Thinkin' about you + pretty catchy, especially around the prechorus + nice rap and chorus • this sounds like something I'd hear in the mall tbh 2. Thanks + love the beginning and the chorus especially gomawo + I like the instrumentals too - the rap is kinda jarring 3. 지금 널 찾아가고 있어 + oh boy I love the rock instrumentals. it reminds me of dreamcatcher which is always good. - that ended kind of abruptly? 4. Falling For U + I like the chill-ness of the instrumentals and the softness of their voices + I also like the way they say falling for u 5. Intro. shinsekai + pretty cool sounding 6. Change Up + the instrumental during the chorus is pretty ok - idk what change up means - did he just say "ew"? ew - I really dislike the weird vocal gymnastics in some raps 7. 모자를 눌러 쓰고 + really pretty music and vocals + i like the byeonhaebolkka hae line 8. 박수 + gwaenchana gwaenchana, ireon ildeul manjana + probably my favorite seventeen + i wanna dance every time i hear this but i can't dance + the rap parts are pretty ok too 9. 날 쏘고 가라 + pretty cool sounding ngl + it's rly different from the usual seventeen but i like it • lmao the contrast between this song and the image of seventeen i have 10. 13월의 춤 + I like the beginning a lot - I feel like they could've done something better with the chorus 11. Trauma + idk what instrument is used throughout the song but i like it + i love the chorus + the rap is pretty good too other than vernon lol - not the brr brr parts 12. 바람개비 + i'm pretty sure kim showed me this some time before bc it reminds me of fight song it's good 13. Flower + I love the vocals and instrumentals + Idk what it is, but the chorus kind of reminds me of some old vocaloid song 14. ROCKET + i reluctantly find it catchy - the rap is worse than usual - the "ooh zooM" part is lol - I don't really like this rapper's voice in general, sorry vernon 15. glxcie Posted March 11, 2018 Share Posted March 11, 2018 omg i love jasmin i need to catch up with nct again Spoiler i completely forgot to talk about wjsn’s comeback on the 27th..,, im in love the bluish filter on the music video was alright tbh i read the comments and a lot of people thought it was sore on the eyes,, but the effect was pretty and im glad the concept is similar to Secret than Happy which i felt didn’t really suit wjsn. (happy is still a bop though dont get me wrong) i loved the song itself, like secret it had a slow pace and there was a tiny, if not no drop into the chorus which made it very different. i thought the bridge was interesting! the flow of xuan yi > eunseo > luda > yeoreum wasnt anything ive seen before - im happy they tried something new to improve the mood of the song. and omg mei qi in the last chorus was so unexpected! i love her voice and i’m glad, even though it was only 3 seconds long, that she got a part in the chorus. one complaint i have is dawon, or therefore, lack of. she barely got proper screentime or lines really, im kind of upset considering she suits the concept a lot (see: secret, where she actually got fair lines and screentime). hopefully she can shine next time... but then again, this is a big group so starship has to be wise with who they promote. the b side tracks are nice as well! if you haven’t listened to them then totally check them out. love o’clock is fun and catchy, starry moment was cute and happy, and thawing i felt was appropriate for this season. but my favourite has to be renaissance. it has a secret/miracle feel, and it’s possibly my favourite wjsn b-side so far. overall, it’s a beautiful mini album and definitely worth the ~8 month wait for wjsn’s new album.
