Apparently, Naga didn't want to screw with me anymore and actually lowballed only one of my AA matches in a frustrated attempt to end this day on a better note. I somehow managed a score of 5140.... holy..... Never been this high before, and I'm glad I have enough units to kill off the monsters up here. Also safely stayed in tier 20. Forgot to check for extra defense wins, but I think I ended up with 8 running Lucius, Raven, Mae, and Amelia. I was honestly surprised since I thought Amelia would hold the team back. She's not a bad unit, but I haven't given her anything special really... Not even a weapon refine. Gonna run the same team next season and hopefully get back to using Merric after that. He's the only member of my Arena core who hasn't hit 5k HM yet. As I suspected Ike isn't good for my defense team but I don't have anyone better so he'll stay until the next rotation. Edit: Guess I read wrong, this was my demotion week so it's tier 19 instead. I got an above average score last time out during an easy scoring week and still got demoted, so trying again during Water week is probably a futile endeavour. :\ My only chance would be merging all my Ikes and giving him a water blessing, but that doesn't seem worth it. And since it was a Earth-blessed week, I know I could do something. And with a score around 3514, I effectively succeed to do up to tier 20 again. I've been yoyoing now... So, the team... Spoiler So, yeah, big change. Ike is the Focus Unit, and since it was redundant to use Legendary Ike, I used Female Grima instead. Thanks to the blessings, I got around the same scores as before, but this week, it'll change again. Maybe I'll try something different since I'm 100% sure to go down to tier 19 again. Around this score, I start to met many +10 characters... And one of them stood out : Spoiler Damn. That's some pretty level of dedication. A Spring Alfonse, a Nephenee and a Siegbert (or a Valentine!Lilina) died for him to exist. 47 base speed is frightening. 29 Def even after L&D3 is quite good too. Won't be able to improve this run, since second-runs are a waste of my time if I fail, and I won't have time for FEH for the rest of the season due to travel plans. I dropped one spot since then, but being in the top 10 is a really cool achievement. I have plenty (580) of dueling crests to cherry-pick for only 754 scores to be rank #1, but I don't think I have the patience for it. Attempted an early AA run with the same water blessing boosted team as the lead, and a warp powder Zelgius gutted my 4* Artur that I use situationally on the 3rd map. I was able to squeeze out the win for the daily rewards, but I surrendered after that. With Armors and Fjorms everywhere, AA is providing a pretty decent challenge.
