This caused mass chaos as logical consistency was removed from the world. Then Palkia inexplicably died from a glitch. Dialga attempted to turn back time only to hear the dreaded phrase "it's no use", as it was prevented from doing anything of value and thrown back. Every time Dialga did anything, and in fact several times when it didn't, it was thrown back. Dialga was locked in a cycle. A cycle caused by an untested system being released on reality. The latter because his world was a perfect blend of medieval and modern AND he could see the future and warn everyone if it was dire.
