Having taken a long hiatus from the game, I don't have any high-merge units. Working up enough points to climb the ladder and stay there is a bit of a pain, but I'm managing. Also only 1 BH!Lyn at match 6 where I had full choose between my counters. Now I'm happy I didn't build up seven 100% counters for each of them. Could finish AA ~30 times faster than last week, again with a personal highscore: 4998 Regular Arena will be easy, since I won't stay in Tier 20 anyway. I've wasted a lot of crests trying to break 5k points. I ended up with a single death run instead. RIP. I think I may just keep trying for a deathless streak. My score range is pretty wide. I think the lowest I've seen is 708 and the highest is 722. And a LOT of dragons. So many. I'm getting better at handling them at least. Turns out a team of YTiki, Nowi+1, Fae and Ninian don't score any more than the horses did last week (which also featured a dancer, Airzura). Welp, so much for that. With ongoing point inflation I might have to accept bouncing between tier 18 and 19 some weeks in the near future. That said, my best option this week might be to finally use my water blessings - thinking Bridelia+1 and 4* Olivia+10 might be the most versatile users. Although I think I still need to build a few units more, I need another C!Tharja counter (luckily I only needed 2, which were Fjorm and Berkut), another Falchion user (looking at you, Chrom) and one for DC Effie. Also, as other people said, no Reinhardt or Brave Lyn was found during my run. My M!Robin and F!Robin didn't even participate in this AA. Could be her, the flyers, or both! Sanaki now has good synergy with Guidance flyers. I'm glad that they finally gave her tome the buff it needed; the prior skill on it was just nonsense. Humanoid Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 I went on a point maximisation spree, did a bunch of inheritance and used my water blessings. For a moment I thought it backfired - my first matchup with the new team was a 716 or 718 point team which duly crushed me. But fortunately the lower bound was 704 points and I ground out my arena for the week. 4920 points completely smashed my old record of 4880 (set with horses of course) and should get into T20 easily, but it was bloody hard work and not something I'd look to do regularly. The last fight was particularly nerve-wracking and lasted 20 turns - TA Gronnraven counters 3/4 of my team so there's no room for error. Seeing the point yield I think I can afford to improve the team balance a little while sacrificing a couple points per fight. Maybe ATiki for Nowi. Too bad I had Armour Emblem and was in the double bridge map... I'm happy to lose to this person though. I was too focused on deleting the dangerous Axura quickly that I didn't notice Genny's Pain+ bomb. It was close, I managed to defeat everyone but this Lloyd, who gave me trouble since only Fjorm was my blue. Interesting set. Something nice is that it turns out that Airzura+2 scores about the same as Hector+0 according to the score calculator (she needs Drive Spd to get the same score, otherwise she's a little behind him) which means she's going to score higher whenever Fjorm is a bonus thanks to the Water Blessing, that won't help me stay in Tier 20 but it is nice to know in case the score creep goes out of control.
