Even though there weren't enough units for everyone to have an 11th round of drafting, nobody's prolly gonna recruit their 10th/11th picks anyways so it's probably fine.

also I've been playing ever since I picked Roger so here's a progress dump.

Chapter 1 (9/9): Shoulda drafted Gordin. Caeda shops. Jagen is a boss. Cain needs to dodge one ~70 disp. hit axe at some point to not die, and Jagen needs to land back-to-back Silver Lance hits on the boss with chip from Cain. It’s sketchy as fuck but it worked. Wrys’ village got blown up by the Thief. Cain also gained 1 Str/Def and 2 Speed here so I’m not complaining.

Chapter 2 (6/15): Oh hey I have actual units now. Shame one of them has ASS speed growth and the other has ASS Axe rank. Bord/Cord axe things, Bord Steel Axe crits a Cav which probably mattered a lot, and Abel hits the save. Ogma hands Cain his Steel Sword and he can 2HKO Pirates so that’s neato. Dudes charge left, Barst and Ogma stay behind to heroically sacrifice themselves. Castor is recruited and immediately sacked. Jagen and Cain tag team the boss with Iron Sword and x2 Silver Lance hits.

Chapter 3 (7/22): Marth got the Devil Axe and after a couple Steel Sword chips from Cain and Jagen, Bord used it to off Hyman. Sacked Navarre for his Killing Edge, Cain is almost at C swords (should probably focus on his Lance rank…)

Chapter 4 (7/29): Cord went Hunter, Jagen to Draco, Bord went Pirate to cross the river and Devil Axe a Horseman. Went left and up. Recruited Merric to get Wendell and for Excalibur. Draug died after hitting the first save point. Jagen chips the boss with Javelin and then Cain goes for a KE crit.

Chapter 5 (4/33): Cord went Pirate to help Marth cross to the left. It turned out to be unnecessary due to how the enemy movement worked out. Cain stayed behind and trained up on the cavs, simultaneously luring Wendell down to be recruited. Matthis helped. Hardin and his squad moved to the left to lure enemies away from Marth’s gang, and a few of them predictably perished. Took down the boss with Jagen’s Silver Lance + Bord’s Hammer.

Chapter 6 (8/41): Cord back to Hunter, Jagen to Paladin. A bunch of people died bodyblocking the Cavs at the start. Managed to get every treasure except the Killing Edge. Convoydropped the Armorslayer so Cain could fight the boss, but was one damage short of ORKOing, so it took a bit to clear out the throne room safely.

Chapter 6x (20 Free): Bord and Cord were Mercs, Matthis an Archer. Trained people up and got Cain’s Lance rank to D. 

Chapter 7 (6/47): Move down, cover forts. Cord shoots things, Bord swords things, Cain Armorslayers the boss with Silver Lance!Jagen chip.

Chapter 8 (5/52): Cain rushes ahead and KOs the boss with the Armorslayer connecting 2/3 hits over Turn 4 EP and Turn 5 PP. Everybody else tries not to die and kill as many Horsemen as possible. Recruited Roger so Caeda dies for the cause. Wolf as a General just sits around unarmed soaking hits, other dudes went shopping.

Chapter 9 (5/57): Cain ORKO’s the boss with a KE crit, Radd grabs the bullion with keys, and everyone else just kinda clears the way. Jagen does a cool thing where he lures pirates over the water as a Dracoknight, I guess? Bord is pretty good on Speed right now, I haven’t even rigged that much for it so that’s cool.

Chapter 10 (8/65): Go left and up. My mounts (and Bord) take care of the Cavs, Cain ORKOs the boss, the rest go get the Master Seal. I have someone bodyblock the thief from leaving out the front so I can catch him in the back after taking care of the Hero. Cord, Roger, Wendell, and some scrubs go deal with the dracoknights and get the Hautclere. Bought some stuff.

Chapter 11 (9/74): Promoted Cain at Lv 14 and he went Dracoknight, he’s pretty much ORKOing from now ‘till the end of the game. Had him fly up and kill everything that tried to touch him near the boss. Marth took a leisurely stroll, Radd, Cord, and Matthis both went to fight all the mercenaries in the town area. Ended up fully routing the map.

Chapter 12 (7/81): Radd to Archer, Cain to Paladin. Cain just kinda charged forward with my other horses and killed everything. Got treasure. I don’t remember if Boots actually save the turn they cost to get them, pretty sure they do? Too late anyways, already got ‘em.

Chapter 12x (15 Free): Training. Yup. Cain's almost to D Axes and Radd got D Lances so he’s no longer completely incompetent (he’s actually got good Def, he just sucks at offense right now). Not sure when I’ll promote my dudes right now, I’ll figure it out eventually. Dolph didn’t gain any Magic yet :(

Let's do this thing.

Chapter 1: Cancer/6

The boss is cancer. No mid-chapter save means if Jeigan or Caeda misses I had to redo the whole thing. Needless to say that happened a lot.

5 Turns was possible, but Jeigan would have died from the boss + a pirate on Turn 5 unless he dodged so I had to spend an extra turn on the Fort to get him enough health back.

But then Jeigan dodged anyway. This was actually great because it meant I could feed the boss to Caeda instead, and she could use the Wing Spear for better hit than the Javelin she would have otherwise used. Jeigan was supposed to get the bosskill because he gets 2HKOed by the boss and couldn't normally attack the boss before Caeda, but shrug.

Chapter 2: 6/12

Darros get. He chipped some stuff. There wasn't anyway to get him a level up without exposing him to too many pirates though. Bosskill sucked, but at least I didn't have to redo the entire every time the bosskill went wrong like last chapter. Bosskill is Steel Sword!Jeigan + Iron Sword!Marth on Turn 5 (they have to dodge an attack from the boss either on player phase or enemy phase to live), chip from either Marth or Jeigan on enemy phase, doesn't matter who, and then a Silver lance from Jeigan followed by 2 Wing Spears from Caeda to finish him off. Caeda got a crit on the 1st hit though, which saved a Wing Spear use.

Undrafted Scrub Deaths: Every Undrafted unit except Barst is dead. Barst should have died but somehow he dodged like every single hit except for one.

Chapter 3: Hyman/20

7 Turns was theoretically possible, but Julian would have need to dodge a 42 displayed hit Hand Axe and hit the boss, followed by Jeigan hitting the boss with the Silver Lance and dodging a 72 displayed hit attack, finished off by Darros hitting the boss at 69 hit with the Devil Axe. Needless to say, I took an extra turn for reliability. It also let me feed Caeda a thief to get her another level up and recruit Navarre for his Killing Edge that no one can use. Darros isn't really that great, but he's actually really clutch because he could OHKO archers with the Devil Axe and 2HKOs anything else, and since no one can double except Caeda the extra person to deal chip is really necessary at times.

Also @Finalinsanity, your turncount is off by 1 turn. You added 6 turns for Chapter 3 instead of 7.

Chapter 4: 7/27

Go left and up. Couldn't get Merric because Marth needed to kill the Knight blocking the bridge so that Jeigan could chip a Horseman. Caeda killed the boss.

Chapter 5: 5/32

Chapter 6: 7/39

Reclassed Wolf to Hero to start building up his Axe rank. Darros reclassed to Fighter, but that didn't impact anything. I was just paranoid about Darros getting doubled, but all the enemies on this map aren't very fast except the thieves.

Kind of had to slow down a bit because people would die if they rushed too far ahead. Even with that I still needed Caeda to dodge 2 Steel Bow Archers during the chapter because she really needed to move down far enough to kill stuff on the next turn. Got everything except the Killing Edge. The thief that stole the Angelic Robe needed to move to a certain tile on the next turn so that Darros could reach it, which was kind of annoying. Caeda exactly 2HKOed the boss with the Wing Spear, which was nice, but not really necessary since Jeigan could have chipped the boss for her if I needed to. Instead Jeigan chipped an archer to feed it to Julian, because Julian was the only one who could reach it besides Marth.

Undrafted Scrub Deaths: Everyone except Hardin is dead.

Reclassed Caeda to Myrmidon and Jeigan to Sage. Gave Caeda the Angelic Robe.

Built weapon ranks. Darros now has C Axes, Julian has D Swords, Marth has C Swords, Wolf has D Axes, and Jeigan has D Staves.

Chapter 7: 6/45

Reclassed Darros to Hunter.

Went down, covered forts. Darros just barely was able to OHKO the Pegasus Knights with an Iron Bow. The Wing Spear has 1 use left, good thing I can buy them next chapter.

Chapter 8: 5/50

Reclassed Wolf to MASTER THWOMP.

Wolf CHOKED DA POINT and let Marth and co. sneak past without much trouble. Got the 2nd Wing Spear for Caeda.

Chapter 9: 5/55

Reclassed Wolf to Berserker and Jeigan to Wyvern Lord.

Dudes went across the water and killed some stuff. Jeigan chipped the boss on Turn 3 enemy phase before chipping him with a Javelin (or Wolf chipping with a Hand Axe if Jeigan misses the Javelin) before Caeda finishes off the boss with a Steel Lance.

Chapter 10: 8/63

Gdi, Marth is 1 tile short of Seizing on Turn 7 rage.

Reclassed Wolf to Hero and Darros to Hunter.

Meatshields went up, everyone important went left. All the flying units went towards the meatshields so the path to the throne was pretty uneventful. Jeigan killed the Hero and got the Master Seal. Wolf chipped the Sniper from across the wall and then Darros killed it to get the Silver Bow. Caeda got the Levin Sword from the thief after killing the boss. Julian... killed a cleric.

Undrafted Scrub Deaths: All of them. It was a massacre.

Chapter 11: 10/73

Promoted Caeda. She murdered like 75% of the map and recruited Jake, who chipped the Manakete so that Caeda could kill him for the Energy Drop. Got the Spirit Dust too. Darros, Wolf, and Julian all went to the Arena since that area near the throne was already cleared out of enemies.

Chapter 12: 7/80

Reclassed Jeigan to Swordmaster so he could kill thwomps with the Armorslayer.

Took an extra turn to get the boots. Dudes rushed while Darros and Jake hung back and killed the thieves and reinforcements. Julian got the 20,000 gold, Arms Scroll, and Dragon Pike chests while Caeda murdered the boss and all of the cavaliers coming from the boots chest area and capped speed before getting the boots. Wolf got to C Axes as a Hero.

Chapter 12x: Free/80

Sage!Jeigan is back. He and Boah healed dudes. Darros went Hunter and got his last level before promotion. Marth got a couple kills.

Chapter 13: 3/83

Reclassed Caeda to Paladin. Promoted Darros and reclassed him to Hero. Jeigan went back to Paladin. Marth got the boots.

Marth isn't 1 tile short of reaching the throne this time, rejoice! The Paladins and Heroes rushed forward and got rid of ballistae in Marth's way (and Astram too) while Horace and Julian got the Hoisteflame while being healed by Boah. Boss was super easy and was killed by 2 x Silver lance from Jeigan and 2 x Steel Lance from Caeda.

Chapter 14: 6/89

Darros and Wolf to Berserker, Jeigan and Caeda to Wyvern Lord.

Darros and Wolf kill the thwomps at the start so Caeda and Jeigan can move further while Julian and Marth slowly wade through the water over to the other side. Horace just kills some archers from across the wall while Boah heals generics.

Had Marcus chip the boss with the Silver lance so that Caeda could use a Steel lance to finish off the boss instead of using her Wing Spear.

Chapter 13 (3/84): Cain and Jagen to Paladin. The only good thing about this map is that it’s the start of where the game plays For Liberty. Killer Lance crit the boss with Cain, killed the Thieves, Astram suicided on Cain.

Chapter 14 (6/90): Cain goes Draco and rushes in, hits D axes, and uses a Steel Axe + Iron Axe to 2RKO the boss on EP and PP through Fortify. Matthis and Jagen head to the southeast to nab the Silver Card. Bought a bunch of half-price Ridersbane and Silver Lances.

Chapter 15 (5/95): Cain does his stuff while everyone else deals with the dracoknights. Generics bodyblock Gharnef. 

Chapter 16 (6/101): Initially 7 turns, but I realized I could afford to fullmove Marth every turn if I promoted Cord to Horseman. This let him keep up with Cain and Matthis to help clear Marth's path. Promoted Matthis for Dracoknight. His’ survival is a bit sketchy since he has to live through two Horsemen and like 5 Cavs on Turn 3, but it’s manageable (the two Horsemen combined can't KO without the Cavs). Bosskill just has Cain and Matthis ganging up on him with Steel Axe and Silver Lance respectively.

Chapter 17 (3/104): Matthis went Swordmaster and took the Energy Drop so he could Wyrmslayer the boss without having to proc Str on level-up. Cord went Warrior. Cain went Paladin, he and Bord went to the left to kill dudes and grab the Master Seal chest (4 Master Keys remaining + Door Keys is enough for what I want in Chapter 19), kinda sucked because whether or not Cain could reach it depended on AI movement RNG. Everybody else concentrated their efforts on the right side, including getting the VIP Card and Fortify staff.

My ultimate goal for this draft right now is for Dolph to wield EXCALIBUR and do something important with it. We'll see how that works out.

Chapter 15: 5/94

Reclassed Horace to Sorcerer for those sweet 10 HP heals. Wolf and Darros went back to Hero.

Marth walked, Caeda and Jeigan got rid of stuff in his way. Everyone else self-improved. Gharnef killed a bunch of generics.

Chapter 16: 7/101

Horace back to General.

Xane cost a turn, oh well. Sacked a bunch of generics to bait the Wyverns over so that my dudes could kill them. Horace then stood on a piece of land in range of all of the Horseman and slowly killed them all off with Jake's help so that they wouldn't get in Marth's way later on. Killed the boss with 2 x Iron Axe from Caeda, followed up by 2 x Steel Axe from Darros and 2 x Iron Axe from Caeda on the next turn.

Chapter 17: 3/104

Reclassed Caeda to Paladin so the Sniper wouldn't kill her and Horace to Horseman to reach the Bishop with the VIP Card on Turn 1. Gave Caeda the Dracoshield from last chapter.

Marth opened the door and Caeda went up and killed a mage with a Javelin. Horace killed the VIP Card!Bishop and sent it to the convoy. Jeigan got it from Marth. Jake chips the Thief that goes after the Devil Sword chest so I can kill him next turn.

A Bunch of stuff dies on enemy phase. Turn 2, Jake gets the Devil Sword, Wolf chips a Manakete to reach C Swords as a Hero, Marth crit-blicks the Swarm!Sage with a Killing Edge for a level-up, and Caeda easily kills the boss with the Dragon Pike.

Turn 3, Jeigan gets some Killer Weapons and some Poleaxes from the secret shop before Marth seizes.

Jeigan. Sage. C Staves. Marth feeding. Boah B Staves. Caeda D Swords. Darros D Bows. Dead Etzel. Marth kills boss for lols.

Chapter 18: 6/110

Gdi why do they keep putting the throne 1 tile too far away to seize a turn earlier? It's infuriating.

Anyway, Caeda went back to Wyvern Lord and murdered everything. Wolf went to the arena. Marth crit a Paladin with the Rapier and got a luck only level. Fun times. 

Chapter 19: 5/115

Horace to Horseman again just for the extra move to reach a chest. Gave Caeda the Energy Drop I've had for like forever to max out her strength.

Julian got the Geosphere and Angelic Robe, while Xane cosplayed as Julian to get the 30,000 gold and the Bolganone. Horace got the Speedwing, and then trade-chained the Master Key to Jeigan so he could get the Starsphere. Caeda got the Lightsphere and generally wrecked everything. Performed some super amazing AI MANIPULATION by giving Marth a Levin Sword and a Pure Water so that mages would suicide on Caeda instead. RIP Tiki.

Chapter 20: 5/120

Darros and Wolf to Berserker. Horace to General. Gave Caeda the Angelic Robe, Horace got a Speedwing so that he wouldn't get doubled by Paladins, and Marth got the Spirit Dust so he could team up with Darros to kill a General and with Jeigan to kill a Ballistician.

Wolf, Darros, and Marth kill the General near the start across the water. Horace moves to tank the Paladins near the Hoisteflame guy. Caeda kills the Ballistician near the Generals after Xane copies her.

People kill the Paladins approaching from up top (Marth got RESISTANCE), Horace moves back to get healed by Boah and a bunch of generics get wrecked by the Paladins. Caeda moves over and kills Camus to get the Gradivus. Next turn Marth and Jeigan kill the Pachyderm guy and Caeda kills Lorenz. Everyone else just kills Paladins for exp at this point. Then on the last turn, Xane kills the thief for his Devil Sword, Julian goes to the Arena because he's got nothing else to do, and Marth seizes.

Chapter 20x: Free/120

Jeigan reached B Staves, Boah reached A Staves, Caeda reached C Axes. Got all of the treasure.

Chapter 21: 3/123

Caeda murdered all of the Paladins with Gradivus, then other dudes cleaned up the scraps for exp. Got everything from the secret shop.

Chapter 22: 7/130

Caeda murders most of the map again, maxing out her level in the process. I fed the boss to Wolf with help from Jake and GRADIVUS!JEIGAN since Wolf can actually get exp from killing the boss. Marth got his obligatory 1 kill per map.

I dun goofed on my Ch 12 TC according to the epilogue, so I went back and fixed my posts to reflect the correct number.

Chapter 17x (20 Free): Training. Nothing too special. Promoted Bord because he hasn’t been contributing as much lately. Radd got C lances just in time for Horse Bridge.

Chapter 18 (6/110): Cain and Matthis started by luring the Horsemen to them over the water. Everybody else just scrambled to help Marth get to the throne. I got insanely lucky with Marth dodging a lot of shit towards the bottom of the map. Probably didn’t need to if I gave him some statboosters, nobody else really needs them right now, but I’ll take it.

Chapter 19 (5/115): Promoted Radd since there’s not much game left and he could use the boost, mostly to Move and Lance WEXP. Grabbed Lightsphere and the Starsphere after a Thief nabbed it, and used my last 4 Master Keys to grab the Bullion, Seraph Robe, Geosphere, and Speedwings.

Chapter 20 (5/120): Promoted Dolph because there’s no time like the present. He can actually use Bolganone without AS loss! Fear his mighty 6 Magic! Also Cain ORKO’d Camus with a Silver Lance or something. He still doesn’t have A Lances though (yes i have an Arms Scroll still, shush)… which means…

Chapter 20x (13 Free): After a bit more free EXP...

Chapter 21 (3/123): GRADIVUS MATTHIS: DEPLOYED. STAT BOOSTERS: BOUGHT.

Chapter 22 (7/130): Hey you know who doesn’t have enough stats? That’s right. Scrub Marth. So he chugs a Seraph Robe and Speedwing to not die horribly.

Chapter 23 (7/137): Marth is still a scrub and has to crit a Hero on Turn 6 EP to not die. Thankfully he actually has Killing Edge access. Decided to just dump my 4 Spirit Dusts on Wendell so he could Fortify better.

Chapter 24 (4/141): Matthis Gradivus’d dragons. Radd and Cain are helping! Jagen is buying things!

Chapter 24x (17 Free): Matthis capped his level last map so I just fed him a Speedwings as a Paladin to cap that out. Then he handed his juggernauting gear to Radd for shits ‘n giggles. Looks like Dolph won’t be using Excalibur for anything useful :(

Endgame (4/145): Matthis as a Paladin, before additional boosters, had 56 HP, 24 Str, 17 Skl, 25* Spe, 9 Luk, 22 Def, and 7 Res. That was entirely not enough green numbers, so I just slammed as many boosters as I could onto him to cap his Str, HP, and Def too. And all his other stats as high as possible. Matthis Gradivus’d the final chapter, is what I’m saying. Also pumped some stuff into Radd so he could help alongside Cain.

Didn't hit the 133 turncount, shit run quit forever.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Marf: Needed boosters in order to not die from a papercut. God damn it Marf.

Jagen: Did Jagen things.

Cain: He capped speed as a Draco in like, Chapter 14 or something.

Bord: Hammer and Devil Axe were pretty cool earlygame. Eventually became unimportant.

Cord: Having a Horseman was cool, but he was never a core member of the front lines. He was pretty invaluable overall though.

Matthis: Legit one of my favorite units to use, I'm glad I was able to get him to the god-status he deserved, even without insane boosters.

Radd: He was actually lowkey godlike, especially once he hit Ridersbane access.

Wendell: Magic Dragon Pope never really fulfilled the Dragon part of his title, but was all the same a worthy choice.

Dolph: Dark Mage Dolph was mostly just a joke, but it turned out having the solid chip on Knights and other physically bulky units was actually pretty clutch in a lot of situations. Never really did anything important past midgame though.

Macellan & Roger: Did essentially nothing and didn't even get deployed past Ch 17.

Countless Meatshields: Your sacrifices were not in vain.

Chapter 23: Pure Water/137

Yeah. Wolf went right to kill all the dudes over there along with one of the fake Gharnefs for a bunch of exp while everyone else went to the throne. Except Julian who got the chests of course. Caeda couldn't double the fake Gharnef somehow even though it said she could, but that was fine. It let me feed the fake Gharnef to MARTH. Fed the boss to Darros because, er, he was in range and hadn't capped exp like Caeda. Xane imitated Jake and they shot Swarm Bishops.

Chapter 24: 4/141

Wolf and Marth walk over the mountain while Caeda clears stuff out for them. Jake and Xane shoot stuff for exp. Jeigan got all of the stat boosters from the secret shop. Wolf reached Level 20 by killing the boss.

Chapter 24x: Free/141

Gave Caeda an Angelic Robe, a Secret Book, 3 Dracoshields, and 4 Talismans. Marth got 4 Speedwings and 4 Goddess Icons. Jake got 3 Energy Drops and 2 Secret Books. Boah got 3 Spirit Dusts.

Fed a bunch of kills to Marth for the hell of it. Got Wolf to A Axes as a Hero and Horace to B Bows as a Horseman. Jake got a ton of exp from killing stuff. I also forgot that Arms Scrolls can't be used to increase Staff Rank in this game, so I had to go extremely out of my way to just barely get Jeigan to A Staves on his own.

The End: 4/145

Gave Horace an Arms Scroll so he could use Parthia. Gave Boah the last Angelic Robe so that he can survive two Geospheres. I had 3 leftover Arms Scrolls that no one needed, so I gave 1 to Marth and the other 2 to Julian to get them to A Swords for the lols.

Darros used the Geosphere, followed by a Fortify from Boah, followed by Ymir using the Geosphere, followed by a Fortify from Jeigan.

After that killed the healers near Medeus, Julius opened the door near Marth and Caeda went out and killed a Paladin. Horace killed a Ballistician and Jake killed a Bishop. Xane copied Jake.

The next few turns involve dudes killing enemies so they don't get killed on enemy phase. I use the Geosphere a third time to kill off some Swarm Bishops. Jeigan and Boah continued to heal everyone with Fortify each turn. The final level up of the run was Jeigan getting an empty level.

On the last turn, Caeda went down and OHKOed Medeus with a Gradivus crit.

Character Review:

Marth: His offence was shit for a long time, but at least he proced a bunch of defense early on which made things a bit easier. Stuffed him full of stat boosters and exp in 24x which somehow turned him into my 3rd best combat unit in Endgame. He also proced resistance off of a 2% growth!

Jeigan: The man, the myth, the legend. 10 move and Lances is good. His stats remained useful enough to contribute throughout the game. Having a second Fortify user in Endgame was WORTH IT. Also, he got this level:

Caeda: Flying goddess of death. Like 90% of the bosses in this game are weak to the Wing Spear, it's crazy. Fixed her durability by stuffing her full of Dracoshields and Angelic Robes. Basically curbstomped the whole game. Is bae.

Darros: Actually not as bad as I was expecting. Having the extra manpower early game was definitely needed. He doubled pretty much nothing ever except for thwomps after promotion, and even then he had to be a Hero to even do that. But he had a ton of strength, so he could OHKO frail dudes. Better than Cord would have been/10.

Julian: I thought taking him over Roshe/Vyland might have been a mistake, and it still might have been, but he was definitely useful. Thief utility was super helpful in several chapters, Chapter 19 especially. Got A Swords for lols because of excess Arms Scrolls.

Wolf: His start was kind of mediocre. He was kind of comparable to Darros for a while before his growths really kicked in (he and Darros after promoting were basically the same unit except for Wolf's +5 speed at that point). Those crazy growth rates turned him into my 2nd best combat unit eventually, although he wished that he had a 10 move class like Caeda to make better use of his stats. Was still really good and a very fun unit to use. Shame he never got to make use of reaching A Axes.

Jake: Was kind of just there early on, but as the game progressed his unique contributions became more meaningful. The extra chip was really helpful for bulkier enemies later on, and he could OHKO fliers and mages late game thanks to that Energy Drop stuffing. Also his bulk actually came in handy during Endgame since it let him survived being doubled by a Silver Sword!Hero.

Boah: Da other Pope pretty much exclusively used staves his entire existence, which was fine with me. Fortify is always nice to have in later chapters.

Horace: Was kind of filler, but he had a few meaningful contributions. Killing the Horsemen in Xane's chapter was probably the biggest one. Got a few Speedwings and thwomped some stuff a few times before abandoning all notion of being a tank in favor of being a super frail Horseman that could wreck squishy stuff with Bows. Or wreck everything with Bows as far as Endgame goes.

Xane: Cost a turn. I don't think he actually saved any turns, but he did improve reliability in some cases by being able to team up with Jake to kill a Swarm dude from across the map, or cosplaying as Caeda to OHKO ponies. Cosplaying as Julian was super helpful in Chapter 19 I will say.

Ymir: Did literally nothing.

Nagi: Killed one thing in Endgame.
