Erureido Posted June 10, 2017 Share Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) Just like the title says, create a Pokemon team that you'd think would fit the above user's avatar: Here's an example: This is User A's avatar: User B designates this Pokemon team that fits the character in User A's avatar: User C then does the same, but this time for User B's avatar, and so on and so forth: Some rules to keep in mind: Try to go for a full-team of six. You are allowed to use legendaries and Ultra Beasts on a single team. Species clause is in effect (a.k.a. you can't have more than one of the same Pokemon on a single team). In the case of Alola forms, you can't have both the Alola form and the normal form of that Pokemon on the same team (i.e. a team cannot have a regular Ninetales and an Alola Ninetales at the same time) Mega Evolutions are permissible, but like the games, only one Mega Evolution per team. It is not necessary for all Pokemon on a team to each a share a type. You can choose to present your Pokemon team either in words or images, but if you're going with images, sprites are more preferable because they are smaller and don't take up too much space. Combined with its round shape, it too gives me Nopon vibes Musharna references Riki's Bedtime art Gengar, Hoopa, and Zoroark are there to reference Riki's mischievous nature. Erureido Posted June 25, 2017 Author Share Posted June 25, 2017 Admittedly, I had a harder time coming up with a team for the given avatar. I opted for Pokemon that convey the various images I had in mind when looking at it. The avatar looks startling, so I went for several Pokemon that have the "surprise" factor going for them (the ghost-types). Yet, the character in the avatar looks casual, so I picked a few Pokemon that look rather casual (Simisear and Scrafty). Meowstic (male), as I feel it fits as well. Sylveon, as it seems like a helper Pokemon, and your avatar seems to be a helper. Gallade and Accelgor, more due to your member title "Hero and Ninja." I believe the character in your avatar is said "Hero and Ninja," though I know not much about them. Regardless, I still think Gallade and Accelgor fit well. Erureido Posted June 28, 2017 Author Share Posted June 28, 2017 Golduck is the closest Pokemon I can think of that resembles Perry the Platypus, who has that bond with the Dr. Heinz. Magnezone, Klinklang, Electrode, and Reuniclus are scientific-looking people. Alakazam is there because scientists in the Pokemon games sometimes have someone from the Abra evolution line on their team, so I guess it'd be fitting for a scientist like Dr. Heinz to have on as well. Thus, most of the Pokemon in this team are related to farming in some way. Many farmers in the Pokemon series own a Militank, a Tauros, or both. Meganium can revive dead plants, which would be useful for growing crops if misfortune ever struck. Tropius also continues the theme of plentiful harvests. It's also a flier, so it'd have good flying utility. Scyther would make a good plower with those scythes on its arms. Machoke is the only one not associated with farming. It was the closest Pokemon that I could think of that resembles a Faceless (because both have a very muscular and bulky body), which Anthony turns into in Revelation. Leavany (Sewaddle's evolution) because it also fits villagers, and can cut things like a naginata. Conkeldur, as it is big and heavy like a Faceless. Dusknoir, as it fits the Vallite "ghost" aspect.
