Junkhead
This is something that spiked my curiousity. I thought I was seeing things, but it turns out that the display number did drop from 3.2GHz to 2.2GHz after I installed Windows. I take it a whole extra digit makes hell of a difference, mm? With that said, I've also read (and please correct me on this) that it could be the computer's way of regulating tempatures, fan speed and the like. Anyone more aware on the subject, please weigh in. Seti
CPU throttling maybe? A CPU will throttle itself down when not doing anything intensive to save power.
Junkhead
Pretty sure I've heard that a couple of times. "Intel Turbo Boost", or something?
