I have little hope that my favourite character will be on it, but it does grate to see alts back again in common pool banners. Humanoid Posted June 5, 2018 Share Posted June 5, 2018 Sure, there are a lot of other FE7 characters that could be added, including plenty of ranged units. None of those characters fly though. Just like the controversy over Horse Eirika, IS are in a bit of a tight spot if they want to add the more exotic weapon+movement types while adding new characters at the same time. Me, I'd be totally fine if they added Pent, Louise or Erk as fliers, but I suspect many people will be upset at the deviation from canon. So far IS seems to be siding with the latter group, so to make something like a flying mage from most games, they have to go the alt route. I'd take a flying mage alt over literally any infantry mage in the series. As for the Ike thing, never played the game but I'm totally fine with him. So if I'm obligated to dislike another Tellius character it'd be Black Knight, who is the living definition of try-hard. You have a higher chance of getting a 5 star focus with two units sharing the same color. Giga Excalibur is the Heroes localization team trying to dig themselves out of the hole dug by the Blazing Sword localization team translating "Gigascalibur" as "Excalibur". On the one hand, that's Atk Tactic, Swift Strike, and... that cringily named dagger in the 4-star summoning pool. On the other hand, that means we're not getting Wrath in the 4-star summoning pool (and it's again on a character that I'd rather merge than use for skills). Ugh. I get what Legault's job was in the organization, but I guess the localisation team though that purge was a bit of a controversial word. Or they're just silly. Treehouse does the localisation, right?
