Ugh so Shadow Rushes are more like arenas than actual timed onslaughts or gold rushes. Not a fan.

How do they play?

Not the biggest fan of the wyvern moveset though.

Too clunky for you?

I guess that's one way to describe it.

I see. I generally find Camilla (and now Minerva) to have a bad time with officers if they don't have WTA because their MythBusters Concerto in C4 is so. God. Damn. Slow. Which means you likely eat a cheap shot if there are multiple enemies around...

Remember Timed Attack? Kinda like that, but instead the commanders are already on the map, and killing them causes enemies to spawn in. Also, escort troops will appear and try to despawn enemies but killing them fixes that. Like Timed Attack, you only got 7 minutes to get that S for time.

Chrom and Lucina probably feel the best to me.

Yes, this exactly. In my head I've decided that Shadow Rushes are the illicit love child of timed attack and arena stages.

Anyone else off put by how similar Cordelia and Linde sound? And, yes, I know they share a voice actress.

Yeah they pretty much sound exactly the same to me. Cindy Robinson (Hinoka and Minerva) sounds completely different with her roles but Julie Ann Taylor sounds like she didn't even try to differentiate.

I'm really pissed that Takumi didn't gain any new supports, when he already was one with the lowest counts (I know Linde is a new lowest count which is just baffling). Yet Leo, the one he was tied with perfectly earlier, does get one.

Leo better get none in the Awakening dlc. Or Takumi get two, if they really want that "retainer" support between Tomato Lord and Owain. Otherwise it's just plain unfair.

Yeah I’m not a fan of Shadow Rushes. They seem rather pointless.

Eh not that much honestly. Julie Ann Taylor is still nice to listen too.
It's better this way than Minerva sounding too much like Hinoka. Thankfully she doesn't.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be funny to put a Gencross attribute on Navarre's weapon?

You monster. I hope you burn in the inferno with Gharnef.

Not sure what you'd have to do on 3DS, but this is how I did it on Switch.

Could take anywhere between a few minutes and several hours, depending on the quality of your internet.

Thank you! The Switch itself downloaded the new version.

Cool to see these new additions but I'm currentlh grinding Lunatic Story Mode and the latest maps of History Mode.

On the other hand, Ryoma and Hinoka got 2 new ones while Xander and Camilla got 0, Lianna's had one less than Rowan since the Fates DLC, and Sakura now has 1 more than Elise.  Edit: Counting things, Hinoka has 8 conversations to Camilla's 5, Ryoma and Xander now have the same number at 10, and Elise and Sakura now both have 7 (apparently I was misremembering).  Lianna and Rowan are still no longer equal.  It's still lopsided, just not as much as I initially thought.

I'm pretty certain they aren't trying to balance out the number of support conversations certain characters get in the DLC.

I find it interesting that Wing Spear is the only weapon right now in the game that can effectively have three slayer effects. I feel that (along with her high luck) makes Caeda way superior to Cordelia and Hinoka since Wing Spear will have armor/mount slayer (from the Rampager skill) and you can slap dracoslayer on her weapon. Caeda can deal with just about everything now except Fighters/Warriors and Lissa.

Yeesh... I'm personally bummed out of Minerva being clone but Geez Louise, the amount of moaning and groaning over at the FE Subreddit is exhausting to look at.

Anyway, besides the whole cloning thing, this is probably a favorite DLC for this game so far as I'm digging all of the character and costume designs.

Well, we don't know if Gungir will have some weird effect.

Huh, funny how the most popular family members of each side have the least amount of supports among them. Considering who they gave costumes, I thought Intsys would be more dedicated towards these two.

The decision process on who receives supports in this game seems to be entirely random to me. That or maybe certain developers like specific characters and want to write supports with them. I mean supports aren't exactly advertised as a selling point of the dlc, so they might have more freedom with them.
