Chapter 13: 6/16 Couldn't get Guy, oh well. Chapter 13x: 7/23 Rigging 50 something displayed hit attacks from Dorcas on the boss so I could feed him to Eliwood was an enthralling experience. Chapter 14: 6/29 Dorcas exactly OHKOed the Pegasus Knights, thank goodness. Chapter 15: 7/36 It happened. Got the Silver Axe for later. Chapter 16: 6/42 Dorcas carried Hector over the mountain. Chapter 17: 10/52 I wish I had a pony right about now. Chapter 17x: 3/55 Promoted Dorcas and had him walk over to Fargus. Chapter 18: 3/58 Dorcas did it guys. Chapter 19: 4/62 Dorcas had to hit Uhai twice with the Silver Axe at 41 displayed hit and not get crit by his Killing Edge and it sucked. Chapter 19x: 6/68 Dorcas can't double the boss, RIP 5 turn. Fed the boss to Hector instead because KENNETH'S MAP. Chapter 20: 5/73 Dorcas hammered the thwomp and Erk got the Brave Bow. Chapter 21: 3/76 Dorcas rescued Erk, got danced, and then dropped Erk ahead and Erk killed everything. Got the Elysian Whip. Chapter 22: 4/80 Dorcas killed the boss (probably the last time he's getting the bosskill tbh) and Erk got the Brave Axe and reached level 20. General Horace Posted March 3, 2017 Share Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) Yeah, put the .sav file in the same folder as the ROM, then just rename the .sav file (the file you downloaded) the same name as the rom. Just like this: https://i.gyazo.com/a6725775b5c310906d18dcb29911f00a.png Some versions of VBA have a different save type (you'll see your previous save in the folder) so you may need to change the file type to match (I think some vba's use .sa1 files instead of .sav files, so just right click the .sav file and rename it fe7.sav => fe7.sa1 or whatever filetype your emulator uses. I don't think any versions of vba have a seperate saves folder, but if they do, put the save file in there instead. Rebecca + Eliwood barely managed to kill the bottom dudes in time, they're so bad. Chapter 12 - 4/10 Hector only needs 9AS to double the boss. Mine only had 8AS but I found a crit. Lower half was easy to clear with Lowen, Bartre, and Eliwood. Chapter 13 - 5/15 Lowen drops Hector on the river tile 9 spaces from the gate on turn 2. Hector engages Bois on turn 4 PP and kills on EP. Guy recruited for his stuff. Chapter 13x - 7/22 The 1st of way too many defend maps. Mucho Exp gained. Saved the village for the 5000g. Would have routed all of the enemies, but a nomad trooper ran for a fort on the last EP instead of attacking. Chapter 14 - 4/26 After a few failed attempts, I realized that by not deploying Merlinus I could have Bartre help Eliwood clear Lowen's path on turn 2 where Lowen dropped Hector ahead. Hector was 1 Str short of 1HKOing Erik which was ok because Erik went after Lowen anyways. Eliwood handled the south and Bartre cleaned up the soldiers from the beginning. Thankfully Eliwood did significantly more and I was able to warp him instead of Florina since Canas is really magic blessed. WIL REBECCA A SUPPORT WE DID IT BOYS. Wil also promoted with the earth seal. CHAPTER 32X - 1/139 TURNS My team is pretty anemic tbh. Warped Hawkeye to killer crit kishuna. CHAPTER FINAL PART 1 - 2/141 TURNS Needed Filla's might to take out Ursula on turn 1 with Brave Lance Marcus. Athos was needed to kill Darin, so Hawkeye swordslayer'd the Reed bros. Rebecca brave bow'd Uhai and had 34 crit thanks to WIL A SUPPORT. Eliwood killed Brendan and his goon and Canas warped Hector up to help Florina with Kenneth's room, then warped Athos to Nergal. CHAPTER FINAL PART 2 - 1/142 TURNS Athos killed the dragon. TEAM ANALYSIS Hector was pretty slow all game, but he still did his job alright. After a really bad start, Eliwood turned things around in a big way. Too good in drafts to have free imo Florina plz She even promtoed at level 19 so it's not like she was even an early promotion. Lost 2 turns due to anemic strength or speed (the speed fixed itself a ton post promotion) Wil's stats were SO BAD until level 15 or so where he rattled off like 4 6 statters in a row or something. Honestly forgot that there's only one Orion's Bolt that you can get in drafts, so he sat at level 20 unpromoted for like 10 chapters. Probably should have picked Jaffar, but honestly the difference was negligible, and then I wouldn't have got the amazing WIL X REBECCA A SUPPORT god there are really that many defence maps in this game. Hawkeye saved a turn in chapter 25, which is basically why I picked him. Thanks bro. He turned out pretty well too I think. Marcus is still pretty great joining at the same time as Isadora, turns out. Saved a turn in 25 and would have saved one in 29 if Florina didnt blow chunks. Rebecca turned out to be pretty useful. Did the Lloyd killing thing with the brave bow and had great stats to contribute in final. If she was a little less speed screwed could have even saved one more turn in Oleg's map. For an early game archer, actually has a lot of utility. Oswin a cute rescue drop in chapter 14 but was otherwise pretty useless. Helped train Rebecca I guess since his speed was so bad. Could have picked someone else I think. Canas turned out very well, thankfully. Did lategame warping and had generally good combat. Reached A Staves easily even without the torch staff or barrier staff, which is pretty funny. EDIT: For some reason the pictures didn't embed, I blame the awful new sf ui. Too lazy to recapture. Chapter 16 - 5/38 Lowen and Pris drop Hector on the mountain and then Bartre rescues Lowen on turn 1. Bartre gives Lowen to Hector who moves off the mountains and drops Lowen ahead on turn 2. Turn 3 Hector clears an enemy and Lowen rescues him on the way to the castle. Turn 4 Lowen drops Hector in front of the boss and he dies on the EP. Turn 5 seize. Free Kent and Wil distracted some enemies in the middle to help make sure Lowen's path was as clear as possible. Wil died in the process. Sain actually visited the village on the far left and Lyn got the one in the south. Chapter 17 - 8/46 Recruited Raven for his sword, and so he would stop stabbing Priscilla. Got the Hero Crest, Knight Crest, and Unlock Staff. Could have 7 turned it but I would have had to skip the Knights Crest. And I could have actually 7 turned it with the Knights Crest, but Bartre would have needed 1 more point of strength to 1RKO the knight in the treasure room with a hand axe. And I would have missed out on the Unlock Staff plus a couple staff swing for Priscilla. Chapter 17x - 3/49 OMG, Lowen. For his final 3 levels to reach LV20 he gained Spd all 3 times, and it was all on the EP. Capped HP and Spd. LOL. Eliwood kill Damien and I let Fargus talk to me on the EP to let Eliwood kill one more enemy. Got Canas, Devil axe, Short Bow, and Sleep Staff. Priscilla had to skip a staff swing in order to get the Sleep staff, but it gives a whopping 35exp per swing so it will be well worth it. Chapter 19 - 4/55 People broke snags to let Lowen rush to Uhai. Killed him with the Silver lance. Chapter 19x - 4/59 Pris and Lowen rescue drops got Hector to the fort on turn 2 which allowed him to run to the gate on turns 3 and 4. Lowen killed Aias on turn 3 before Kishuna showed up and he was able to get a kill on one of the Snipers on turn 4 for some nice Exp. Bartre went and got the Goddess Icon from the village. Hector got a perfect level along the way. Chapter 20 - 5/64 Could have easily 4-turned it but I had to wait a turn to let Legault come to me. Lyn recruited him and he stole the member card right before Hector seized. Chapter 21 - 1/65 Ugh, this feels dirty. I was planning on a 2-turn clear, but Hector got a 3% crit. I literally checked my odds for the 1-turn, and told myself I wouldn't fish for a 3% cause it was too low. Then it ended up happening when I did my test run. I was going to get some staff spam Exp with Pris and even planned out a strat to steal the Hero Crest from Oleg with the 2-turn clear because I thought I needed it. Turns out I got the Hero Crest from earlier so I'm just going to take the clear.
