Shigure: Uplifting Artist 

Shigure has easily earned a position as at top-tier lance unit thanks to incredible speed and respectable attack. 33/37 makes him the fastest lance flier and the second fastest lance unit, only being beaten by Summer Cordelia. 33/37 offense also notably rivals Arya, a top tier sword unit. With the Harmonic Lance + in his base kit, Shigure can fire potentially huge specials that can OHKO bulky blues like Nowi and Fallen Hardin in one round; and even green units Hector if they've been weakened enough. Shigure main competition, however comes from Cordelia and Tana: They both have similar stat spreads, and while Shigure is the fastest, their marginally higher attack makes them better users of a certain builds such as Brave Lance and the Heavy Blade seal. Shigure's higher speed however, makes him an arguably better candidate for the Firesweep Lance build. A weakness to archers can be also detrimental especially with Brave Lyn and Halloween Jakob being very popular. Still, Shigure is a very capable and Independent Lance user who can find himself a very worth ally and lethal opponent to face.

A fairly cheap build, this set maximizes Shigure's offensive potential. The Harmonic Lance + is a fantastic weapon, granting a +10 damage when a special triggers. It even has a speed refine to give Shigure more speed. Fury 3, Life and Death 3, or Swift Sparrow are all very good for choices for offense. Fury is notable for syncing well with Desperation; which is the main crux of this set: Being able to KO a unit before they can counter is huge, especially if they are using a Quick Riposte + Distant/Close Counter set. Shigure's high speed means that he can almost certainly double every unit in the game.
