Captain Karnage
I was having a shower thought in the shower, and I was wondering why don't archers just get new arrows. maybe they'll make it a thing in the next FE game where we buy arrows instead of new bows edit: please move to general FE Edited October 13, 2017 by Captain Karnage

Interdimensional Observer
Berwick Saga separated Arrows from Bows as equipment, Bows still have durability though, it just so happens arrows have uses too and you can mix and match them. I know in Awakening the arrows look different for each type of bow, idk about Fates...
Limstella
Bows can break too though.

Lord Chrom of Ylisse
I don't see the point. As Rezzy mentioned the number of uses each bow has can be thought of as how many arrows it has available for use.
FRZNHeir
The type of bow in real life has an effect on the power of the shot. But you do present a very good point.
vanguard333
I'm pretty sure the bow breaking in Fire Emblem is referring to the actual bow breaking, not just simply running out of arrows. If they don't have weapon durability in the next game, they could use arrows as a way to balance archers. They could have iron arrows, steel arrows, silver arrows, bodkin arrows (anti-armour), broadhead (anti-beast and cavalry), etc.

Break the bows and arrows into two subsets that you can mix-and-match and the bow becomes a much more interesting weapon type!
