I see. But Agitha shouldn't be going down THAT fast... Not so fast that I can't get to her in time to heal her. And yeah, when you first start the whole game, everyone's lv. 1. Obviously. That's kinda how it always works, I would think.

Might have been a Deku Baba (iirc there's one around the southwest portion of the map, but it is not in the path Agitha takes when she is being escorted early on). And my level comment was because iirc Lana starts at level 10.

Maybe, I dunno. I'll just have to try again and see exactly what's going on with Agitha at that point.

And I checked all the characters when I first booted the game up though, they were all lv. 1. I also remember boosting Lana a bit before starting to use her so she was on par with Link, Impa, and Sheik who are available in the story before her. Remember, this is the new Switch version. It could be doing this particular thing differently than the Wii U or 3DS ones did.

Fair enough. Have you been finding heart containers and pieces? (You're not gonna be able to get the container in that stage on your first run anyway; it's out of reach)

Yeah, but they only apply to the characters that found them. So that doesn't affect Agitha. And I see.

Okay. You're gonna need to come back with the Hookshot, which you get in the next stage. You also need it for the first spider in the first OoT stage. Assuming you can even get a clear shot to get it without your base being in danger, that is.

I see. And you mean gold skulltula? Okey dokey then.

Also, I dunno what exactly I did differently aside from taking the twilight-covered bases faster this time, but Agitha's health didn't get low at all here and I finished the scenario with little problem. Oh well, moving on then. :P

Yeah, that's what I meant. And for that stage, you might find it in your best interest to go for the west keep first. Your commander will move through that keep eventually... and it's best you open it beforehand. Also, it allows you to potentially beat the enemy to one of the two keeps you want to keep control of.

Well, that's good. If you need any more help, I'll see what I can do.

Thing is, this is fucking EASY mode. I shouldn't need help! If I repeatedly need help on the easiest difficulty, I probably have no business playing this game or maybe any other Warriors game.

And I'm just having more and more trouble now in later scenarios too. So I'm thinking of calling it quits. I'm not sure what's going on, I got a lot farther in the story in the Wii U version. Maybe I got lucky there or something, I don't know. Shame too, I really liked the game. But if I come to a point where I just can't seem to progress and am just getting annoyed with it, I'm better off playing/doing something else.

It could simply be that the difficulty is scaled up to match the fact that you now have control over multiple commanders than just one in each scenario.

I wouldn't think that - I suppose it could be that they scaled up the difficulty. How did you find FEW's story in terms of difficulty? Anyway, if it's really giving you trouble, I'd take a break and cool down.

I definitely found FEW's story easier than this on the easiest difficulty. Though that could be due in part to using the hell out of Frederick who would eventually just wreck everything. I only ever had a little difficulty in the final chapter vs Velezark. I'm using a lot of different characters in HW, though partly because a lot of scenarios require different ones.

But the difficulty could've been scaled up a bit from the Wii U version, I suppose.

It's nice to finally get to be able to use characters like Marin, Toon Zelda, and Ravio. I unlocked Yuga but haven't played him yet.

These hard mode skulltulas can be a real pain, especially since failing means you need to spend probably another 20 minutes or so retrying. I just tried to get the one on the 2nd OoT map where you have to use Impa with a giant blade and beat King Dodongo without Ruto, Darunia, or Sheik dropping below 50% health and I could swear I did that but the skulltula never showed. The assault troops did reach Darunia which I think made him lose a chunk of health (even though I had actually killed them before the message even popped up that they reached him...), but he never appeared to go below 50% even though it was close.

Also Ganon in Ganon's Fury takes way more damage from generic enemies than something like that ever should.

Speaking of... don't tell me Toon Zelda needs Ganon materials... because that made her the single most annoying character to max in the other two versions. Also, I would say the worst Skulltula to get imo is the one in Liberation of the Triforce. Assuming the requirements are the same as in Legends, you cannot allow anyone to fall under 30% health... which gets troubling once you get to Ganondorf since at this point the enemy army gets boosted morale. You don't have to defeat him before retaking the Castle Keep, but if Ganondorf advances too far north, which triggers the prompt "Ruto is fighting with Ganondorf!", you might as well restart.

Fuck Agitha. I can't believe how WORTHLESS she is. She keeps dying and costing me battles. Mere seconds after I take out the commandos that are moving towards her, she dies. And if she doesn't, the allied base falls instead. What the hell is with this Palace of Twilight battle? I can't protect both the base and Agitha at the same fucking time! I can only play as one character.

I've been trying this several times and on fucking EASY mode. It should NOT be this stupid. Why does Agitha have to remain alive anyway? FEW didn't make you lose the entire fight if you lost a character.

Ya sure you can’t swap? I have yet to get there myself, but I got a friend who has. Given that you have two paths to cover, it would seem like you should be able to.

You can't swap until after that part. I think you have to get to the part where Keep Saboteurs show up before you can swap.

I do kind of agree, the game feels a bit harder than it did before. I've always done normal mode first, and it feels like enemies might be taking more hits this go around, even with a more powerful weapon.

Yeah, I'm still having way too much trouble, even with stronger weapons. I've decided to quit. I'm tired of getting frustrated every five minutes. FEW didn't give me such a headache. It was easier and more fun. Plus it has Frederick.

I actually managed to A rank all of Ganon's Fury. Got tons of Lana and Link silver materials along the way (I think I got 60 something Link Boots from Survival lv 4).

Cucco's Fury...whoever made this was probably laughing the entire time. Getting 100% in this game is going to hurt.

So were the boss costumes for the chosen ones and sorceresses moved back to Challenge mode?

I could imagine - ravaging enemy ranks with a ginormous Cucco sounds like a riot.

Pretty sure all of the costumes are locked behind Adventure Mode.

Anyone else experiencing a really annoying bug that causes your characters to randomly drop dead for no reason, even if they're full health? Nothing is touching them that should be doing so much damage. It's happening to me a lot on this adventure mode map that has Dark Impa, Sheik, and Zelda as enemies as well as two Mandhandlas.

For whatever reason, no matter who I use or how leveled up they are, this bug happens.

Oh yeah, and I did say I'd quit before, but... I guess I just didn't feel like staying away from the game any longer. But I might reconsider now...
