No there is no support limit unlike the GBA games and PoR so one character can have 2 A supports for example. It is similar to the GBA games because the supports convos happen during the battles. You can find the support boosts there https://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-echoes-shadows-valentia/characters/support-bonus/ and it also says who are the support partners for each character. Like I'll have two characters that will randomly not get the support aura around them despite not being on full support, but then they will randomly get it again a few battles later? Like Boey and Mae seem to currently be stuck on B support because they're not getting the purple aura despite fighting side by side for several maps... It says capped at 20 points per battle, but the same characters won't receive it next battle, whilst others will still be receiving it? It's left me confused -.- A lot of supports won't progress until late in the game. Like Clair and Gray's final support won't happen until I believe chapter 5. If units suddenly stop gaining support points, then it's likely because you've hit the max support level they can have at that point in the game.
