Is there any way to merge save files?

So I'm a dumbass and instead of copying my save file before the route choice, I just made a save state. I want to keep the data I finished Eirika's route on, but I also want to play Ephriam's route with my pre choice data, and have both on the same save file. Is it possible to merge save files, or copy data using a hex editor. If so, where are the save data pointers in the hex of a save file?

Don't know if there is, but it's probably not worth it, since I imagine it'd be difficult. Plus if you fully play through both paths, you get the super trainees as third promo choices for Amelia, Ross, and Ewan. They're absolutely awful classes, but it's a neat novelty.
