Lord_Brand
I got this crazy idea for a crossover between Fire Emblem and Capcom's Ace Attorney series. Various FE characters are reimagined as crime dramady characters, some as witnesses or suspects, others as attorneys, be they heroic or sinister. Spearheading the heroic attorneys is none other than Owain Dark, cutting through contradictions and dispelling deception with all the flair of a master attorney. The weapon triangle concept of Fire Emblem is represented by a sort of rock-paper-scissors of Law, Emotion, and Logic, used both for investigation and interrogation as well as court room persecution and defense. Many of the cases involve the local national treasure, the Fire Emblem, whether it's the theft of the five stones set within it or a custody battle over ownership of the Emblem itself. eclipse
. . .uh, what is this exactly? Just a random thought? A writing introduction?
Lord_Brand
Hmm, did I post it in the wrong section? If so, my apologies. Would it be possible to move it to the correct forum?
eclipse
Depends on what this is. It will be moved, but I need to know what you want out of this topic.

DarkSoul
As a fan of both franchises, I think that would be truly awesome, just the thought of having characters of Fire Emblem as witnesses, prosecutors, attorneys, judges and criminals, totally cool. The only thing better than that would be an Castlevania crossover with Fire Emblem, another game I'm a big fan.

Mostly, a fun "what if" discussion. I had assumed that, this being the general Fire Emblem board, that a proposed FE crossover discussion would be acceptable, much like the Hyrule Wars topic I made a short while back. In particular I love the idea of Owain as a lawyer, dramatically posing and gesturing while exposing contradictions and putting facts together to turn the case around. I'm also hearing "OBJECTION!" in various FE characters' voices.

Shoblongoo
...fun with crossovers...Halo Emblem At the end of Halo 3, the Master Chief is drifting aimlessly through uncharted space in a cryo pod. Instead of proceeding to the events of Halo 4--he crash lands and thaws out on what turns out to be the World of Elibe. Lyn finds him unconcious in Sacae. The events of FE7 then unfold with Master Chief in place of Mark. Eliwood and Hector and Lyn have an insurmountable advantage over the armies they face not because they have a tactician that comes up with unbeatable strategies. They have an insurmountable advantage because they have a cyborg super-soldier who can punch through castle-forged platemail and walk through fire. Campaign ends at first trip to the Dread Isle. Jaffar gets comically rag-dolled after the iconic: "You mustn't fight that man! He's dangerous." Nergal takes a throwing spear right between the eyes. Eliwood's father survives and everyone goes home--The End. _____________ Fire Emblem 40k A Cadian expeditionary fleet to the farside of the Segmentum Obscuras discovers a populated system of feudal worlds, with pre-industrial human civilizations that have been isolated from the broader galaxy since the Dark Age of Technology. These worlds have no knowledge of The Warp or the Imperium of Man. A surprisingly high segment of the population, however, are latent psykers. Mages, they call themselves. The nations of these feudal worlds are in a perpetual state of primitive warfare, in which before a boy even grows to manhood he can expect to have his character and combat potential tested on the battlefield. Warbands of child soldiers clash with the standing armies of mighty nations and emerge victorious, through the heroic feats of the greatest among them. ...in other words...these are perfect planets on which to scout and abduct "recruit" aspirants for induction into the Adeptus Astartes. The worlds are closely monitored for suitable children. The Blood Angels are granted recruiting privileges for these new worlds to help replenish their diminished ranks after the Tyranid Invasion of the Bael System--Chapter Master Dante himself leads the recruiting expedition. -Child Alm (from the prologue) is selected after standing his ground against Slayde and his knights. He is abducted from Ram village. -Rolph (FE9) is chosen, after killing grown men without fear or hesitation and showing no signs of debilitating mental trauma . He is abducted from the Griel mercenary camp after the sack of Nevassa. -Roy is already 15 years old and well into puberty--his chances of surviving geneseed implantation are greatly diminished. He nevertheless displays all the desirable traits of a full battle brother, and is not yet so developed that geneseed failure is 100% certain. He is abducted after repelling the Bernese army from Ostia. -Marth is already 15 years old and well into puberty--his chances of surviving geneseed implantation are greatly diminished. He nevertheless displays all the desirable traits of a full battle brother, and is not yet so developed that geneseed failure is 100% certain. He is abducted after retaking Castle Altea. The initiates are taken to the Blood Angel's fortress monastery on Bael Primus, mentally reconditioned + pushed to their physical limits, and implanted with the geneseed of the Primarch Sanguinius. They become: ...they are then sent back to their homeworlds to subjugate the feudal populations, and bring them into the greater Imperium. _______Fire Emblem: The Gathering Ashera and Naga are planeswalkers in the Magic: The Gathering setting. As tends to be the case with planewalkers, the mortals of their homeworlds cannot comprehend the nature of their abilities and worship them as gods. Also as tends to be the case with planeswalkers--they draw the attention of older, stronger planeswalkers who like to murderfuck younger, weaker planeswalkers and take their shit. Nicol Bolas shows up on Tellius, takes a liking to the plane, and proclaims that Ashera can eat a dick--its his plane. He is God of Tellius; all will worship him and regard Ashera as his rightful slave. Mayhem ensues.
