The DanMan
So, with SoV on the horizon I've predictably begun looking into the original Gaiden some more. Since the game has infamously low growth rates all-around (I believe I once saw somebody dub Gunter from Fates "Mr. Gaiden Growths"), I've been looking at them out of curiosity, and I've found something quite... confusing. More specifically, the class growth rates. SF and both wikis list all classes as having the same growth rates: https://serenesforest.net/gaiden/classes/growth-rates/ What I'm wondering is: how do these factor with the unit's growth rates? Because adding them together results in moderate to high growths all-round-- which makes no sense, because from everything I've heard and seen gaining more than one or two stats upon level up is pretty rare. What am I missing here? Edited March 18, 2017 by The DanMan
Tryhard
class growths aren't used for playable units They might be used for levelling enemies, but I'm not even sure of that.
Azz
It's entirely possible that they do nothing. Unless they are used for enemy stats, I honestly have no idea, because adding them to actual character stats makes no sense when it comes to the average level in Gaiden. So it's basically just throwaway? That... really explains a lot.
