Water Mage Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 (edited) Since I placed spoilers in the title, I don’t think this thread will need spoiler tags, anyway looks like someone messed up at Niantic messed up and the new Pokemon was leaked: Look like it might be the new cute Legendary and it seems to be at least a Steel type. It appeared like a regular Pokemon does in Pokemon Go after Community Day in Europe and Asia. When caught it changes into Ditto. On the one hand it might be like with the gen VI mons where it took me what? 2 years to get used to them and recognize some of them had a good design (still going through a similar process with gen VII mons lol); on the other hand... how the hell could this ever look cute to anyone? In all likelihood, it's considered 'ugly cute'. A lot of things that shouldn't be considered cute are. Kingdom Heart's shadows, Teeny Sanguini's from Dragon Quest, the eponymous Metroid species...I can see why people think it's cute. I'm just more amazed that it's actually a legendary. I kind of wonder if the Ditto link is intended like Diancie and Carbink, with it possibly being a callback to the Ditto evo from the GS Beta.
