Also, I'm a bit disappointed that Tharja is just a red mage again. That means that she'll probably straight outclass her old self, but at the same time, if you're not a whale/mega orb hoarder she'll be worse than her original since you can't merge her easily. I really wish she was a flier like the rest.

I like 3 of the 4 units in this banner. Sanaki's looks very plain, but hey it's there.

Hmm.... I mean skill-wise everyone looks like they'll be interesting. Another flying singer unit, green tome flier... Tharja will probably be good even though she's another red mage. Can't say I really want anyone. Ninian is cute, but I'm not a big fan of that art style. I was trying to figure out why, and then I realized it was Halloween Nowi's artist. I don't really dislike it or like it... Sanaki... We won't talk about her. I do know someone who will probably be pretty happy to get her. Tharja's art looks fine even if the dress design is a little odd. Kind of wish they'd taken the gothic bride thing up a notch and made her look a little more different from her normal self. 

I'm SUPER excited to see what Marth's art looks like. Watch him end up with Lloyd's artist. An axe-cav is going to be nice, and I don't even have to pull for him. And now I can stick him on a team with Bride Caeda! Kind of a bummer that he's the free unit...but at the very least I don't have to pull for him. Yay for saving orbs!

I'm sad Tharja's weapon is PRF, I would have totally inherited it to Witch Nowi to make a makeshift Bride Nowi.  Oh well, pulling for Sanaki, not to take as my own waifu but just cause she's my favorite Tellius character.

Considering that this is a series where players have been able to marry off childish characters, it's yet another poor choice on their part. Really think they could've just made her dress yellow or something and been like "oh she's a flower girl or bridesmaid" and nobody would've had a problem.

I would say this banner is inferior to previous bridal one. At least character design wise. I will aim for Sanaki regardless. I don't need another green tome nor like design of dress that put emphasis on her age (I don't have problem with her being "bride" though. She was  most mature lady (After Titania) in Tellius games and it's not actual wedding event in first place). I will probably take red orbs as secondary colour, especially if it will look like empress could use Atk/SPD bond instead Atk/Res.

Huge downer we didn't get Anna though.

I question how it is that sanaki got a seasonal before Ike, apart from someone at IS having a sanaki fetish, her being 10 - 13 years old does not bother me in the least I feel like elencia would have made more sense as a flying healer.

I would have loved ninian if she was our first seasonal breath unit, why is it that the degenerate wyverns get to dress up for seasonals but actual dragons don't get anything, am I the only one who wanted a cute bride dragon form to go with the cute bride dragon? not pulling because I don't like the art and there just isn't much to entice me too pull, a few minor changes and I would have been all on this one.

tharja, ugly as ever, tainting this banner lowering it's value.

I admit I am somewhat disappointed at marth getting an alt, it was real fun to watch so many squirm over marth alts, but these things must come to an end eventually, at least I can get a kick out of IS unceremoniously chucking him into a TT just to rub salt into the wound.

I give this banner a 3/10 and a hard skip, a real shame to, with just a few tweaks it could have been way better.

Interestingly, while Tharja was a common guess and is on the banner, she actually wasn't either of the silhouettes. The left one was Ninian and the right one was Sanaki.

The Crusades (they are not genocide, but they are still mass murder) are rarely portrayed as horrible in the West, and that happened in real life. America's Manifest Destiny towards the Pacific is often described as a time of progress, but America back then had little regard for the Native American population in the way, and if disease had not decimated the native population before, America's hands would have been stained in even more blood; stains that America did had during that period is rarely mentioned.

I cannot think of positive portrayals of genocide in fiction at the moment, so I am relying on history.

I am going to have to strongly disagree. People are not stupid and they know the difference between fantasy and real life. A lot of gamers kill other gamers and NPCs in games and I do not see them go out there with guns blazing. Lots of people watch incest and rape porn too, but that does not mean they want to bang their real family or an unwilling victim. A lot Pokémon players just barge into NPC's houses, but no one associates burglars with Pokémon players.

Education and dialogue, not censorship, is what helps prevent child marriages, sexual abuse, domestic violence, etc. Stopping people from indulging in their fantasies does nothing except demonizing innocent people who gets turned on differently from you.

You missed his point. It's not that these things make people re-enact that behavior, it's that it affects their view on the subject, such as becoming desensitized to it. You're whatabouting pretty hard here.

America (and, to be fair, many parts of the world) have serious issues regarding nasty things they did in the past. No one wants to be the "bad guy". No one wants to believe that their ancestors could be responsible for horrible things. So many people will invent a more comfortable history for themselves and their family (and their people, as a whole) to justify that they did nothing wrong. They want to ignore it. I'd file this under people not wanting to admit to being descendants of people who perpetrated horrible things -- because they recognize it's horrible.

So you say, but if there's anything I've learned over the past few years, it's that some people are really that stupid. Plus, there are still some sketchy attitudes about this kind of stuff. When you hear news about how a young pretty female teacher assaulted a male teenage student, there are too many people who don't take it seriously and don't really recognize that teacher for the sexual predator that she is. In other words, there are people who have already become desensitized to this kind of stuff. I'm all for education and dialogue, but I don't see any of that really discussed to any extent in a lot of games and anime. It's just there to be blandly "cutesy".

In other words, it's not that I believe people will actually go out and harm actual children because child marriage is portrayed in a cutesy way in the media. I'm worried that if it is pushed in mainstream media as a "normal" thing, people will eventually go "what's the big deal" and we'll become desensitized to why we had such an issue with it in the first place.

I might grab a Sanaki for that B skill now that I think about it; giving it to Julius and watch as his attack decreasing skill synergizes with a consistant defense increasing skill.
