C11 6/82 turns

Dropped Karel and Hugh across the wall so they can kill the swarm of Fighters and so Karel can kill Orlo on the penultimate turn. Percival, Igrene and the dancers fought their way to where Astol appears and Yuno flew to the villages below the southern wall. Got all villages and routed the map. Recruited Astol, who has capped level and pretty decent stats, but E swords, so he'll be pretty bad at fighting. I definitely want his Thief utility though.

Sent Hugh to the right to help out against the enemies while Astol and Geese looted the treasure chests. Igrene fought the ranged enemies through the walls and Yuno and Percival mainly ferried units. Yuno failed to OHKO the boss with Durandal, but luckily she still doubled him. Got all the treasure, including Saul's stuff, and gave an Angelic Robe to Elphin.

Weaponless Astol dodgetanked his way to the Body Ring village, the lances all had pitiful chances on him. Igrene and Karel did most of the combat going through the bottom bridge. Sold some treasure and bought one of each killer weapon from the shop. Could probably have 5-turned with a lot more janky dancer dodges.

Chapter 13: 7/102

Finally, a new unit. Sophia went up to get the Body Ring while everyone else went left to kill stuff before Yuno flew Karel over to the boss and got some killer weapons.

Clarine rounded up on speed, luck, defense, and resistance. What a trooper. Her magic is garbage, but at least she'll double everything after she promotes.

Chapter 14: 5/107

Yuno takes the boots and drops Karel over the cliff to kill everything before heading back to get Elphin. Got everything except the Silver Blade and Warp. Bought several Pure Waters and a bunch of dark tomes on the last turn since Sophia was totally out of tomes by the end of this chapter. Had Dayan use a Dracoshield during the chapter.

C14 5/102 turns

Shanna get, she replaces Sophia and has her original base stats. She's pretty much untrainable at this point, but a second flier is welcome. Karel killed most of the enemies and the fliers ferried the dancers past the gap so they can help with the clear. Undrafted fliers went get some desert items. Percival used a speedwing and Lalum the boots. Stocked up on Aircalibur tomes for Lugh (Hugh probably won't use up his current one at this rate), and also bought some pure water.

Used my freshly obtained pure water. Percival and Yuno not being killable by the Bolting meant the sages would just go for the target with the lowest resistance, which was Astol. He could dodge some Boltings thanks to his high Avo (although I forgot to use the Elixir on him at the start of turn 2 for reliability). Bosskill was jank because it wasn't done by Karel.

Chapter 14x: 3/110

Took way too long to figure out. Yuno kept dying but I eventually found a different tile to put her where she'd face less attacks and thus she lived. Bosskill wasn't too bad since Durandal has decent amount of base hit and C support with Karel gave another 5 hit for 65 displayed hit overall. Promoted Clarine and fed her a few enemies for a level.

Chapter 15: 3/113

Yuno dropped Karel over the mountain on Turn 1 with Elphin's help. Other people just self improved a bit. Did a rescue chain with Chad and Clarine to get Lalum dropped ahead so that she could dance Dayan on the last turn to reach the shop to sell some stuff and buy some tomes. Got both villages and recruited Lugh for the free Knight's Crest.

Too tired to give a long explanation. Dieck got the right treasure, Yuno got the Rescue Staff, Dayan broke the wall so Clarine could recruit Fa. Bors was an asshole. The usual.

C15 3/108 turns

Pretty simple map. Karel got dropped next to the boss on turn 2 and ORKOed with Wo Dao. Visited the hammerne village and the vendor on turn 3. Recruited Lugh, who has ridiculously good base stats and just ate an Angelic Robe and Dracoshield to bolster his bulk. He also has C staves, allowing him to use Restore and later on also Rescue.

Chapter 16x: 8/131

I think there is some way to clear this map in 7 turns, but I couldn't figure how. Yuno picked up Karel and got way ahead of everyone else so they just self-improved for the most part. Dayan did kill a Sniper blocking Yuno's path with a Longbow so at least he contributed to actually finishing the map. Clarine reached D Tomes for the sweet 1 EXTRA MIGHT from Thunder Tomes over Fire Tomes.

Forgot to mention that Yuno used a Speedwing last Chapter, so that's where the extra speed came from in the stat block.

Chapter 18: 5/141

Yuno carried Karel to the boss again. Karel couldn't kill the boss because he would attack Yuno with Purge instead of suiciding on Karel, so Yuno had to kill the boss instead, which meant the reliability was total ass, but oh well. Also S Axes Dieck hype. 

Chapter 19: Cancer/146

Holy shit, this was the fucking worst. Yuno has to dodge so many things during the chapter. Even worse was that some asshole Troubadour blocked Karel's path to the boss on Turn 4 so Yuno had to kill it so he could reach the boss instead of having her run out of range of all of the enemies, meaning she had to dodge even more shit. At least she got a Shin level out of it? Yay? She also ate the 2nd speedwing on the last turn. Everyone else just self-improved. Stole the Knight's Crest and some Vulneraries with Chad. Wolt exists and killed a thing, whoop. Bought some Physic Staves.

Much easier than the last map. Sophia Nostanked the enemies at the entrance and then everyone else cleared out stragglers next turn. Clarine used Silence on the Sleep Druids so they wouldn't bother me. Wolt went to the arena to get some more cash while Lot sold some more stuff. Got the Speedwings and all of the treasure in the lower room.

C16 9/117 turns

Lugh made his first appearance here, it's ridiculous how broken he is with the statboosters. Split up my team, with Karel going to the throne through the right, taking Percival, Lalum and Igrene along. Hugh took some filler combat roles at the start and then entered the top-right treasure room with Shanna, 4blazing the dragon in the way and collecting all chests just in time. Got all treasure to the left aswell, aside from the Silver Bow and the stealables on the Dragon and Narshen. Percival and Igrene broke the wall with Brave Sword + Brave Bow on the final turn and Clarine just barely got to Fa to recruit her. Fa is also a free unit and she gets hard mode bonuses, so she'll see some use.

Chapter 20x: Free

Here we do what everyone does in free chapters: Grind the fuck out of weapon ranks. And boy, did I go to some absurd lengths to raise weapon ranks. Highlights include Dayan going around and breaking walls after all of the enemies were already dead just to raise sword rank, and rigging 40-something hits from the boss over and over so that Clarine could heal multiple times each turn. At least I don't have to worry about her not reaching S Staves now. Yuno also finally hit S Lances after working on that for like the whole game basically. Also had Yuno use an Angelic Robe, Dayan the Speedwings, and Karel the Body Ring (it's for the end of the game in case you didn't know about the "surprise" in the final chapter).

Chapter 21: 9/160

Yuno carried Karel over the mountain, and then he walked to the throne and crit Murdock's face with the last two uses of the Armorslayer. Yuno went and bought 21 pairs of boots, which were then distributed among my units as such: 3 to Dayan, Clarine, Elphin, and Lalum; 2 to Yuno and Sophia; with 5 remaining that are all for Karel.

C16x 7/124 turns

Mostly just Lugh demolishing enemies and units tactically avoiding the Berserk staff, using AI manipulation (leaving units weaponless and keeping Fa at the bottom of the roster). With Fimbulvetr, Lugh almost killed the boss, leaving him low enough for one Brave Sword hit to finish the job at very lousy hitrates (but doable because rigging and he has up to 4 shots).

To Sacae we go! This one went pretty well, Lugh could decimate the normally pesky Nomads & Nomad Troopers easily and with good accuracy. He also sniped the boss twice on turn 4, using Bolting, so that Yuno can finish him off with Horseslayer. Sold a lot of stuff I don't need and went to the arena a couple of times.

This one took a bit of rigging to make the dancers survive. Lugh was also not immortal and needed a Speedwing to double Nomads, but without his combat the odds would've been much, much worse. Karel did the bosskill and Lalum danced him to the gate. Sold a bunch of items.

This one was a pain. I'm pretty sure a 5-turn was somehow possible, but it was too frustrating to find out and getting held up by this map for 172 days is more than enough, so I sticked with 6 turns. #4blaze came in handy, and Lugh's survival, although it looked shaky at some points, was comparatively pretty reliable. Didn't have to dodge any status staves fortunately, and Lugh got to use staves 3 times, putting his staff count at 7 out of the 50 needed to use Rescue later on (C20x grinding will save my back).

I didn't see a way for my team to 4-turn as that would've required Percival + Lugh to kill the boss while going around the left-hand side; however, I only have 2 mounts and there are enemies in the way, so I 5-turned instead and went through the treasure room to get useful items and/or money for later on. This chapter features 2 very annoying Bolting!Sages that Lalum has to dodge to survive, along with a dangerous Ballista on each side. Fortunately, I had a Bolting use remaining, so I could eliminate one of the Bolting!Sages on turn 2 with that and a Longbow hit. Karel killed the boss with a Durandal hit + crit and Lance came in handy. He replaces Dayan and is a pretty fast and otherwise very solid Paladin. Lugh staff count: 10/50.

C20x 20 free/142 turns

Grinded. Lugh, Percival, Elphin, Fa, Karel and Igrene started out in the top-right corner, Lance and Lalum in the top-left so they can rush to the top-right asap (they were not in the top-right corner to begin with because there are only 6 deployment slots there). Used formations that allow 3 units to be damaged per turn to allow for 3 staff uses on Lugh per turn. That way, he could easily hit B staves here as using a staff 40 times in 20 turns is very doable if you have two dancers (= up to 3 actions per turn). Decided against recording this chapter, I think it's obvious to everyone that it's possible to fulfil my B staves goal within that timeframe and it's terribly tedious to both record and watch. The two Pallies are Percival and Lance, and they along with Igrene take hits from regular Nomads, since those, unlike Nomad troopers, can't cross rivers and annoy my dancers that way (I just killed Nomad Troopers off). Lugh would heal each one of them on most turns to hit B staves. Karel went to the nearest castle in the meantime and killed the boss (checked at the start to make sure it's the correct castle). Lance also reached S axes.

Shanna came in handy, although she had to dodge a 58 hit steel lance to survive. Igrene, Percival, Hugh and Fa killed the enemies left of the start, using holy weapons sometimes. Bought an Armorslayer to improve reliability against Murdock. It had good accuracy against him and minimized his accuracy. The alternatives were pretty bad, as I would've needed to rig 2 Armads hits and still dodge the Tomahawk or hit a Hammer at abysmal hitrates. Lugh's ability to use Rescue came in handy here, he used it 3 times to make this 6-turn possible, with a Hammerne usage in between. Went to the secret shop twice because the units near the secret shop, who are far away from Merlinus, needed as many items as possible from there, so I visited the secret shop once, emptied Yuno's inventory and then visited again to complete the shopping spree. That allowed me to use 6 Boots in the nearby area and give Lugh the Bolting tome, which was essential for the bosskill. Astol and Elphin on trees are OP.

C21x 4/152 turns

This was pretty easy. Lugh used rescue to save a turn by rescuing Lance pocket Roy into the throne room. I could use a lot of boots here and wasn't sandwiched by the enemies to the side because Lance and Karel could finish them off pretty easily. Yuno equipped a killer lance so the knights would only attack her with a javelin at 61 hit, instead of the much more accurate Axereaver. The bosskill was a little janky, taking 2 KE crits and a Fenrir dodge.

C22 4/156 turns

This was pretty hard. There are a lot of enemies near the throne room that had to be killed or survived by Karel, Lalum, Igrene and Percival. Needless to say, none of those except Karel can kill those enemies efficiently, so I used him for that. Lugh helped out with a sleep use against the Light Brand!Hero that Karel can't really kill on counterattack (since the Runesword breaks early and is unreliable at critting). Igrene and Percival had pretty mediocre strength, so they needed 4 Bolting chips from the very strong Lugh to bring down Zephiel.

The next problem are the two Heroes on the switches. For the left one, I simply used a Berserk staff to make him move away from his tile, and Igrene killed the right one but couldn't visit the tile because she wouldn't arrive at the throne in time, so I gave Hugh a pair of boots so he can get to the switch on turn 4. The Berserkers on this map are so awful that Hugh could actually ORKO one, even with his poor Magic and Speed.

Lugh cleaned up the way up the left on turn 1, using a 6-use Aircalibur (I didn't plan this in advance, but I instinctively kept it because a 6-use weapon might be useful) that would break after the first 3 enemies and re-equip him to the Forblaze, which improved his Avoid against the pretty strong Druids and allowed him to ORKO them (the other option would've been Fimbulvetr, which noticeably reduces his Avoid); Aircalibur isn't strong enough. Lugh also managed to use 2 boots here, he was way too busy to eat more in the previous chapters, so he now has 12 mov. Fa also absorbed the Berserk staves, she's excellent at this because she only faces around 30 hit due to her high Res.

A 2-turn would've been possible, but only when relying on a survival chance of around 0.5-0.7%. I wasn't willing to take that, so I did this 3-turn instead. Igrene, Yuno and Percival ate status staves so Lugh and Karel don't have to. Lugh did most of the work, most importantly by dismantling the boss area. The berserk use on the Killer Bow!Sniper meant that only one enemy had to be removed on PP3, since I wouldn't have the manpower to kill more. Lugh then got two dances on turn 3, Bolting'd another Druid to clean the path to Brenya and killed her with Bolting + 2x Fimbulvetr.

My team wasn't able to 6-turn this. Percival, Lugh and Igrene could only survive one Dragon, while Lance could survive two (thank god for Armads' Def boost) and Karel was busy visiting thrones, so I needed to use Sleep staves a lot. I also used two rescues to get Karel into position in the first two turns. Seized the thrones so fast that the Dragon reinforcements didn't even spawn.

Endgame 1/167 turns

Easy. For some reason, Idoun is a Master Lord with all-capped stats in this hack. Karel could still take her down with a Durandal hit + crit.

Gave Lalum the first pair of boots, instead of Elphin, because I often used strategies where Elphin would be dropped ahead by someone who got danced by Lalum. That works better than dropping Lalum ahead because she is a lot frailer. With 7 mov on Lalum and 5 mov on Elphin, that allowed both dancers to not fall behind in those strategies.

He was out of control. Due to his solid defenses and sky-high avoid he could take on a lot of enemies at once and ORKO most of them easily. He also hit B staves, allowing him to use Rescue and status staves, which saved a lot of turns even when they were just available for 5 maps. He was an excellent bosskiller aswell, his great skill allowed him to pull good hitrates and with Bolting or Forblaze he was so strong that even some magically very bulky bosses like Brenya and Zephiel took massive damage.

Pretty good. She was very useful early on, and got pretty blessed, although for most of the time it didn't matter. Having a 15 mov Murgleis user was pretty useful in C22 through C24.

His skill and def are really pitiful, but he was a very good unit throughout all of the game. I didn't have a lot of 8-mov units and his offense was pretty sufficient for most of the time.

Glad I got him. He could use Armads after C20x grinding, which gave me another very important Dragon killer and allowed him to not get 2HKOed by C24 dragons. Percival alone wouldn't have been good enough for the last few chapters.

Not sure if it was necessary to train her, but it's pretty easy so you might aswell do it. She could attract status staves via deployment position and dodge them very easily due to her absurdly high Res. Aside from that, she helped out a little with combat in some chapters.

Pretty good early on. Later on her combat sucked but being a flier still saved a lot of turns.

She came in handy a few times as a 7-mov unit who can fly although she was so squishy she couldn't really fly anywhere.

Pretty good early on. His stats fell off towards midgame, so he stopped contributing much after a while.

Got me a lot of money by opening chests and stealing stuff like Elixirs and Gems and had very good avoid, so he could go on a tree and dodgetank some enemies.
