Captain Karnage
so with casual mode and time reversal being a thing now, do you think they removed the feature. because I'm going to miss reviving characters on an opposite party
KliffIsTheOG
I bet it's still there, but I also think that they will have fixed the party switch oversight
Ertrick36
I'll wait and see. They were far enough in the game and few enough that it might not be something they'd care to advertise. Like, "Hey, here are these shrines deep in a few dangerous dungeons you can use to revive, like, three people!" I do know that in Shadow Dragon and New Mystery, you still get the Aum staff, yet I highly doubt they advertised it. Heck, you even get it in Fates, though in that it's called "Bifrost" and its use is severely limited compared to the Aum staff and resurrection shrines. The Fir Coat
Really you would just use it to send Silque to Cilica's party for the swamp maps. If you played with revival the game became rather easy. Also IIRC dead characters would stay "dead" as far as the story goes even if you brought them back to life. So you're basically reviving them as zombies and forcing them to keep fighting?

Well, that puts a damper on any and all socialisation elements the developers may or may not have added.
Interdimensional Observer
One of the revival Lion Heads also offers stat boosts. Even with Casual, they could keep the revival lion heads, just give the two mono-revival ones stat boosts/experience as well. And I think they might get rid of the revival character team transfer thing. Seeing how it would be something Classic players could do that Casuals couldn't. Though turning revival into "warp" could work too.
Tolvir
It could be something they are keeping quiet. Games tend to keep a few things quiet before release. It may be on a much more limited basis though, more along the lines of the Bifrost staff in Fates (only available once). bufkus
wouldn't surprise me if they removed it. aren't you supposed to make offerings to them now for buffs instead? or did i misread that article...
The DanMan
"Do you think revival shrines are gone", is the correct title. And yes. With the inclusion of casual mode, I think they've gotten the axe.
Pikappa93
I honestly don't know. They're keeping every mechanic from the original Gaiden so I would say yes, why not. Unless Mila's Turnwheel is considered as some sort of replacement for Revival Shrines, that's also possible.

They always provided buffs. Rviving was just a rare alternate that some shrines provide.
Azz
TBH, I kind of hope they are gone since that means we get more stat boosts. Plus, casual mode, Mila's Turnwheel and just resetting makes them pointless.
Aggro Incarnate
I hope they're not gone because it removes a strategic aspect of the game where you call intentionally kill off units to revive them on the other party. For instance doing this with Silque gives you very good Warp availability for most of the game.
flare9
Anyone who know if this is gone or present? Might be cool to use it to switch characters between teams

Xanek
They're still there. I've encountered 2 as of right now, 1 on celica's path and 1 on alm's, I assume they're same space as in Gaiden, idk, never played gaiden. I haven't used one because i've been mila's wheel/soft resetting each time.

It doesn't work for everyone though. Lukas, Gray and Tobin are mandatory, other characters like Kliff and Faye are skippable.
