My thoughts-

Summer Takumi- "Feel that ocean breeze!" I really like how happy he sounds, and it goes really well with his art.

Kinishi Hinoka- "Clear the mind..." I like how calm she is in this quote, as if she's concentrating- it just goes really well with the arrow firing animation.

Legendary Ryoma- "We duel!" To be honest his quotes aren't that exciting compared to his normal form and feel too short/direct/obvious. That said, I like how he says "We duel" because it's very samurai-esque. Plus it still fits even if you give Ryoma a different sword instead of Raijinto.

Summer Takumi - “Feel that ocean breeze” Quite fitting for the oddly cheerful Takumi. 

Hinoka - “I won’t need a second arrow” I feel this is the only one which really has a punch to it, as all of her other quotes are just Hinoka reassuring herself. Plus it’s all the more effective should she KO.

Ryoma - “My name is Ryoma” I like how intimidating this can come across, especially considering that most of the characters he’ll fight against might not know who he is.

Odd. I love Ryoma's voice lines (bias for va possible) but looking at them on paper, they're just so dull looking. I went with 'An opening' but he says them all in a pretty short, sharp way that suits all of his crits.

Takumi - 'Drown already' - I love this frustrated sounding line. Plus I always prefer crit lines that actually sound like some kind of attack.

Hinoka - 'I won't need a second arrow' - loving the confidence of this line.

"Drown already" is pretty damn good, especially with how happy he sounds when he says it in Japanese. 

"Hit your target, Hinoka" is the best Hinoka line ever, because the localization finally aknowledged her habit of giving herself pep talks.

"We duel", atlhough I am mostly neutral on the lines overall, this one fits him well.

Given your sig, @Nanima, I thought you'd choose "I won't need a second arrow" for Hinoka :))

Legendary Ryoma's lines leave a bit to be desired, especially compared to my perennial favorite from the OG version ("May your blood crust my blade"), but out of the three, I'll just choose "We duel" and call it a day.

I'm going with "Hit your target, Hinoka" for her Kinshi iteration. It's confident sounding, although I think I pick up a hint of uncertainty as she tries to psyche herself up. Which makes the quote all the more appealing.

Lastly, I pick Summer Takumi's "Drown already," in contrast to THAT quote from his OG version.

Oh I like that one too. I just really love how "Hit your target, Hinoka" brings back some characterization that originally got lost during localization. :)

I went with

Drown Already- That just sounds Takumi like to me, but I am also not his biggest fan so . . .

Clear the Mind- Her pep talk to herself sounds a bit to aggressive to me, and I won't need a second arrow just sounded kinda clunky to my hears.

An Opening- Pretty much all of them are kinda boring, but I liked this one best. Kinda of a toss up between this and We Duel though.

My thoughts-

Spring Alfonse- "I'll open the way...to spring!" Nice callback to regular Alfonse's special quote.

Spring Sharena- "Here comes the sunshine!" I like how it's different from the usual spring quote which are usually shared within units.

Spring Kagero- "Ninjabbit attack!" Clearly her best one, easy choice. Plus she sounds so serious about this, too.

Spring Sharena - "Here comes the sunshine!" how could you beat the special skill quote with this much happiness in it?

Spring Kagero - "I will survive." I don't like Ninjabbit attack, it just sounds weird for me.

Al - 'Spring, the season of rebirth!' - I really like the intensity with which he says this line. Not sure why, but it makes me laugh. I do enjoy his other quotes, too. I think he has a good voice actor :) 

Sharena - My gosh, she's just too adorably happy in all of her quotes. I went with 'I'm hopping your way' due to her obsession with hopping... but they're all so fun and happy :D 

Kagero - ' Ninjabbit Attack!' - This line is just ridiculous. Love it!

Alfonse - I'll open the way. . .  to spring. Just seems like a very Alfonse thing to say. Given that is his old quote he clearly nearly forgot he was supposed to say something springy. So he just tagged it on at the end. Oh Alfonse. . . what would your sister say?

Sharena - I'm hopping your way gets my vote due to having my favorite delivery.

Kagero - Not only is Ninjabbit Attack adorable, but her other quotes are kinda lackluster. So no contest here.

My thoughts-

Quan- "You'll regret this." Even though mentioning Gae Bolg makes that quote more unique for him, I really like how his VA mentions "You'll regret this." Very strong performance that makes you feel like thinking twice before attacking him.

Ethlyn- "I'll protect you!" I really like how this is so different from the other healer lines, love her performance of both desperation but also a strong urge to do her job. One of those lines where I really wish we had healer specials that use these quotes.

Lewyn- "Forseti's rage!" With that full screen animation that Forseti has, this is really the perfect line to say before unleashing his reverse Desperation tome.

Quan - “You face the Gae Bolg!” I really like hearing Gae Bolg here. I can’t help it. 

Ethlyn - “I’ll protect you!” Ethlyn almost sounds like she’s crying here, which makes me think this takes place before she and Quan ultimately pass. Really well delivered line.

Lewyn - “Sorry, but this is the end.” Also liked this one a lot. I’m usually a sucker for the weapon mentions but I wasn’t really feeling “Forseti’s Rage”.

Quan - You'll face the Gae Bolg! (Who doesn't love hearing a Weapon in a Skill quote?)

Ethlyn - Until the very end (Quotes like "To the end" are always some of the best to me)

Lewyn - Just Give Up (I looovee cocky guys)

Quan - 'For my allies' - Honestly, I love all of his quotes. I think they picked a really good VA for him and all of his lines work really well. This one was just ahead of the rest for me - I like the promoting of bonds :)

Ethlyn - 'I'll protect you' - Not as keen on her voice, but I like the sentiment behind this one :) 

Lewyn - 'Forseti's Rage!' - This one feels really right for the younger him. I love the way he says it :)

My thoughts-

Bridal Ninian- "Even if it seems hopeless." - Brianna Knickerbocker is one of the best female VAs in this game, and her Ninian performance is outstanding especially in the bridal version. I like how this quote is hopeful even if she mentions the word hopeless- it's a really nice, positive and heartwarming quote. One of my favourite performances.

Bridal Tharja-" Love is a curse." - Well, curses and Tharja fit together so this was the most obvious pick for me.

Bridal Sanaki- "Unforgivable impertinence! "- Not really impressed with her lines, and this one seems the most Sanaki-like anyway.

Ninian - This is my vow! (I find it fits her Skill Artwork the most)

Tharja - Together forever! (I've always loved the deliver of that line. It says something that I can hear it in my head and I don't even have a Bride Thrarja)

Sanaki - And some MORE love! (Mainly because she has a quote saying "Take my love" and it would be really funny if she proc'd her Skill twice in a turn and said these right after each other. I also just like how she says it)

Ninian - A really hard choice between “This is love!” and “This is my vow!”. Went with the former. 

Tharja - “Make your pledge” I liked how Tharja sounds more threatening than just creepy.

Sanaki - “Unforgivable impertinence!” Kinda the only one that stood out honestly.

My thoughts-

Maribelle- "I will RUIN you!" I love this quote as it shows Maribelle's attitude and is not just a dainty healer. A lot of her lines are great, if only healers used these lines more.

Libra- "Repent, sinner!" Has the perfect balance of a religious reference with the fact that it's something you don't want to hear when facing an axe like that. I love LIbra's voice, it has the perfect balance of kindness/peace but also someone you don't want to mess with in battle.

Sumia- "Coming through!" Her lines are a little bit basic but I like this one the most.

Maribelle - “You have angered me! C’mere!” This one made me chuckle. I like how she delivers it in an ironic, sweet manner.

Libra - Okay, I didn’t care for Libra’s voice back in Awakening, and I still don’t to this day. For me it sounds especially raspy and guttural this time so I feel it’s even worse. Regardless, “Repent sinner!” is a classic line so it gets my vote.

Sumia - Really bummed that my favorite girl doesn’t really have anything interesting, but oh well. “My turn!” I thought was cute.

Maribelle - Big Mistake (carries over from Awakening)

Libra - Repent Sinner (also carries over from Awakening)

Sumia - My Turn (I heard her say this in Awakening PLENTY since she was always on the back end of a Pair Up but her quotes are overall meh)

Maribelle's va is great. I love all her lines so much :D I went with 'Big mistake' since it's just so amazingly haughty :D 

I don't really care much for Sumia and her lines feel pretty generic. I went for 'I'll end this now' just because I like the more determined quotes, especially with that kind of character. 

Libra - I really hate when they give a guy a female voice actor just because he's meant to look feminine. It never sounds good. Not keen on his voice here, but he has good quotes. I went for 'In Naga's name' as it really suits him as a character.

My thoughts-

Summer Tana- "Feel the summer sun!" I just really like the way she says this and it really fits with her very summery artwork.

Summer Innes- "Behold my breaststroke!" Easily the most memorable, and again, it really fits with the very aquatic-focused artwork that he has.

Summer Linde- "Divine sea, heed me!" I like how it alludes to her nornal version's "Divine radiance, heed me!". I like those alt special quotes.
