Yeah, in AA where my max score is 748, I met him all the time. No big deal though, I have enough specialists for green armors ready. One had an astonishing bulk though, +10 with Fortress DEF/RES and Fortress RES seal. Incidentally, I'd resolve my problem (for this week) if I just set aside the double Rallies and equipped Draw Back/Reposition, which I didn't think of til now. My best scoring units aren't especially threatened by Surtr, just that it's hard to weaken him for Fjorm, particularly if the other units are still alive. My problem is helping blue bonus units, because Firesweep Cordelia doesn't do much to Sutr & Co. Don't want to run Firesweep on M!Marth, though it'd be possible in contrast to Cherche. Some drawbacks: That would bring Cherches Dew count to 600 (she already learned ATK & special), she couldn't run hit&run (I appreciate that on Cordelia in arena) and it would lessen her buff/debuff potential (no support seal, no Panic special effect). Also I can't give her +6 SPD buff since I lack Hone Fliers on Cordelia and my only SPD Tactic fodder will go to Cherche eventually. Hitting 38 will generally be enough, accounting for neutral Spd, +10 merge bonus and +6 Spd from Tactic or Dual Rally+. Running the score calculator says three Abels with basic score skills + Alfonse can hit 724-738 range. While I score a bit higher it isn't uncommon for me to climb up with a 730 average before bonus kills are taken into account. Basically 3710 can get you up, though to be safe you'll want to have at least a 732 average(3720 has only failed me once I think). I suppose those numbers say ranged ponies won't score high enough, but otherwise the hard part is the bonus kills. And the fishing. I hate fishing. Unless you are talking about staying in 21. Kuroi Tsubasa Tenshi Posted December 7, 2018 Share Posted December 7, 2018 Water season with bonus Fjorm tends to inflate the general score level a rather noticeable amount, since everyone got a free one and blessing score bonus is not to be underestimated. That said, it's still possible to overcome the the inflated threshold with non-whale stuff. One has to either put up with using a budget armour core of three or Draug, Sheena, Gwendolyn and Effie; or have been lucky enough to have been building a core that is otherwise compatible with lucky single pulls of Duel-skill units, though. Probably a lot of people pushed for Surtr and thus not only have an extra bonus armor but maybe even more merges than normal due to the two person banner. My 3736 has me 700 places from staying in 21 right now, so I hadn't realized how inflated it was since I am usually 500-1000 away from staying in. Then again Surtr is inflating my score by just under ten points from last week if memory serves. So if everything is suffering a ten point inflation that 3728 may actually sound just about right. Though for me some of that is how easy it is for Surtr to get bonus kills. I didn't miss a single one this week, and I usually miss at least 2. 1 if I am lucky. That I could easily believe requires money to be poured. Surtr's spot as the new unit + Fjorm week = crushing inflation. This is with me with Hrid and +10 Fjorm. (3723 - I decided not to give Arena my all.) I only stayed 21 during Owain's seasons because I whaled on red in the hopes Saber would arrive as pitybreaker. Owain merges were more than welcome. I'm thinking this; Folkvangr (Res), Aether/Galeforce, Brazen Atk/Def, Renewal, Panic Ploy, Quick Riposte. Any ideas? I actually recorded the video halfway but then H!Myrrh/L!Tiki were a bit too good at killing things (I didn't want to underestimate your GF units). I was trying to get Fjorm to get one kill at least and half of the video was me trying to figure it out but I messed up since Cordelia was on a defense tile in the end heh. Also yeah, score inflation this week is pretty bad, maybe with the abundance of Surtrs + Fjorm and Water season. Congrats on top 3k for AA though!
