It's mostly the texture I hate, they feel so weird in my mouth (out of context hehheh) so I dont eat them if I can avoid it. 

So anybody know any great brands of butter

I hate onions too.  The taste and the texture makes me want to throw up.

Onions are fantastic, but butter is almost universally fantastic.

Ultimately, it comes down to this. Butter is excellent, but simple, with a single masterfully amazing element which it executes perfectly. By contrast, the onion isn't so simple and therefore is not so readily and universally enjoyed. To put it bluntly, onions have layers.
