Seung-Min let out a sigh... so it was true. Giving Christina a sympathetic look, the Lieutenant opened the Artemis' cockpit and called down the elevator.

"Like I said... I'm not... going to stop you. But don't... think you have... to do this. More than... anything, I want you... to be happy. Okay?"

Megumi took the silence at her question as a 'no,' and started listening on her console for potential radio chatter between the suits that had already launched. Thankfully, Thorvald had just made contact with the seemingly AWOL pilot, or was at least trying to. He might be ignored, but given the details coming in, there was an impending battle, so it was in the boy's best interest to cooperate with the squad leader.

Hannah was aware that the former died, wasn't she? Maverick was also not the best fit since Brant would follow any orders that didn't involve suicide or attacking his own allies. That left Ice Man and ... well, Siberia, despite the countless decades of jokes, wasn't all frozen tundra. Either way, "It's temporary," Brant echoed his previous sentiments. Callsign revision should definitely wait now, regardless; according to the Captain, it really was Apotheosis. Again. "I'll figure it out later. For now, let's get ready to launch. I don't know if flight mode's compatible with the catapult, so take off in MS mode just to be certain. You can go into flight mode once you're airborne."

Guns to the Face

Makoto had barely registered that Thorvald on his legionary and another Velite were behind him until Tarquin had started to slow down. With the ragtag group able to catch up, Makoto slowed down at the sight that probably caused the same reaction from Tarquin. Why are they here?! That was... too soon. Too sudden. This wasn't how he envisioned his first official mission at all!  He'd be lying if he wasn't hesitant, letting the bigger mechs boost past him, sizing up the enemies from a greater distance. I promised mom...

"Thorvald?" The older man seemed worried about him, after all. That was good enough to provide a sense of safety, that his survival was important to some of them, yet he couldn't agree with staying back and leaving the three to face those numbers on their own. "I... I'll be honest, I don't want to die." Makoto wanted to be a hero, but heroes didn't break their promises, and no matter how much conviction he had, Makoto still knew he had a poor chance of coming out of this unscathed. "But, I'm not leaving you guys on your own! I talked to Tarquin saying I wanted to help, if maybe enlisting was an option, I even talked to your captain. I haven't really finished the simulation trainings... but I won't turn tail now!" Still, with every mech in the vicinity completely dwarfing the Phalanx, it was sheer guts that let Makoto say that.

"I picked the bulkier frame to stay on the safe side... guess it was good foresight, huh?" He gave an awkward chuckle, forcing his mech to move with the others. Don't be a sitting duck... hoo boy, come on now. "I can at least provide support from a distance... it's what I trained to do!"

Makoto to (3, 23)!

Of course, of course Apotheosis was attacking the facility. Roxanna couldn't hide a wince at that surprisingly recurring incident. They are everywhere they damn please... how are we still holding out? Even if the Riese was pulling some work, what did that say for the rest of the ANF? What of the Colonies now, as well? And they're deeper than we think... I hate it. Her hands squeezed the edge of her seat, Roxanna's gaze was fixated on the ground even as Jessica called for her, calling for a bit of a rattled nod as the XO broke off from her thoughts. "...Right. We should be getting close soon."

Test Drive...?

That had been... incredibly underwhelming from their own Legionary Mk. IIIs, Esther couldn't hold back a disappointed sigh, leaning her head on her knuckle as she watched the live feed from her cockpit. "That's our hard AI, I guess." It... wasn't the  same level as some games she'd beaten before, but it probably made sense with how much more complex real life movements were. "I'm going to have to file a complaint when I send those back..." Oh well, at least it was data. Did Esther need to take things to arms, now? Esther was a bit confused, but with the sturdy new ANF units retreating to cover, it was likely an uphill battle for the bots alone. "I guess I could rattle them up a bit..." Honestly, would these targets be that much trouble? One of the pilots felt like they were startled frozen for a good while...

Nikolai spat as he glared ahead, his skin feeling strangely hot. The radio chatter of the comm systems vaguely rattled in his skull, but to be quite honest he didn't quite give a shit.

For all he cared, they could be getting drunk and fighting the maker himself and dragging the universe into endless chaos as a result. None of it mattered, only the mission at hand.

When we get back to the ship, Tarquin is very grounded. Next time I get a friend I think I will kill him, then they will not fucking run away or get into trouble.

(Nikolai makes his way to 2,22, thinking about how much easier a pet rock would've been to care about)

The enemy were focusing on the base, leaving Tarquin's defensive position alone entirely. The trio of guards were likely all that Corona Ten had, their mobile unit force couldn't handle an assault like that. He needed to find a better approach, a direction confrontation was unlikely to work well if he was alone - he'd be ganged up on far too quickly for his liking. However, there was an unwelcome intrusion which may have been a blessing in disguise.

"Specialist Erikkson?" Tarquin replied, his surprise breaking his vow of silence. Why had Thorvald followed him? It was painful, he didn't want Thorvald to think that it was a simple reckless rush, but his situation was far more complicated that Thorvald probably thought. Surely there was a way of explaining himself, Thorvald deserved at least some sort of answer. "I am under instructions to return to Corona Ten... I'm sorry, I cannot explain further."

There were likely to be severe consequences after their outing, but surely the Professor would be able to explain the situation. That was if they could find him, it was slightly worrisome that he hadn't heard any more from him.

Player Phase/Turn 3

Wowie Zowie! The Riese is here! Will they make it in time?

"...Specialist Eriksson and the others are already engaged in combat against Apotheosis units." Roxanna remarked,  almost mechanically, as she caught the feed on her desk's virtual screen. "And over there... that mobile suit again." The Luna was on the ground, unmoving, had the pilot left to enter the facility on their own? The surrounding mobile suits definitely looked alert to their presence. How bizarre...

Happy

"Then... Keep me safe. And keep yourself safe. That sounds like a good way to make me happy." The lift came down, and all that left was getting into the machine. "Time for another session with emotions... You ready?" She stepped onto it and smiled, trying to keep her cool.

Already Engaged

Jess watched the enemy force come into sight, seeing Thorvald and company engage the newly discovered Cressida models. It was now or never, adjusting her hat some, and sitting up in her seat. "To all units," she started over the speakers, "launch, and engage enemy forces! It appears Tarquin is still on our side, so until this fight is over, make sure you keep him safe! I want to hear answers." With a small pause, she slowly opened up a personal channel to Abby, hoping she was paying attention. "And, Abby... Please, don't do anything reckless." She didn't want to upset the woman further, but... At the back of her mind, the thought of Abby charging in and letting how she felt get to her... It was a chilling thought.

Back to The Future

Brant's comment of temporary prompted a frown, but Hannah didn't have time to bring up any other suggestions. The captain had spoken. "Terminator, ready for launch!" The Mantle was as set as it was going to be.

Doors

After having gone through two rooms of guards, Vera was rather apprehensive when faced with another door. With a sigh, she kicked it down... Into... A room? It almost seemed like someone's living quarters... It was. There was a girl, huddled up. Vera almosted moved to deal with her... But... "You should stay here, if you want to live." There was no way Vera would be able to kill someone like that. The girl reminded her too much of how Esther used to be. It wasn't like the ANF didn't have her visuals. The Colony had likely recorded plenty of her. With another sigh, she left the room, and headed down the hall. "One of these will be the doctor's."

'Still on our side'. That was a pretty apt description of Tarquin's situation. And Elaine was oh so looking forward to how he wouldn't get any sort of punishment if and when he returned to the ship because he was a 14-year-old kid. Even if he wasn't the mole, everything about Tarquin still rubbed her the wrong way, mostly the age and the fact he was serving in the military. Of course, she did constantly forget that Kim had been 17, but-

"Uggggggh." Elaine groaned. The last thing she needed was a headache in the middle of a fight. Paying attention to the actual threat in front of her, several hunters were in the air, prepared to shoot at her when she got close enough. However, there was a large lake in between her and said hunters, and with a newly equipped water jet, Elaine had an idea.

Talia peeked out from under her covers trembling in terror. She'd heard constant cries and screams, as well as the blaring sirens - they were very much under attack. The purple haired terror in front of her was likely the cause of the mayhem. With her wild hair, stoic expression and potent blade, she was just like someone out of Edge Lords Downloaded. Of course, the main difference was that she was actually in front of her, and most likely going to cut her into pieces. Talia opened her mouth, but she couldn't produce any words. Why did it have to be her? Why couldn't it be the little shit who replaced her that was facing death? Why couldn't she be the Professor's favourite, everyone's hero? It just wasn't fair, all the bad things always happened to her... she'd tried her best at life, didn't she deserve something?

However, the act of mercy had taken her by surprise. Was she really getting away with her life? She was admittedly in the middle of a base under attack, but at least it gave her a glimmer of hope. She mouthed the words "thank you", still stunned into silence. Was this the grand karmic return she'd asked for?

Once her saviour left, she was left with a dilemma. What should she do? Escape into the forests and try and find help? It was a nice idea, but she hadn't even been outside for two years... and it seemed awfully scary. Could she even survive by herself? Unless she found a vehicle, it'd take her weeks to reach anywhere. There was one option... but could she really do it?

Spoiler

Door after door… She was about to make some comment about how long she’d been looking, but this was a huge facility, even if it was smaller than your typical ANF base. I should’ve ironed that out before coming here… What a mess. As luck would have it though, like most important people, the doctor’s door had a nameplate… And Vera sighed in relief as she came upon it, letting her sword dissolve and storing it back within her coat.

“Doctor,” she began, pushing the door open. “Your ride’s here.”

Stefan was stood in front of his desk, closing the lid of his briefcase and clicking the latches. “Perhaps it would have been better if I had given you a pocket map for you to carry around, no?” he chuckled, picking his case up. “So many things I would have wished to take with me, but sacrifices have to be made in love and war. At least I can take my knowledge with me, something that cannot be put in a case.”

He walked forwards casually, waiting patiently for his murderous escort. “It pains me to throw away my wonderful little T-4, but he was but a stepping stone to greater things.” Stefan requested, giving a cruel smirk. “A shame though, he was a nice boy, always did as he was told.”

“That would’ve been nice, yes. Less time chopping up the resistance. Mind the blood.” He seemed rather casual about all of this, though from her previous call, that made sense. Certainly took a special mind to almost enjoy their kidnapping. “So many things… Was the quivering mass in that room yours? If you care, I can grab her. She doesn’t look like she’ll add any weight… Of course, if there’s any other guards, she could get shot on the way out.” It was definitely a worry, both for the doctor and that girl, if plans went that way. At least with the doctor, Vera could play shield.

“Your wonderful little T-4, that’s Tarquin, correct? He’s definitely a good shot. I don’t think I’ll regret it when he gets put down.”

Stefan paused, his face lighting up as he realised who Vera had spoken of. “Oh? Her? Of course, she’s my second creation. T-2, Talia. She is proof that my artificial incubator is able to produce life, but she was… somewhat underwhelming. Leave her as she is, she’s likely to remain in her room even if the walls were burning. She has no will to succeed nor the drive to survive.” he grumbled, the disatisfaction on his face rather apparent. It only lasted for a moment or two, talking about Tarquin was a far better topic. “Tarquin, indeed. His field performance is fantastic, it has been less than a week and he outperforms the most elite marksmen. Now imagine if your wonderful group had access to more like him. Exciting, no?”

“Leave her as she is, is it…” Well, Vera wasn’t sure if she could do that. She was already pitying the girl, brought into the world by a mad scientist and left to rot, so to speak. “Come with me, then. You’ll have to save the exciting talk for our doctors, I’m sure Dr. Felsch would love to speak with you about superior engineered soldiers. I prefer homegrown.” An irony, considering her own body, but not for her subordinates, at least.

Taking the doctor along through the halls, Vera did have to stop for the girl. Not to take her with them, no, but she couldn’t shake the sight of her terrified, hiding under the covers. Maybe seeing her beloved ‘father’ taken would shake her enough to move. Stopping at her broken door again with him in tow, Vera sighed. “I take it back. If you want to live, Talia, then run. Leave, and find something. Because there’s nothing left here for you.” She didn’t know if the doctor wished to say anything, whether he did or not, she heard footsteps coming. The last of the guards, most likely.

“Say your goodbyes if you need to. One moment…” Katana unsheathed, she was getting rather tired of having to redden these walls.

Talia hadn’t really moved from her hiding place, denial was still on her agenda - it was far better than accepting this whole mess. Seeing the Professor with Vera confused her further, tears welling up in her eyes. She had no clue what her world had devolved into, everything was falling apart around her. Why was this women with the Professor? Was she his friend, he didn’t look like he was in trouble.

“Papa… ich werde-...” Talia began, her eyes filling with tears. She needed some sort of anchor to her past life, surely he could make all of it better. The response she got wasn’t quite what she wanted, or anything like it. He raised his hand at her, looking away.

“Ich gehe ohne dich. Ich brauche keine wertlosen Kinder. Selbst dich anzusehen ist unangenehm.” he replied sternly, walking away only after a couple of seconds. “Viel Glück, du hast nicht das Talent zu überleben.  Ein Fehler bis zum Ende.”

Talia froze, her body and brain couldn’t process the rejection she’d received. Why had he suddenly abandoned her? It wasn’t fair at all, she’d done her best… he’d always been so kind, why now? “Gehen nicht!” she cried, her eyes and nose streaming. “Ich kann eher wie Vier sein! Das verspreche ich! Bitte! Gehen nicht…”

The sounds of bullets and screams down the hall preceded Vera’s return, sighing and staring at her boots. “And I’d almost made it through here without a stain on them… Why did he have to be so persistent in living?” Poking her head back into the room, the girl seemed even more distressed than before. Whatever the doctor had said certainly seemed effective, in one way or another. “Let’s go then, doctor. Keep close. I don’t know if your base has any more surprises in store for me.”

Leaving Talia behind, Stefan followed after Vera. He cautiously stepped over her freshest victim, looking down at the body. “Publik, you always did have the worst timing. My apologies for making you run around…” he apologised, his face curling into a cruel smirk. “It must have been hard after I switched off communications, no?”

Buck was apparently in no mood. That said, he had no idea just how little Abigail had planned to get into anything, which made his reply rather ironic.

"Makoto, huh," Abby sighed. It made sense, the phalanx maniac made off with her back-up ride, and that fiery redhead had stood her up on their duel, so her main was still sadly out of reach. "Well, so long as your machine doesn't betray me like Apo did, given they're cut from the same cloth..." was all the spark she could muster, before turning and making her way aboard.

It wasn't until Jess's private channel comment to her, after they'd launched, that she realized her mistake. Something about the tone quality had been different, just off enough, and the content as well had been just the right words to trigger the association.

"Oh fuck me," Abigail muttered to herself, as she spun the Crescent Moon into a full 180, and headed right back to the Riese.

In her despair and distraction, she'd left her helmet laying where it had dropped on the hangar floor. If she flew the whole mission without it, and if Megumi or Jess found out, she would never hear the end of it. Better to just join the party late than have to deal with all of that.

Abigail returns to port, boards the boat

Enlisting? If they'd been having a face-to-face conversation, Makoto might have seen Thorvald's eyes narrow as he sized up the lad further, but as things were such was not the case. And he'd spoken with Jess about it? Were they that desperate?

Surveying the field of Apotheosis goons laid out before them the answer was unfortunately clear. Yes. Yes they were. Tarquin's tight-lipped response didn't clear up matters much either. Under orders, but not from Jess. And this Corona Ten certainly didn't resemble the boarding school the man had been envisioning in the first place. Seems like he'd been going too easy on the lad, letting him keep a few secrets when he chose not to pry too closely.

"Explanations can wait," he agreed tersely, focused on getting the unit to gel as one and weather the storm. And it worked refreshingly well, in fact. A little scrape on the old paint job, but he kept the lost boys free from harm. Peter Pan would be proud.

"Alright, let's stay bunched up, and focus our fire. Work together and we can take them down, help is already on the way, the worst is over," Thorvald offered as pep talk, while evaluating his own options.

Thorvald didn't sound happy at all, but in the end he was accepting of Makoto's contribution for now. "R-right, later..." Makoto wasn't anticipating that at all, but he couldn't lose focus because somebody was less than happy about him joining the fray now! He already dealt with his mother, he'd deal with Thorvald. I just... I gotta stay safe. It's a promise. With enemies so close by, there wasn't much room for reflecting, anyways, and he wasn't about to turn tail, he'd show the Phalanx's strength!

"Yeah, am ready." Kim replied as the pair both got into the Artemis, only a few moments left before the machine came barreling out of the hangar of the Heion Riese, thrusters coming to life to keep the suit airborne as the squad assembled into a rough formation. There they were, more Apotheosis men attacking this place too... Tarquin had suggested they come here and had deployed early without orders, and now it was under attack... just what was going on? It wasn't just that, either. Long range scans and a zoomed camera showed that hulk of a mech from Colony 1 was here as well... the one that had carried Vera.

"That Vera... again here. Why do... keep run into her?" Kim asked to no one in particular, as she gave her head a shake. No time to worry about it now, they had a job to do. Moving forward towards the line of fighter planes, Kim closed in towards them, firing off a volley from her scattergun and gatlings into the lead plane.

Kim uses Focus, flies to 14,15 and attacks Hunter 2 with MARS Mode S

Mantle, transform, move to 14,17

Landing outside the Riese, it was time to put this machine to the test... Quickly transforming after taking off, Hannah smiled. The handling was exactly the same as the simulation had lent her to believe. That just made this a bigger game... For her, at least. Taking sight of the enemy craft coming in, she was surprised that she wouldn't immediately be able to make contact with the enemy. It was taking her just a bit too long to close distance. "Soon..."

"Oni One, launching!" The Regalia was flung out of the Riese and toward the large lake in front of them. ... so that was where the water had gone. Brant made sure to enter flight mode long before reaching the ground or the water, and flew straight south along with the Artemis and Mantle. The first shots exchanged in their sector had both been misses, but that was about to change. No more simulations; it was time to see what his mobile suit actually felt like in battle. "Hunter locked on. Targeted and firing ..."

Brant transforms to flight mode, casts Focus, moves to 13-17, and attacks Hunter #2 with the Hyper Beam Rifle!

There wasn't anything left to look at, so Brant turned his attention partly toward what the lieutenant had just mentioned, Vera. This would be their third run in if she didn't flee the area immediately. Brant could see that going either way; the first time they met her, she'd been in a hurry to leave with her prized scientist. If the cyborg was paying Corona Ten a visit, she might be kidnapping another scientist or something to that effect. "I wonder if there's a way to take that thing down while it's just sitting there ..." Doubtful, but if Vera wasn't just snatching up more bright minds, she might actually help her people out and make this battle more difficult for them.

Their Vera troubles aside, there was one other potential issue. Another TK, or someone that reminded Brant of one, was further south, near another fight that was unfolding near the facility. Whoever they were, they were probably with Apotheosis, too ...

Brant springs into action, gun hot!

He moves to 13,17, firing on Hunter #2... And has 100 hit, and... A-Auto kills it... Well!

Brant gains +150 EXP, +7 Will, +3 PP!

Impolite Exit

"Lieutenant!" One of the Cressida pilots radioed in to Vera as she was reaching the exit, her worried frown turning into a wry smile. "Heion Riese entering combat zone! Enemy mobile suits deploying against our forces!"

"Hahah... Forever a thorn in my side... Doctor, my apologies, but you need to sleep, now." Vera didn't quite wait until he was ready, turning and delivering a fierce blow to his stomach. Anything she damaged knocking him out could be dealt with when they returned to base, or by her inside the Luna, outside of the combat zone. But for now, they needed to leave... Hoisting the body over her shoulder, she quickly ran off to where her machine had made contact with the building, hoisting herself into the cockpit. "Come and get me, Riese... Come and get me, Android."

The Luna powered up, beginning its flight.

Battle Mastery change! Reduce the Luna to 1200 HP or less!

Quick Fire

Christina gripped the seat as the Artemis launched, trying her best to cycle through the myriad emotions now flooding her head. It was a lot easier to process them with the T-Link... How Brant, Kim and Firmia all managed without one was beyond her. Though there was... One that was just so off. Faint, in the distance. While Kim focused on firing, she tried to zoom a camera out at the machine where this was all coming from... It was entirely unique, nothing she'd ever seen before. "An Apotheosis custom...?" It was different enough from the Luna, too... What was it? Those wings... And this feeling she was getting... Was the pilot a Telekinetic? If they were, they... There was something... Disturbed, about them. Something wrong. It was unnatural, but there was no word to place to it.

Kim missing snapped Christina out of her viewing, closing the camera. "I-I'm sorry! Was that my fault?"

Enemy Phase later, pending reactions!

It's moving. So, pilots come out to play, again, huh? I wonder if she's gonna give us a warning, this time. Elaine remembered how she had gotten a one-in-a-million shot against the very same mecha that was now powering up, back on Colony 1. Of course, she had been verbally called out, both by the pilot and her squadmates, both telling her not to do that again. However, she had the feeling of excitement boiling in her, once more. She wanted to see if she could manage to hit the thing, again, and maybe take on the crazy bastard that was inside.

The more she looked at the robot, observing it, the more her mind seemed to drift away from the eventual combat she would have with it, and more so as to why it had been powered down in the first place. Attacks like these usually involved blowing up the facilities quick and easy with the weapons they had, but...not this time. Just like Colony 1, the pilot, this lady, had abandoned her mech, only seeming to activate it as though she had just returned to it from-

Something clicked in her head. This was just like the assault that happened on Colony 2, as well! Rather than getting mechs to tear the building apart, they sent someone in to deal with the defenses from the inside, and there was only one reason someone would do that. They weren't here to destroy... They were looking for something. Or someone.

"Red to Bright Eyes! Red to Bright Eyes!" Elaine called through her comm system. "Captain, after observing the situation, I believe this isn't some random attack on a facility with high tech. I think they're here to take something, and the pilot in that big, purple robot, the same one that was on Colony 1... I think they just got what they were looking for! If they took anything experimental, or maybe captured one of the scientists. If they get away with whatever they got, it'll just spell more trouble for us and the rest of the world!" Elaine was in the process of aiming down the sights of her gun, when she remembered what she had been thinking about literally minutes before she had made the call. "Permission to fire on that thing and slow down its escape? We can't let Apotheosis get another advantage, Captain!"

As the volley of fire came from the Artemis, it seemed almost certain that the Apotheosis hunter would take heavy damage... or they should have. Kim had never seen an evasive maneuver quite like that one before, the fighter plane ducking and diving every which way, weaving between the individual shots from her gatlings and scattergun... was it luck, skill? Kim couldn't tell, focusing on shooting down the return fire with her funnels. If the pilot was skilled enough to evade like that, still weaving between the suppressive fire from her funnels, then... well, she supposed it didn't matter. Despite the miracle evasion from the fighter pilot, they had been corralled directly into Brant's line of fire, and with nowhere left to run, destroyed in one burst from the Regalia's main gun.

"No, not you fault, Chrissy. Never see anyone dodge like that before... good shooting, Oni-1."

"Hhh... what is this feeling?" And now this buzzing was coming to Esther, this pressure in the back of her mind... two, three? She could very well sense the presences nearby, and just couldn't filter it out. Bugging her, pestering her conscience with this bothersome sting. "I hate it..." Was it the planes? And some bizarre mix and match from that flying robot. Huh, it had funnels too-- "Naturals, damn it." So that was what was making her head ache.

"Vera... are you done?" Esther called through the comms, seeing the Luna light up again. Her tone was far from her usual innocent self, Esther's mood had soured real quick. "They're here, the Riese... they're messing me up. Can we go?" She was getting antsy, moving up to the new ANF mechs as the AI legionaries were doing an spectacular job at failing expectations. "Stupid robots... here's how real people do it."

The trio kept the good fight going alright. They even managed to bring down an enemy bot through their efforts. Yeah, the power of teamwork! "Ha ha!" Aliza grinned behind her controls. "We did it!"

"Don't let your guard down rookie!" Spoke Sledge. "They won't take to that kindly..." He turned his gaze toward the leader who didn't do much at all other than watch. Strange. 'Hm, what's this one's take in all this...he hasn't moved at all.' Well sadly the Legionaries took their chance to react...onto Sledge. "!"

"Sledge watch it!" Hicks called out.

"I know!" The man shouted, trying his best to guard all the incoming damage. He managed to evade some shots from one and braced in for a clubbing from the other. The third one managed to hit him right in the shoulder with a beam, taking off a chunk of armor. However the bold man was still standing tall. He won't be defeated so easily. "H.hah, that all ya go-!" However that sudden burst of moxie turned south quick when he saw Esther move. The leader hadn't made a move until now, but suddenly he felt like he wished he didn't. "Tch!"

Esther approached with a sharp blade drawn out with a very clear intent to kill. Every bone in Sledge's body told him that he could not defend this one. He had to evade. So the man tried...yet his reflexes were too slow and the knife drove it's way through the cockpit. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH-!" The man had a blood chilling scream as the cold steel smashed it's way through to him. His life was gone in the flash of an eye.

"!" The young Italian girl was too busy celebrating their small victory, however the scream broke her out of her high and brought her mood plummeting into the floor. She witnessed the soldier's mech fall limp from Esther's grasp, hit the floor, and implode on itself. "........" Her eyes widened at this scene. It was...staggering to say the least.

"SLEDGE!" Shouted Hicks in the other machine, just about as shocked. His partner in crime, the other half to his duo, gone in a flash. "You bastard...!" He snarled out, about to lose it.

Speaking of almost losing it. Aliza simply stood there in total disbelief that this just happened. She was prepared for war in the academy...or so she thought. She was not at all prepared to witness a life being taken before her. "....u.uuuuh..." And here comes the blue screen in her mind. The worst possible time for it to happen as well. "......crap......"

Player Phase/Turn 4

Yikes! Things are looking bad for our greenies!

"The unit is moving again!" Roxanna clutched the edge of her seat, eyes intent on the feed of the Luna taking flight. Are we too late again? Come on... "...Captain, Red might have a point." How weird it felt, to call Jessica a Captain and to give reason to Lieutenant Hedrick. "Unlike Great Lake, Corona Ten is mostly intact. There is a good chance that whoever is piloting that has found what they wanted, again." Was there anything they could do now? Could they actually stand up to that unit? That could end up very messy.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Defeat Condition: Tarquin or the Riese is downed!
