Listing the pros and cons for each class:

Falcon Knight: Pros - Amazing speed and access to staves. Warding Blow can be used to sponge up Magical Attacks with ease thus making him an effective mage killer in this class.

Cons - Lance/Naginata Locked so you'll have trouble against Axes/Clubs. And the staves/rods won't really be that useful since he suffers from a low magic growth. But nonetheless he should make good use of staves/rods since he starts off with a D rank so he can use mends/sun festals right off the bat.

Kinshi Knight: Pros: Can use two types of weapons in lances/naginata and bows/yumi so they won't suffer the same problems as falcon knights in them being lance/naginata locked. Has two useful skills in air superiority and amateratsu. air superiority gives hit/avoid + 30 when facing other flyers which is useful when fighting other falcon knights considering their high speed/avoid. Amateratsu is a nice support skill that heals 20% hp near adjacent allies.

Cons: Suffers from low defense meaning they're more susceptible to bows which is quite ironic considering they can use bows themselves. They have high luck but not as high speed meaning yes they can avoid many critical hits, but if they're faced against swordmasters and berserkers, they may need some team support to help them defeat certain daunting enemies.

Overall this list may not be very accurate, but I would go for the kinshi knight due to them not being lance locked and considering that they can heal allies with their skill without the use of a stave, thus not wasting a turn. Also it may give Jakob good offensive potiental.

I would prefer Falcon Knight as he will have great utility as a Rally Speed/healbot and will have decent staff utility. His combat as a Kinship Knight would be pretty mediocre
