I drew Kliff based on his sprite. Here's how it turned out

It's pretty amazing how they utilized so few colors. For example, the shadow on his face is the same color as: The collar of his shirt, the band around his sleeve, the collar of his other shirt, the shine of his hair, and the embroidery of his shoulder pad.

Looks like what you'd use for like a remaster, kinda reminds me of Phantasy Star for some reason, the shading? But still good ol derpy Kliff.

It's pretty great!  Pretty much the only thing I'd advice is using thicker lines for the mouth.

Very impressive. I really like how true you stayed to the original design.

I'm starting to wish you were the character artist for Fire Emblem Echoes. And I'm actually quite serious about that. No offense to the real character artist for Echoes.

The nes' limitations forced them to only use 4 colors per 8 x 8 tiles.
