I mean, this isn't pokemon where trading is a core mechanic of fire emblem. I don't see it happening, even in some restricted form. People can make multiple, legal accounts, sometimes on the same phone. So theoretically they could use the hundreds of orbs available to a new player through story mode and pull for good units to trade to their main account. It's time consuming, but people would do it. Especially the people who would otherwise be so into the game they'd put real life money down for more units. What's the point of getting Orbs and taking my time if I can just find people to trade with? You want a sense of feeling like you've earned it.
