My User ID is 327,166,643, username of Sen if anyone wants to add me. My support line-up is mostly mediocre for anything but grinding at current, but it's still a work in progress. Currently I'm just saving up SQ/Tickets for the Valentine's Day rate ups and just waiting for the Valentine's Event in general because I need Octuplet Crystals and Forbidden Pages. It would have been fine if the Guts skill lasts 3 turns (compared to the 5 turns of Battle Continuation). That would make it way more flexible to use and give Gawain a true insurance if he should face the danger of being killed. Considering his class and rarity, he has too much competition. ST damage? Rama has better Charisma, ST Buster NP, Guts and can deal hefty crits. Or how about the other 4* Saber that comes along with him and completely blows him out of the water in terms of damage (aka Saberlot)? AoE NP? Saber Alter has a much higher multiplier and her Mana Burst is not situational. That's just direct comparisions though. Other 4* Saber like D'Eon or Nero have other niches but do that properly compared to Gawain. Gawain is overall pretty bad. Fergus has the advantage of being more durable plus he has realistic access to NP5 compared to him. Not to mention having an NP interlude and an actual useful effect just makes him more reliable in any stage of the game while Gawain will only be decent under sunlight. He has serious competition by a 3* that the majority just forgot he existed to begin with. That doesn't cut it, especially since he is almost as selfish as Fergus. imo he is only better than Lily and Siegfried and that's pretty insulting for one of the strongest Servants in Extra. That's pretty harsh, though they're probably on good terms since he was serving under her as a retainer in Extella. I haven't played Extra but from what I know about it, Gawain's master is Leo Harwey, a huge snot that looks down on anyone other than himself. And Gawain, zealous as he is, probably had some of Leo rubbing off on him. Don't servants reflect the personality of their masters to an extent? But it was the original version of Jalter. And the acquistion method was so questionable for many reason. BUDGET WAVER GOGOGO Eh, that seems excessive. I would rather do this. Instinct A -> Avalon EX - Gain Critical Stars (max. 20 stars) - Grants Invincible for 3 hits - Charges own NP gauge by 20% There. Much more self-sustained with the ability to support your team with Charisma and decent Star gain plus she can spam her NP more often. Considering Instinct should have been an Evade skill (because that's how Saber survives 99% of her battles) this should stay true to her presentation in FSN. I can live with d’Eon being niche, especially when people like Fionn exist who do absolutely nothing useful at all without heavy investment. Summer Mordred had awful NP gain until she got an update that gave her NP spam potential. Fionn *could* do the same thing with his strengthen skill if they’d only fix his NP gen. But even then he’d still be mediocre compared to KA-KA! @Zeratul So a more defensive Pioneer of the Stars?
