Dorcas was third in FE7, which clearly means he won't get the +10 growths, but he'll get a unique weapon or skill (Devil Axe: 16 Mt, 1 Range. Sigurd was completely busted in his own game, so I'm perfectly fine with his higher BST. As long as it doesn't become a habit for new, popular units, I'll be fine with it. He also feels like a unit that shines in cavalry teams. Camus/Xander had issues absorbing magic, and the other ranged units are pretty glassy. IMO he fills that niche nicely. I was talking in case someone had a spare Ike obviously, like I have a spare BIke with... no one to give his SBreath to... No, I won't give it to BK. However, Sigurd's kit seems designed to counter magic, so +HP gives a little more survivability, while -Def isn't really relevant when tanking mages. I am equally interested in all three of them: in Sigurd because he is a badass, in Deirdre because she is a cutie and I never got Julia, and in Tailtiu because I want to save her from her horrible fate she never deserved. Sigurd was technically the one weapon type I didn't need - red cavalry was already taken care of by Luke/Leo, and swords by a lot of people. However, his kit and his stats amuse me. I'm going to take a completely different build on him, one day. When I pull another Ogma or something. Deirdre would've been the one that helped me the most. My green mages consist of Robin, Camilla, and Nino. Robin sometimes dies to Rein. Camilla survives thanks to TA, and Nino isn't meant to bait. A Res-heavy green infantry mage would've been perfect. Tailtiu would've had to compete with Lucina, Corrin, Ursula, Shigure, and technically Nino. Even though Lucina is barely above Odin in terms of oomph, she can output enough damage to be useful. Corrin's partly utility and partly for the flying team. Shigure doesn't nuke things, he's sheer utility. Ursula's a huge part of my cavalry rush. I wouldn't bring Nino and Tailtiu at the same time, unless I was absolutely certain that neither of them would take a hit. Arvis will be extremely useful. The only 5* red mage I have is Leo. So even if my priority should've been Deirdre in terms of straight gameplay, I grab characters based on who I like. . .and that happens to be stupid sexy Sigurd. Soren does my Reinhardt duties when I need him to. I’m not exactly lacking in red mages with Lilina, Celica, and Tharja as my 5★s, but Arvis is always welcome, the magnificent dastard. But if I had to choose the sexiest Jugdrali (is this how the demonym if Jugdeal is formed?), I’d go with Ayra. The girl is almost perfect.
