Because Ryoma is a new unit and GHB units are available in the game usually after the new arena rotation (I might be wrong because Linus' and Julius' release date is making me doubt myself). If it makes you feel any better, they add the new GHB unit to the bonus unit rotation after the one where characters of their associated banner are from. Ty for the answer but I think it would be logic to make Linus a bonus unit immediatly for the coherence of the banner (Still, it's Ursula so I won't complain because some people wanted her again). Maybe overly restrictive to a degree, but options are always nice. Making it matter so much for score is pretty bad, though. I predict this will homogenize what blessing people care about in the Arenas to just water yet again, just like in the beginning—it's the most competitive season and too much of a pain to put such a large amount of resources toward the other ones. Earth might see some token effort, but it'll probably be a while before people invest in having that many strong, earth-blessed units. It would be better if the defense teams were somehow restricted to use blessings as well, since you now have to field your first ~60 units against the first 4 units of seven other players. Alexmender Posted June 13, 2018 Share Posted June 13, 2018 AA feels weird now. I got nothing but 724-726 matches and still ended with a score of 5,103, which should just not happen. The top score says 5,306 so this means inflation across the board. I don't know if I'll fall from top 10k now but having to play too much with blessings is too much of a hassle for me so I won't bother with that. Forgot to give you the defense win out of excitement, sorry. Usually I skip first matches below 724. @XRay @LordFrigid Completed my first deathless/7 in AA with the new Blessing system. It took me some tries, but I managed to get a score of 5,078 (incl. 22 of 28 possible "blessing score"). Thanks for your help again, my teams are better than I thought! My old highscore was 5,060 (even with 1 merge less on Cherche), so I don't think I'll come near top 5k again, but I also won't fall out of top 10k hopefully. I changed some things compared to what I wrote in the Ask/Help topic. Genny and Dorcas instead of PA!Azura got Water blessings, since already Inigo got Water. After two tries I decided to build an additional Wind team, since the Cav theme was easy to fill: Xander (green Tome breaker), Finn (Swordbreaker), BB!Marth and Clarine. I am swimming in defense wins anyways. I think 7 is the lowest amount of wins I got in a week recently. I am glad lots of players still make mistakes. That keeps my pony team in business. I am still stuck in the top 10,000 too for Arena Assault. I do not think I ever managed to get into top 5,000. Ah ok, I assumed you would get your wins. I remember your specialized defense teams in the past. Also this one is no joke, I think a dancer would make it even better. I consistently seem to score defense wins in tier 19 but in tier 20, I don't get any defense wins, even while using similar teams between the 2 weeks. Maybe people are more likely to give free pity wins to people in Tier 19. I know that when I'm done doing my Arena Assault, I always throw my 4th match when I've got my deathless streak. I'll usually give the win to a Tier 19 person, unless the Tier 20 is someone I recognize or has a funny name or Titania lead or something. Speaking of people I recognize, @Poimagic is this you? Things went pretty rough, thanks to water season without being able to deploy a water legendary (to no one's surprise, I'm sure). Tier 20 score of 3676 - #1795/6286 Arena Assault score of 5218 - #1288 Got spooked late Sat when I saw I was only 1000 places away from getting pushed out of Tier 20 with my dragons and Nino. So I finally broke the emergency glass and deployed my AA armours for a run (ran a team of Draug +10, Sheena +10, Nowi +10 and Flier!Nino—Gwendolyn ain't ready yet and is worth less points than even Tiki, so the trainee dragon stayed on). It was still really annoying, despite now having Armor March on Draug, but finishing the streak basically put me completely out of reach of falling out, so eh. With the last legendary banner eating nearly 300 orbs and giving me zero Fjorms, I've given up on competing for top 1000 in AA during water season. It just ain't happening. I'll have another crack at things once the legendary season flips again. I think my armours' time is virtually already past for AA, though, since Zelgius, Hardin and Grima laugh in the face of their point values. I guess at least they've more or less secured my ability to stay in Tier 20 (and AA Top 3000) almost indefinitely. Went back to tier 19, got kicked out of the top 5k although it seemed so close this time and got around 3 Def wins (a bit lower than usual but I guess Nephenee isn't that good in a defense team, I'll change her for Karla to see how much of a difference it makes).
