Giving Sumia limited options and butchering Chrom's one is just lame, especially since they tried to force the two together with the opening and the cutscene of them. Sumia pretty much lost any story relevance after Lucina entered the picture.

I still pair them because it is a nice couple if you look only through their interactions in the story and their special conversation. But that's it.

I just liked Olivia more for Chrom. The only problem with them for me is that Olivia's join time is too late for their supports to actually be seen if you marry them.

Bold: That's the number one thing with Chrom/Olivia that makes me facepalm and think "What were they thinking?!? Oh wait, that's right - they weren't!". It does NOT help that it's a pain in the ass to set up gameplay wise, and worse yet, isn't very rewarding for either Lucina or Inigo.

I think their supports were actually well written though, and I prefer Sully and Maribelle with other guys. My Robin always marries her Freddy Bear. And I didn't like the Sumia support. So Olivia was the last option, and when I actually saw the supports later on, I enjoyed them.

That was my biggest issue with Olivia. Like, you have to have them try to get a C-rank, while no other pairing happens. Its way too hard, especially since the game tries to make you support characters more. A new player that wants Olivia and Chrom would never realize that they have to keep other girls away from Chrom.

I didn't have any problem doing it, but I agree that it should've been handled better.

Well if you like her, there is bound to be some form of attack speed booster like Hasty Attacks- just make sure she gets it and all is good.

Heads up, that naked posters line IIRC was in the English translation only, I don't think the Japanese had anything as humiliating. Whether the nude posters line is referenced depends on the translators- if they choose to copy the Japanese exactly, we won't get it. If they choose to adapt the Japanese in line with the localization of Awakening, then we might see it.

I don't mean to be critical in the slightest, we all interpret characters from various forms media in line with what we ourselves are. We don't necessarily project our entire selves or our perspectives onto all people or all worlds in real life or in fantasies, but we all do it to some extent at least some of the time. I admit to doing it myself.

The latter, actually. I didn't notice the characteristics until I viewed more of his supports later, and this was well after I married Robin to him and stuff. I started loving him as soon as I got their B-S supports as well as a couple of his supports with Chrom. lol

However, he's the only favorite character of mine that I see Asperger's in. I wouldn't say I'm much like any of my other favorites. I share bluntness and being no good with talk with Ike, but other than that, he's nothing like me.

IMHO, the supports themselves could've been better, but to each their own.

Ditto. It's a serious pain in the ass to set up, and worse yet, it's not really that rewarding, either for Lucina or for Inigo. And that's not even getting into the fact that because Olivia joins at level 1 with bases similar to those of a unit that joined in the freaking prologue, unless you dance grind her, you're likely getting a gimped Lucina out of it. Joy. Oh, and the dual strike boost Chrom gets is wasted.

Agreed that it should've been handled better - why the hell is Olivia shoehorned into chapter 11 in the first place??? I think it'd have been better had she joined at the end of chapter 10.

The way I see it, is that Cordelia does not have the guts to directly ask out Chrom. She has this elaborate fantasy of him, and would not make a move on him to preserve  that fantasy. True, she does have survivor's guilt, and low self-esteem, to her action and her body. But I don't think that she fears death. Her death quote in Awakening is “I did my best, but that wasn't good enough. I'm leaving now...”. Not the response of someone that fears death.

It is still early to  say a character made the game or not, We don't even know the release date yet. Considering the size of the fan base, (and my love for her), if would be a mistake to not put her in the game.

I have a hard time seeing them not including her, to be honest. There's still a spot or two left for Awakening characters while still leaving plenty for Shadow Dragon and Fates.

I would personally like to see some minor characters next, however. How about Oboro? Everyone likes her.

Nintendo of America & KT of America might push different things than the FE Musou account which may I remind you is only in Japanese, there is no English equivalent, imagine if someone was only following English sources, they'd know even less than we do currently. 

I know the internet is a thing, but some people do like their sources being only in English haha.
