip followed by a Wyrmslayer without either healing or leveling up Def on the first Merc.

Chapter 6 (1/27): Jakob was at 97 EXP so he killed Leo and chipped a Cav for two levels, and Wendy killed a Fighter. Ryoma unnecessarily crit Xander at a 1% chance.

Chapter 7 (8/35): Bought a Kodachi for Wendy to use. Deployed an undrafted Rinkah to trade a Str Tonic to Subaki so he can ORKO Fighters with Wendy pairup. The group muscles through towards the center using Azura to help take down the stacks. The strat I used requires Subaki to get a Str level up so he can ORKO a Soldier, which is the only big risk in the entire thing to be honest. On Turn 7, Wendy takes out Silas, Subaki one of the Cavs using Wendy AtS, and Jakob kills the Outlaw reinforcement and a Fighter with Azura’s help, moving in range of the central Outlaw. On the last turn, Jakob gets refreshed to chip the knight near the center chest so he dies on EP, and Wendy + Subaki finish the last Cavalier.

Chapter Mozu (6/41): Jakob and Azura went south, Azura actually contributing chip via AtS to ORKO a couple goons. The rest went west. I hope Subaki gains Speed at some point.

Chapter 8 (5/46): Jakob got refreshed a bit further on Turn 1. Wendy hits the DV and Silas kills one of the starting Samurai. Turn 2 Azura backpacks on Silas to pair with Jakob and go visit Fuga; he needs to gain a level and proc Speed to double Fuga with the Steel Shuriken (though he has a not insignificant crit chance too). He routs the enemies around the boss area and everyone else cleans the rest of the map.

Chapter 9 (6/52): Simple and pretty fun once I figured it out. Hayato and Wendy stay around the start and pick off enemies there, then go up to deal with the Cav reinforcements come Turn 6 EP. Everyone else makes a push north, Jakob+Azura going right and the rest going up the left. Jakob kills the not-speedwings Outlaw before they can even get to the chest room. Silas OHKOs the Speedwing Outlaw with Steel Sword (after he got the Speedwing). Jakob with some help goes to fight Zola with Steel Shuriken, KOing between PP and EP. Zola even crit him for 20 damage (he lived because he’s Jakob). Managed to feed a few kills to Hayato, I need a strong 1~2 user so hopefully he takes off sooner rather than later.

Jakob is just straight-up better than Wendy in every conceivable way, it’s amazing. Baki is DISAPPOINTING, so in other words he’s a normal Subaki. Not looking forward to Chapter 10, probably my least favorite map in the whole game.

CHAPTER 13 - 5/72 TURNS


Hinoka went and collected the south villages with Corrin. Everyone else went north, Orochi split off and took out Selena and the thwomp squad to the left with Felicia pairup she OHKO'd them all, while everyone else went right. Takumi killed the javelin thwomps by sitting in the river with the Fujin Yumi. Azama hilariously ORKO'd Hans, and Kaze Sting shuriken'd the general.


CHAPTER 14 - 3/75 TURNS


Reclassed Corrin to Knight. This allowed Kaze to survive an enemy phase with the defence boost that wouldn't have happened otherwise. #thwompssaveturns It also made them reach A support so Kaze wouldn't tank one next chapter.

Hinoka avoided getting OHKO'd by Keaton thanks to Thwomp Corrin. She flew to the boss area on turn 2 and routed them all with the beastkiller. Orochi and FlameShuriken!Felicia used Hinoka dual strikes to kill two initial wolfskin and Kaze killed the dudes on the dragon vein so Takumi carrying Azama could pop it and get danced, Takumi flew ahead and got dropped in range of only two wolfskin around the middle of the map, needed his movement to reach the last dude on he left. Kaze got danced and with Orochi dual strikes he killed the three in the bottom corner on turn 2.

C4 - 7/22

It took a restart for a less awful MU (no spd procs and 1 def by chapter 4, really?) and me finally accepting an 8 turn with a bunch of Rinkah exp... until somehow the last two faceless got cleaned up by Hinoka and Ryoma after they killed Sakura. Despite 2 levels, Rinkah got no strength (or speed?) but fuck it I'll take it.

Chapter 10 (7/59): Dumb map, but Jakob is even dumber. I think this is the strongest Jakob I’ve ever had. He and Azura run to the boss area being my only real anti-Ninja and kill pretty much everything. Hayato kills Takumi with some help from Wendy and those two + Hinata kinda just hang around the start killing stuff. Subaki eventually makes his way to the boss zone to kill the Shrine Maiden and he and Jakob kill Kotaro on Turn 7.

Chapter 11 (6/65): This is a great training ground for Hayato, what with all the wyverns at the starting area and him ORKOing all of them. Jakob and Azura (with some help from Hinata) head up to the northwest to fight the enemies and fight the boss there; Jakob gets a lucky crit on the Malig Knight, which may or may not have facilitated a turn shave (i think i could’ve set it up for him to die on EP). After a bit of cleanup in the center, Silas and Oboro make their way back to the start to deal with the northern Pegs on Turn 6 EP, with Wendy pocket Hayato taking out the ones from the south. Subaki and Setsuna charged forward taking care of some Wyverns and the Falcoknight’s corner; afterwards they headed up to assist Jakob with the bosskill going to Subaki. Hinata killed a Wyvern all on his own, so proud.

Jakob and Azura may be hitting S very soon…!

Chapter 12 (2/67): Promoted Subaki to Falcon Knight and had him ferry Wendy to the goal. Everyone else went south to rout some dudes and get the Hammer + 3000g. Speed Tonic Hayato pocket Hinata got a few kills from 2 range, and finished the Great Knight after Sting Shuriken Jakob weakened him, hitting Lv 10 in the process. Probably gonna be a bit before he promotes.

Chapter 13 (6/73): Hinata promotes to Master of Arms so he can ORKO the Fighters and survive better against other stuff like Wyverns. The pairup bonuses will be nice in the future. He and Jakob start out taking the left side cavs and Wyverns, with Jakob eventually heading north with Azura to fight the armors. Hayato and Wendy headed to the right to take on the enemies there, Silas and Oboro helping later; Hayato gets to kill the right side General and ORKOs Hans. Subaki faces off against Camilla and Beruka, baiting Cam into 1-range thanks to WTD. Got the Heart Seal, Spirit Dust, Talisman, and money.

Jakob and Azura hit S, so uh, Wyvern Shigure incoming? At least now I can fully dedicate Hinata as Jakob’s pairup.

Chapter 14 (4/77): Fed the Spirit Dust to Hayato, HORSE SPIRIT EMBLEM IS HERE. Just kinda ran in and watched things die, did a shelter dance to get Subaki and Hayato closer to Benny and Charlotte. Had to dance Subaki inside the fortress so he could reach the boss by Turn 4 (almost all the enemies were dead by then, Horse Spirit and Barb Shuriken too stronk). I gave tonics to Azura so she could survive a Javelin hit from a paladin on Turn 3, but they ended up not even being able to reach her in the winning run.

Chapter 15 (2/79): Hayato AtSes off Subaki to kill the starting promoted guy, then Jakob Barb crits the guy standing on the DV so Wendy can hit it. Subaki flies over to chip the left-ish promoted dude with Bolt Naginata, and Oboro Swaps Azura so she can reach and refresh Subaki. He flies off to take care of the leftmost dudes on EP, and Silas Shelters Azura. Turn 2, Subaki flies to a magic tile that allows him to kill literally everything left in the north half of the map and attacks the Pavise dude. Hayato gets ferried by Jakob with a refresh to kill the 3 guys in the bottom left on EP, and promoted to Basara mid-map since he proc’d Future Sight off the promoted guy on Turn 1 and hit Lv 18.

Chapter Shigure (15 free): Wanted my Wyvern sooner rather than later. Took the opportunity to reclass Hayato to Chieftain which he will probably be in for the rest of the game (maybe a dip into Onmyoji for Tomefaire?), the bulk and Shove will be useful, plus the bonuses for Wendy are a bit better being Str and Defense instead of garbage Luck and Res. Also reclassed Silas to Mercenary and promoted to Bow Knight for the Speed and pairup bonuses (and skills i guess?), Oboro will be taking over Paladin duties at some point anyways. Reclassed Shigure to Wyvern Rider and gave him an Arms Scroll for the next map. He inherited Luck+4 and Tomebreaker, this is gonna be FUN.

Chapter 16 (8/87): Reinforcements suck. Fed Hayato another Spirit Dust and the two Secret Books so he can ORKO a Sorcerer with Tiger Spirit and patch up his hit rates. Shigure+Jakob and Subaki+Setsuna just kinda ran in and killed stuff, everyone else took care of some reinforcements and dudes at the start. Got the Silence and Goddess Icon thanks to the thieves opening them for me.

Wendy and Hayato along with Subaki and Setsuna hit S after this chapter.

Chapter Rhajat (9 free): Did this almost exclusively for Shove. Rhajat’s pretty okay I guess. Passed Seal Resistance and Nobility. Hinata reclassed to Blacksmith so he and Hayato could both learn to Shove things. Also realized... I unintentionally gave Rhajat a pretty good shade of purple hair.

Chapter 17 (2/89): Promoted Shigure to Wyvern Lord. Kinda lucked out on team composition, I needed both Shoves to save a turn here since my bosskiller (Jakob) doesn’t give +Move. Also Swap to get Azura close enough while ferried by Shigure to refresh on Turn 1 (she passes him to Subaki during the refresh). Silas ferries one of my Shovebots to Shigure, then Jakob gets paired to by one of my Shovers, moves up and gets refreshed, then transfers himself and Hinata/Hayato (whichever it was) Shoves Shigure one more space so he can fly over and have Jakob Barb Shuriken Flora in the face (doubles, 74% hit, 37% crit). Actually needed Rhajat to freeze the lake so I could get a second Shove user onto the Lake tiles (Wendy can't reach the DV).

Chapter 18 (1/90): Oboro killed Odin for Horse Spirit, Shigure killed Leo for the sake of actually beating the map. Nobody even gained a level.

Chapter 19 (6/96): yeah. Hayato and Rhajat solo’d the right, everyone else went left. Probably could’ve shaved a turn with a bunch of Barb Shuriken crits on Turn 5 EP.

Chapter 20 (2/98): Shigure pocket Jakob Lunges into the boss room, then switches to Jakob on Turn 2 and Barb crits the boss. Through a series of wacky DOUBLE SHOVE AZURA events, I also managed to get Silas to blick the 5000g guy with Brass Bow.

Silas and Oboro hit S finally.

Chapter 21 (2/100): Subaki flies up and Rescues Shigure holding Hayato, who moves in and attacks the Sniper with Horse Spirit. Turn 2, Hayato moves within 9 spaces of the boss and switches to Shigure. Subaki flies up, switches to Azura and refreshes, Shigure flies up and Hayato ORKOs the boss with Tiger Spirit.

Chapter Caeldori (12 free): Reclassed Oboro to Merchant for some skills before Partner Sealing to Paladin. Passed down Quick Draw. Wendy got some good leveling here since she’s been kinda on the backburner since earlygame. Chapter Sophie (11? free): Passed down Potent Potion and Riposte. Saved all the villagers. Not much else to say about it. So unremarkable I forgot how quickly I cleared it.

Chapter 22 (3/103): Heeere we go. Sophie+Hayato and Oboro+Silas took the north. Wendy+Hinata solo’d the right with some help from Azura. Subaki and Shigure+Caeldori took the left. Jakob and Rhajat each take one of the lower ballistae and keep the reinforcements there off them on Turn 3 EP so they’re forced to attack. Setsuna kinda hung around the center so that on Turn 3, Azura could pair to her to reach Oboro and refresh her after she Javelins the last Maid to kill one of the Adventurers. Hayato pulls out RABBIT SPIRIT to ORKO the other one and the Dark Mage on EP.

uh, apparently my file is before chapter 19, but I didn't post my earlier clears, whoops. Thankfully two of them are easy to remember.

CHAPTER 16 - 6?/83 TURNS

Like 95% sure it was 6 turns because i remember being excited about there being no outlaw in the treasure room in the bottom right in hard mode. Orochi actually killed like everything in the two starting rooms with Horse Spirit and Corrin pairup, then promoted. Hinoka, Azama, Kaze and Azura charged forward here to nuke the enemies in the way and kill Iago. Felicia killed thwomps near the start. Forgot I had Jakob and forgot to deploy him.

CHAPTER 17 - 3/86 TURNS

No shove, so had to take an extra turn. Got more exp tho as a result, including the 10000g village.

CHAPTER 18 - 1/87 TURNS

Lol, Leo. Azama/Hinoka hit S, along with Kaze/Orochi. Gonna break and do kid paralogues maybe, I dunno. I'll update stats when I open my game again.

CHAPTER 19 - 5/92 TURNS

Wasn't too bad actually. Orochi, Felicia and BoltNaginata Hinoka took out the right side easily and got the chest on turn 5. No problems there.

on the right, Takumi got rid of the thwomp on turn 1 with help from Sting Shuriken Azama (he had to use a lance and couldn't eat a counter), and Kaze ran ahead with Corrin pair and killed the mechanist, allowing Jakob to dual strike kill the Maid. Azura danced Azama who just ran ahead a bit and he killed the Maid on the stairs. Next turn Azura paired into Jakob and danced Kaze or Azama ahead (I forget already) in the next room, and the other killed the close sniper with a weapon (half the enemies don't even have a weapon in that room, wut). Kaze and Azama cleared out the middle room on turn 3, killed the first pairup on turn 4 in the final room, and Jakob killed the swordmaster (he was undoublable and lived a hit and got danced to kill the berserker, Kaze Azama weakened the Dual Naginata guy, while Kaze weakened the other guy with the sting shuriken, enabling him to kill the thwomp and bolt dude on the EP with Azama steel shuriken dual strikes. Takumi killed the two physic guys in the sniper room while Corrin (who promoted for more movement, lol) got the other chest,

Could have 2 turned with a rescue use, but I wanna see if the boots are worthwhile. Friendship sealed Corrin to Master Ninja, he's awful. However he did gain locktouch and get the spy's shuriken, maybe that will do something. Probably not. Kaze got the boots, and Jakob+Azama killed the boss, Jakob gave him the strength boost he needed. Got other misc. items from the faceless too, like money and Goddess Icon.

Nobody really gained much exp except Corrin, who gained way more than anyone (except Felicia/Jakob). Did Midori's then Mitama's paralogues. Mitama has replicate.

Azama replicated on turn 1 and was danced north to kill everything, then kill Shura on turn 2. Mitama replicated and killed both of the turret guys on turn 2. Kaze with Takumi pair killed the right part of the map, Azama clone with Hinoka took the left, everyone else got the south enemies.

Could have rigged a Kaze Lethality on Iago for a 1 turn but thats pretty lame. Came up 1 tile short of getting the boots and 1 turning without it, super salty. I have ideas for future drafts though. Azama got entrapped up ahead then Mitama rescued him to kill Iago. Felicia and Takumi got as many support points as possible, plz I want Kiragi's paralogue for the exp before endgame.

CHAPTER 27 - 1/107 TURNS

Bought the last arms scroll and gave it to Azama so he could use the Silver Yumi. Reclassed Corrin to THWOMP #thwompssaveturns.

Hinoka moved ahead and rescued Azama + Corrin ahead, and with the power of SPENDTHRIFT STING SHURIKEN he killed a thwomp blocking the path to Garon. Kaze killed a thwomp immediately in front of the party, and Orochi and Shura used their rallies (magic and skill) so that Mitama could have a 35% hitrate with the Hexing Rod after moving 10 spaces up, she was barely in range thanks to a Jakob pair and the boots, and she hex'd Garon. Kiragi carring Felicia rescued Takumi carrying Azura forward, and he moved ahead and swapped to Azura who danced Azama. He killed Garon exactly with the Silver Yumi.

ENDGAME - 1/108 TURNS

Had to hit a hexing Rod at 59, but I had two shots at it since Azura didn't need to dance anyone. Azama + Mitama + Kaze killed the final boss.

UNITS REVIEWS:

Corrin - As a unit that killed things, he was really bad past Chapter 9 or so. Thwomp pair actually saved three turns, which was really funny. Although if he had any other bane, he'd have an extra point of strength in pairup anyway. Mostly a pairup bot. 101 Battles, 60 Victories.

Felicia - Actually was pretty good, not even kidding. Her offence was reasonable for a very long time (once she got the flame shuriken). Healing was invaluable. 61 Battles, 28 Victories

Kaze - He was REALLY FUCKING BAD statwise earlygame, I think he ate two energy drops and still barely reached his anemic strength cap. Got Life or Death for saving a turn on the final boss, along with Shurikenfaire, it's a lot of damage. Still, he's HUGE in chapter 7, no unit can match his value there other than maybe Jakob, but he can only be one place at once. Still very good. 166 battles, 122 Victories

Orochi - Was actually still pretty good, even did some frontline combat early in the game when nobody could kill Oni Chieftains. Otherwise helped a lot in rout maps but otherwise did very little. Rally magic came in handy lategame. 109 Battles, 88 Victories

Hinoka - Was pretty disappointed, I think Subaki's undoubtably better now. Takes Corrin out of the way in her recruitment map, and doesn't exist in the previous two maps. She was basically a ferrybot for most of the game, except for the Wolfskin chapter, which was her claim to fame. Used Rescue a few times I guess. 101 battles, 71 Victories

Azama - He's basically Saizo once he promotes, maybe even better since he gets more out of tonics and gets spendthrift which is better than life or death. If you can spare a heart seal, he's actually fantastic. MVP probably. 202 Battles, 150 Victories

Takumi - His stats BLEW CHUNKS, most notably speed. Still, saved a few turns here and there with flight. 93 Battles 64 Victories

Jakob - actually still found ways to be useful with a +mov pairup, and shelter dance saved a couple turns. Combatwise did next to nothing. 20 Battles, 9 Victories

Midori - Useless excluding her paralogue exp. Orochi Kaze just isn't a good pairing. 19 Battles 7 Victories.

Mitama - Had some really ridiculous genes with Hinoka and Azama, so had very very good stats. Helped in lategame routes with replicate and rescue, then thanks to an Arms scroll, had the staff rank for the Hexing Rod for endgame. 40 Battles, 30 Victories

Shura - Mov +1 on him saved at least a turn! Not bad filler combat either, and Rally skill helped with staff hit. 7 Battles, 4 Victories

Kiragi - Saved a turn or two in endgame by having an existant mount. Thanks bro. 2 Battles, 1 Victory.

Gaius' Paralogue: Free

Passed down Darting Blow and Golembane. Reclassed Chump to WEEDLORD and Scarlet to Bow Knight for skills. Reclassed Kagero to Master Ninja so she could double Master Ninjas. Scarlet could ORKO Snipers, Adventurers, and Sages with a Brass Katana ayyy. It was great. Saizo OHKOed the boss with a crit. Kaden and Kagero finally boned. More units yeah!

Selkie's Paralogue: Free

Reclassed Saizo and Kagero back to Mechanist. Reclassed Scarlet to Malig Knight cause maybe Trample will do something, I don't know. Reclassed Sakura to Onmyoji to learn Rally Magic for Hexing Rod bullshit later. Had to use my first use of Rescue here cause Selkie is a suicidal dumbass.

Nobody gained a level cause the enemies give like 1 exp to everybody except Sakura and Felicia.

Chapter 23: 5/132

Reclassed Kaden to Master Ninja for the +1 move on pair-up. Gave Kagero a Dracoshield so that she wouldn't die to a combination of Dragon Vein bullshit + Wyvern Lord. She could exactly ORKO Wyvern Lords with a Dual Shuriken ayyy. Saizo needed to use a Brass Yumi to ORKO a Wyvern Lord on Turn 1. Scarlet and Chump got danced up on Turn 1 and Chump Beast Killered the dudes up there and then Felicia followed behind after the barrier broke to kill the magic users with Rally Magic boosted Flame Shuriken + Chump dual strike. Scarlet ORKOed Effie with the Hammer even though she proced Pavise on both hits lol. Scarlet could also ORKO Wyvern Lords with a Steel Club. Selkie actually did stuff and killed 3 dudes who Saizo and Kagero were too busy to deal with, reaching B Beaststone for whatever that's worth. Felicia also has C Staves now so I can give her an Arms Scroll for Hexing Rod bullshit later if necessary. Camilla got OHKOed by Lethality from Saizo lol.

Chapter 24: 1/133

Even with Move +1 Scarlet was still 1 tile short of putting Saizo 2 tiles away from Hans, so I had to go for the Spy's Shuriken Lethality jank again. Everybody else killed Generals so Kagero could get the 10000 gold from the Sorc.

Chapter 25: 2/135

Sakura carrying Saizo got danced up. Saizo needed to get Entraped on enemy phase so he could reach Iago next turn. Thanks to Entrap, Saizo could attack Iago from 2 range instead of having to go for another Spy's Shuriken Lethality bullshit. Everybody else got as much exp as they could get. Corn won't reach Level 15 in time for Garon RIP.

Chapter 27: 2/138

Gave Chump an Arms Scroll for A Swords and 2 Energy Drops so he'd cap strength, Felicia an Arms Scroll and 2 Secret Books for Hexing Rod, and Saizo a Spirit Dust to kill both Generals and Wyvern Lords.

Flame Shuriken!Saizo with Strategist!Kana pair-up for the extra magic went up and killed all the Wyverns and a General after getting rallied by Sakura. Kagero and Scarlet followed behind. All the Great Knights attacked Scarlet cause she was equipped with a Throwing Club, but she had 0 chance of death thanks to dual guard. On Turn 2, Kagero kills the one Great Knight blocking the path and Felicia gets transferred to Scarlet. Azura dances Chump (who was reclassed back to Hoshido Noble) and Sakura rallies Felicia and Chump. Scarlet carries Felicia up and she uses the Hexing Rod on Garon at 34 hit (yeah...). Kana then Rescues Chump and Chump ORKOs Garon.

The End: 1/139

Scarlet and Sakura rallied everyone and then Saizo killed the General in front of Garon. Felicia hit the Hexing Rod here (at a much more reasonable 64 hit), but it actually wasn't needed since Silver Shuriken!Saizo + Blazing Yato!Chump can take care of Garon. I just did it as back up cause if it hits then Chump can miss once and still kill Garon. Kagero killed a General to reach level 15 for no reason.

UNIT REVIEWS:

Chump: Was decidedly not a chump, which makes me conflicted on whether or not I should be thrilled or disappointed. To be honest his strength was never bad, and his resistance was shit forever so his Asset/Flaw was a massive LIE. Anyways, good combat, had a bunch of HP which when combined with the tonic skill from Weedlord made him pretty bulky which was nice. Beast Killer access was nice for Chapter 23 and Xander. Killed the narm King of Evil and his final form pretty easily. Gets a thumbs up from me.

Felicia: Also surprisingly decent. Cost a turn in Chapter 7 cause she couldn't 4HKO thwomps like Jakob would have been able to, but besides that she was just as useful as Jakob early on. Her combat got decent when the Flame Shuriken came along, and although her use as a combatant waned as the game went on, she was still able to pull of combat when the need arised, like in Chapter 23. Pulled off some wonderfully bullshit Hexing Rod jank in Chapter 27 cause she actually has a skill stat unlike Sakura. Good unit.

Sakura: Had her moment of glory where she flied Chump to the escape point in Chapter 12 and saved like 4 turns that I thought I was going to lose due to the lack of a flier until Scarlet. After that she just kind of existed until Endgame where she was Rally Queen and made the jank Hexing Rod slightly less jank (but still pretty jank.)

Saizo: Hahaha, what the fuck. He's absolutly nuts. 1-2 range with good bulk and good enough speed is too good. Also, his existent magic stat actually helped out on occasion, like in Chapter 27. MVP, best combat unit in BR. Only sad thing was that Replicate was, once again, made useless due to getting it after all the routs were done.

Kagero: Was just a worse Saizo for the entire game, but being a slightly worse Saizo is still pretty good. Her overkill strength was nice for ORKOing Wyverns in Chapter 23 at any rate. Her skill sucked though. Like, it really sucked. She only had 70ish hit on most things at best and caused a few resets due to her being partially blind it seems. It was really noticeable for me I guess cause Saizo had max skill most of the game and had 80+ hit rates even on stuff he had WTD against. Oh well, more 1-2 range in Birthrout is always nice.

Kana: Killed a fighter in Chapter 13 and then just got fed kills till she promoted upon which she did NOTHING until Chapter 27 where she gave Saizo the magic needed to ORKO the Generals with the Flame Shuriken and used Rescue. Pretty mediocre combat wise.

Kaden: Killed a few dudes in Chapter 15 and then was just pair-up fodder the rest of the time. Giving +1 move helped out in later maps.

Scarlet: Curbstomped Chapter 15 and was useful for flight and having good bulk in routs. Move +1 saved turns and was WORTH IT. Somehow never gained a weapon rank in anything.

Gaius: Gave + 1 move to Saizo on pair-up and killed a random General in Chapter 25.

Selkie: Actually helped out in Chapter 23 by killing a few stragglers that Saizo and Kagero didn't have time to deal with. Gave +1 move in Endgame.

Azura: Dancer/10.

C7 - 8/36

Built the Rod Shop to stuff Rinkah and MU with str/spd tonics.

MU/Felicia took the front with Azura dancing them and Rinkah/Hana eventually joining up and taking the reinforcement outlaw fucker and the knight's room.

Fuck silas and his pacifist ass for costing me a turn.
