maninbluejumpsuit Posted October 9, 2017 Share Posted October 9, 2017 Numerous times in my recent awakening playthrough, im seeing enemy ranged units pass up on attacking perfectly open melee units in favor of attacking the adjacent Tharja who has higher Def, and Res, and with Nosferatu equipped. Kuroi Tsubasa Tenshi Posted October 11, 2017 Share Posted October 11, 2017 That's some really strange behaviour compared to what I normally see. Did your other units have a ton more Avoid? What I find is that the AI tends to prioritize damage above almost all else (meaning they can't be baited into attacking melee with high defenses, unlike many previous titles). However, there's a certain point where, if the AI unit's Hit is too low (<=20 listed, IIRC), it'll start looking for other targets—even if they would do less damage to said targets.
