Well crap, Nox can not currently run the game. I didn't occur to me to make a binding code, so now I have to wait it out. Hopefully there will a fix from the Nox devs to fix this. If only this game played better on my phone.

Btw. if anyone has Medb put her in the Support slot. She is probably the best Servant by far in this event thanks to being the only Rider with the Event bonus.

Its funny in an intentionally cringy way but stuff like Blackbeard is cross the funny and creepy line yeah

 

Also yeah theres a dearth of ST Rider especially female ones. Santa Alter is going to hard carry this for me

I personally love it, but then Prillya is one of my favorite Fate series, and I'm a fan of several magical girl shows.  I'd imagine that most people not familiar with the magical girl genre might find the event a bit off putting, though, since it's a parody, and the genre isn't something that generally appeals to a western audience.

Chris Hansen has nothing to do with why the joke is tasteless.  Similar jokes are overused and unoriginal.  Crap like that is very close to calling someone a lolicon just because they happen to like a loli character or loli-focused show, even if it's just a tongue-in-cheek joke.

Moving back to the topic, the event itself seems pretty chill for the story battles, and the episodic nature of the raid battles is neat.  Seems like a prelude to break bars since the fights are solo rather than full raids, and each episode has different buffs.

On the plus side I did get a few extra hours of sleep because of it---had to wake up at 8 for something---so *shrug.*

yo thing is that there's a reason that loli-focused shows are looked at with leery eyes. 

it's tasteless to make Arvis BBQ jokes, but it's far less tasteless to make Chris Hansen jokes around lolicon shows. Hell I like Prillya, but I still find the humor in this stupid meme.

I am aware the west doesn't like lolis.  The joke exists because of this, and will always carry the connotation that the person being made fun of is a lolicon, regardless of the intent of the joke.  The Arvis BBQ comparison is flawed, because the butt of the joke is not a real person, it's a fictional character.  The butt of most lolicon-hunting jokes usually are real people.

and lolicon hunting jokes are fine by me, but that's just my view. After seeing Digibro come onto the Dick Masterson show and admit it's his fetish, the lolicon hunting jokes are more widespread.

Going to let it drop after this, but I never said you meant to do that.  The joke is literally that someone is under suspicion of being a lolicon, as it originated as a response to a real-life, high-profile child pornography case.  Regardless of intent, the joke will always imply that the person being made fun of is a pedophile, because it wouldn't be a joke otherwise.

I’m unfamiliar with Maho Shoujo in general, but I found the dialogue pretty funny. Pretty sure the cringe effect is intentional.

Straw that broke the camel's back.  The thing I was least looking forward to about the Prillya event was the inevitable surge of police/FBI/Chris Hansen memes, as I find turning a criminal accusation into a joke very distasteful, and this pretty much proves I can't state that Prillya is my favorite Fate series anywhere without someone bringing it up (Prillya manga and Carnival Phantasm were more or less my gateway into Fate).  I apologize for derailing the thread.

My one roll (in the vain hope that I'd get another good Caster) netted me NOTHING.  Not even an event CE.  Liz/Medea are going to be my go-to Casters unless a miracle happens.

Honestly speaking, i've been unimpressed with most of the bonus servant whenever i get the chance to use them

Illya could have been cool but she's a Caster so the star weight got in the way
Medb is a no steroid besides charisma and her male bonus just isn't gong to proc often here. Her damage on NP, looking on NP damage chart is just around 27k on NP1 which is pretty eh all things considered. Her damage bonus stacks additively with Kaleidos too and its not "high enough" to offset her low steroid value and her shit stats

Nursery Rhyme is a hilarious one - had a friend one who is 10/10/10 and L80 max fou. She buster crits.... for 14.000. Immediately NOPED out of there and pressed the EAM button

 

If i had to pick a female Buster servant to play with, Jalter, Raikou, and Ibaraki is my top pick as a whole. Rider Alter is neat for AOE. Obviously Lalter destroys Kuro

Arts weakness bosses is just asking to have Archuria and Saberlot dropped into their face

I'm on Helena, with Magical Girl Iskandar and a friendly Drake as my main DPS.

It's been working well, tbh the bosses are so easy you don't really need the damage CE at all...  I might eat my words on the later bosses, of course, but for now I guess I'm sticking to this.
