 I was reading some manga where this girl gains invisibility powers, and begins following the protagonist because she's in love with him. For some reason, protag's the only one who can see her when she's invisible.

Some idiot commented that the protag should rape her since he's the only one who could see her. People replied saying that's pretty screwed up, and others actually came to defend him. They point they made was, "conflict helps change our world so rape is good". Like, what the fuck.

Another was someone saying a song was stupid because the line, "the sky is falling" or sometthing like that, makes no sense. Apparently songs have to literal, and a good example of it was "the element song".

Lmao, what the fuck indeed, I never would think that people would actually defend someone like that and also make a ridiculous point that made no sense. People are weird.

I saw on Facebook someone make a post about how dairy products are unethical because milking a cow is literally raping them. I think that's a bit of an extreme reach, to say the least. The comments section was wild, especially because other people were agreeing with OP and it was just completely terrible. Some people are nuts, man.

I was always under the impression that not milking a cow was causing it pain.

While we are not a veterinary organization, which would be the best source, I have lived on a dairy farm my entire life and can hopefully help clarify it for you.

In general, if a milking animal is not milked for an extended period of time (more than 1 or 2 days for a cow giving a normal volume of milk – dairy cows are typically milked two or three times per day), they are likely to become ill and may develop mastitis, which is an inflammation and infection in the udder. There is no reason however that a normally functioning dairy farm would not milk their cattle on a regular schedule. At the end of their lactation (which typically lasts 305 days), when cows are giving a minimal amount of milk, dairymen cease milking them for their “dry period.” This is different from just not milking the cow, which may cause to be sick, because a cow is naturally giving less and less milk, and is “dried off” as sort of a vacation before she has her next calf and begins milking again. Dry periods typically last about 60 days.

When Miiverse was still around. Back in 2015 when I got Mario Kart 8 me and some other guy was arguing about the best Mario Kart. I said Mario Kart Wii is the best Mario Kart, and the dude said Mario Kart 8 was the best Mario Kart, in the end he blocked me.

Here's another one, once again on Miiverse.  Back in 2014 me and another guy was arguing about the best game in the Super Smash Bros. Franchise I said that Melee was the best, and that guy said that Smash 4 was the best, but then things got heated. We exchanged swear words at each other, a TON of it. Back then I was new to the internet so I didn't know it was wrong. But we both recieved two week bans. I deleted my NNID from that 3DS and created a new one the same day and went back there, as a changed person, never got banned from there on and the guy who started the flame war served his full sentence.

I watched people argue over who should and shouldn't go to thrift stores. It was this one person who started it all by basically saying that anyone with a lot of money shouldn't be allowed to shop at thrift stores because they are taking away from people who don't have money and who had no choice but to shop at thrift stores. They also attributed these types of people to being entitled and oppressing minorities. Tons of people argued with them and told them the rational side of the argument, that it's stupid to even say anything like that because anyone should be allowed to go to thrift stores if they want to. But this person kept responding by saying it was just elitism and racism in America, and that if you did that you were a terrible person. I swear, it was the stupidest, most pointless thing I've ever seen in my life. It was on Tumblr, which isn't all that surprising. It's part of the reason why I can no longer tolerate the entire website and had to leave to save my own sanity.

There was this one time in my life that I was a member on this website "Serenes Forest".  At every release of new characters, they would engage in spirited, moronic debates over fan service  and overreact to the slightest sexualization of the characters.  It was almost like they wanted them to dress like nuns.  It was hilarious because they would also watch a ton of anime and had likely seen ecchi/harem shows like High School DxD.  I would try to play the voice of reason, but I was ignored in favor of continuing the endless whining.  I decided I would make low-quality troll posts in a vain attempt to get them to see the light.  It failed.

Reminds me a lot of what you quoted. If you need that kind of stuff to cope (yes, "normal porn", too") from being a shitty person, you may have actual problems to deal with.

True. People like them are probably just trying to make a justification as to why watching porn is okay. But honestly its not,  people can live without porn and still not be a shitty person.

Yeah, I mean, it's not to be misunderstood. People can watch porn all they want, and that doesn't necessarily mean they're horrible people. What I'm trying to say is, it's not going to determine whether you want to rape someone or not.

• Is Roshi blowing up the moon in early DB a valid feat for the purposes of power scaling, and does that mean that anyone stronger than early DB Roshi can casually blow up a moon + withstand moonbusting levels of power?
• When Perfect Cell bragged that he had enough power to "destroy the solar system," was he simply boasting that he could blow up the sun? Or was he literally saying that he could create a solar system sized ki blast, and wipe out everything from the inner planets to the kepler belt in a single attack?
• When Eternal Sailor Moon fought Galaxia in the manga and was portrayed as instantly moving from near-earth space to the other side of the god-damn galaxy in a single panel during the fight: was that a mere teleportation technique, comparable to Goku's instant transmission? Or was that pure speed, and therefore a massively faster than light speed feat usable to prove that high end Sailor Scouts are actually faster than high end Z-Fighters? 
• Can it be presumed from the Sailor Scout's ability to project and withstand "crystal power" at magnitudes great enough to envelop planets that they have comparable abilities to withstand the force of physical blows?  i.e. That their durability can comfortably handle getting punched through a mountain and cratered into solid rock, and they wouldn't get instantly bodied by--say--a causal tail flick from Frieza in his weakest form? Or do the mechanics of their verse support a split durability system, as in Fire Emblem (i.e. def vs. res)? May we therefore presume that the Scout's ability to take physical hits in a marital arts brawl tops out at streetfighter level showings, and their ability to withstand massively stronger attacks only works against "magic."
