Chapter 16: 10/124

Fairly complicated as always. Lance, Tate, and Cath were on the left, while everyone else was on the right. Tate handed Roy to Marcus turn 1 so he could recruit Hugh later. General idea was that Lance and Tate went to get the chests on the left side while carrying Cath far enough ahead to steal Red Gems, Sue went to destroy the wall blocking the way to Zeiss, Lugh killed the Manakete blocking the right chests so Ward could get them, then eventually killed Narcian on the last turn after his Delphi Shield was stolen, Marcus helped carry Roy around and tanked Douglas a bit. Managed to steal everything that could be stolen and got every chest except the Mend Staff chest. Sue got a bit more exp than I would have liked but it couldn't really be helped without compromising reliability. Merlinus baited that Purge so Cath wouldn't die, what a hero.

Chapter 16x: 8/132

Holy shit, this was quite the shitstorm of a chapter. First off, Sue can't kill the Bolting Sage, since that causes her to get too much exp, so reliability is fucked cause Lalum/Cath have to dodge a million Boltings now. Second, this could have been done in 7 turns, but then Tate wouldn't have gotten enough exp to go to Illia, so I needed to take an extra turn to have her kill the other Sniper to get enough exp. Additionally, she needed to chip the boss for some exp on Turn 7 but not kill him, then kill him on enemy phase to get enough exp. Finally, Ward is fucking dead, as he got berserked along with Cath so that Tate wouldn't get targeted by the Berserk Staff, so a combination of Bolting, Heavenly Arrows, and Cath eventually did Ward in. RIP in Forsetti, never forgetti.

To Illia we go I guess.

Chapter 17: 4/136

Tate carried Roy to the throne and everyone else went to the arena to get boots money. Literally everyone reached S rank in some weapon type this chapter, Marcus and Tate got S Lances, Lance got S Swords, and Sue got S Bows. Roy also capped level, so pretty eventful chapter. Fae also got a level, yay?

Chapter 18: 4/140

Just Tate carrying Roy to the throne again. Lugh contributes by using BOLTING to kill a merc blocking Tate's way on Turn 3. Marcus reached A Axes so hype.

Chapter 19: 5/145

Roy is 1 tile short of seizing on Turn 4, feels bad man. Also needed Roy to kill the boss so that Tate could go visit the Energy Ring village. He exactly OHKOs her with a Killing Edge crit at 60 hit so uh, more reliable than most fights againt the Chapter 16x boss kappa.

Chapter 7 13/62

I had beaten this chapter in far less turns, well, two less, but I needed a chest key to get the Guiding Ring (Getting Astole down took too long, same with Cath since Roy was preoccupied with Lilina) in chapter 8, which I only realized after hours of throwing myself at a wall. So, went back, beat the chapter again, took a bit longer, and I don't care that it took longer since those two turns will be made up for easily by the speed that I'll be able to rush through chapter 8. Standard blitz, had a couple undrafties buy some stuff, which was faster than sending everyone else off to do it. Speaking of everyone else, I neglected to put stats of my units, I'll do so now.

Chapter 20: 4/149

Fun times. Niime helped out a ton this chapter. She silenced the two status staff druids near the start on Turn 1 with Lalum's help, then Lugh and Tate murdered everything in the main room. Everyone cleared out the remaining enemies next turn while Cath stole the Red Gem from the silenced druid. Roy gets dropped close enough to open the door to the throne room on Turn 3, then Marcus Hammer's the thwomp, and Tate chips the boss with the Silver Lance. She kills the boss on enemy phase and then Roy gets danced to seize after Sue and Lugh get the Sleep Staff and Wyrmslayer. Cath unlocks Yuno's cell so Zealot can recruit her. Merlinus baited all the dudes in the right room away from the main group so they wouldn't bother me, what a hero.

Chapter 13 (7/101): Took a long time to actually finish, but damn if this wasn’t a satisfying clear to actually get done. Fir went on a solo mission for the Body Ring (with a Merlinus punching bag to distract the Paladin for one turn), while literally everybody else (except undeployed Bors) contributed to the charge towards the castle. Barth was used to Rescue + Drop Roy to get him 1 extra movement space, which mattered for Marcus’ movement range. Saul got a lot of EXP by staying on 7 HP and just dodging + counterkilling a bunch of inaccurate Steel Lances/Javelins.

Allen visited the Armory and buys 2 Killing Edges and 2 Killer Lances. Might be overkill but I’d rather be safe in this scenario, I have to go the long way through the next couple chapters anyways and can’t buy more for awhile. SHIN was able to get the bosskill thanks to nobody else being able to actually kill him. Marcus had to Killer Axe a Paladin so he could actually reach though.

In conclusion, Barth did something. I’m just as surprised as you are. ignore that Bors could've done it too

Chapter 14 (8/109): Took about as long as Chapter 13 to get done, honestly. Fir finally pays off. She starts by promoting to Swordmaster, then Saul picks her up and gets danced, so he can drop her ahead with the Light Brand equipped. Roy uses a Torch on Turn 1, then gets picked up by Allen. Chad takes the Torch from Roy and uses it for super-thief-vision, he essentially acts as the team vision for most of the chapter. Allen with Lalum’s help ferries Roy to Saul on Turn 3, who walks him the rest of the way to the throne, with Fir leading the charge against the two Merc groups. She goes on to eventually kill the boss, needing a crit + hit and having two phases to do it, but she goes all tryhard and gets double crits on EP so hey.

Saul has to blow the other two Sleep uses on the Killing Edge Hero; only the first one is technically necessary, but by using both, I can safely get Sophia to the Guiding Ring and even ferry the Silver Card to Saul to buy things half price at the Vendor, which is very nice, so I got a fuckton of Pure Waters and Lightnings. I might miss having that for Douglas, but I can work around him. Shanna goes on a little adventure skirting enemy ranges to get the Warp staff on the last turn since it’s worth a lot to sell, while Miledy gets everything on the left including the Silver Card. Actually got all the treasures except the Silver Blade, at least there’s *some* benefit to how many turns this took.

The Sleep Bishop blew his 3 uses on Allen (miss), Allen (hit), and Saul (miss), then got crit by Fir so he wasn’t a big issue. Allen also obtained + used the Boots before he took his nap.

Chapter 20x: I'm Insane/149

Weapon exp grinding, the chapter pretty much. Went to absurd lengths to let Niime heal twice a turn, every turn, for all 20 turns, which means she's really close to S Staves, which should help in Chapters 23 and 24. Tate and Sue are very close to D Swords, Lance got A Lances and is almost to C Axes, and Marcus is almost to S Axes.

Chapter 21: 8/157

Tate carried Lance over the mountain Turn 1 to help clear out enemies, the Yuno gave Roy to Tate, who gave Roy to Lance, who carried him to the throne. Tate bought 32 BOOTS and a Bolting leaving me with a whole 772 gold to my name. Since Lance can't ORKO Murdock, I had to take an extra turn even though Roy is in range to seize on Turn 7. Everyone was able to use all their boots except Lance and Roy so that's nice I guess.

Chapter 21x: 5/162

Had Tate carry Roy to the throne. Had Yuno and Lugh drop Lalum over the water on Turn 1 so she could follow Roy and Tate to dance them. Lance used boots and everyone else got exp pretty much. Marcus got an amazing level and got S Axes at the time, what a hero.

Chapter 22: 4/166

Oh man, this was a logistical nightmare. 1st, Tate and Lance rescue drop Sue ahead on Turn one so that Lance and Sue can rescue drop Roy another tile ahead on Turn 2. This lets Roy exactly reach the door to the throne room on Turn 3. Marcus carries Lugh up to the right Hero to kill him, and on the left, Niime Silences the Berserk!Druid, then gets danced to put a Sniper to sleep so it won't kill Lalum. Niime then rescues Lalum and Yuno carrying Fae on Turn 2. Lugh kills the right Hero and Niime + Fae kill the left Hero so that Marcus and Yuno can step on the switches. On Turn 4, Tate kills a Druid blocking Roy's path to the throne, and then Lance brings Zephiel down to 4 HP with a double Killer Lance crit so Sue can kill him with the Brave Bow. Cath and Yuno get some treasure and Niime repairs the Rescue Staff before Roy seizes.

Chapter 23: 3/169

RIP 2 turn. It would only be possible if Roy and Lance dodged the status staves on turn 1, which is literally impossible, so yeah. Oh well.

Chapter 24: 8/177

I tried several times to get a 7 turn clear, but Roy would always end up just short on the last turn. Feels bad man.

Lol. Roy's our boy.

Chapter 14x (4/113): Allen runs ahead with Shin in tow, drops him off, and counterkills a couple dudes on EP. Marcus follows behind with Roy in tow to Give him to Allen. Both were assisted by Lalum on turns 1 and 2 respectively. Shin kills the Nosferatu Druid so he can’t attack Roy on Turn 3 EP.

Chapter 15 (8/121): Kinda boring. But it was a good opportunity to feed Roy kills, he really needed the boost. Probably could've done it a turn faster if I hadn't focused on feeding Roy so much or was better about where I’d put Shin/Marcus, but I’ll take it.

Chapter 16 (12/133): An effort, as usual. This felt really sloppy, and I absolutely could’ve seized faster, but I wanted to steal all of Narcian’s stuff, and it gave Allen a chance to get both the Hero and Knight Crests, so I think it was probably worth it for the money? Fir Wyrmslayer’d Narcian, Milady got dragged along to recruit Zeiss who ate both Speedwings ASAP, recruited Hugh for minimum price, the works.

Chapter 16x (6/139): Shin, Allen, and Marcus charged up the right with Roy and Lalum in the saddlebags. On Turn 5, Allen had to get given Roy by Shin, and then KE crit the Sniper (yeah I could’ve Brave Lanced it instead but I gotta get that sword WExp), then get Danced by Lalum to drop Roy near the throne. Had to do a super dumb Brave Lance kill hitting 3 of 4 hits at 49% hit, but at least it wasn’t as dumb as last draft! Zeiss got kills where he could, including both Paladins, he hit Lv 10 so he’ll promote next map.

Chapter 17S (6/145): Zeiss couldn’t kill the boss without an unholy and disgusting amount of rigging (Roy hitting Light Brand on EP at 41%, then a double Killer hit + 1 crit at sub-50 hit with 23% crit, gross) so I just took the extra turn for boots money and reliability. Then Zeiss got a perfect level off the bosskill so you know what, WE TAKE THOSE. Got a billion money at the Arena at least.

Chapter 8 21/83-1=82

With only three combat units, this was pretty much the best I could do since I wanted to grab Lilina and get that Guiding Ring. Lilina got a level, I'll probably end up promoting Dieke very soon Ellen did jack all, and the bad unit trio basically gave me some more equipment mid battle. My original plan was to use Astole to grab the Guiding Ring, and I spent a few hours trying to do that, but then after reading that Chapter 7 had chest keys, I decided to replay Chapter 7, which I then finished a turn faster, to get that Chest Key. Roy recruited Zealot who ran to buy the chest key. That was pretty much the only change aside from a bit of optimization in unit placement. In a bit of a funny twist, the support between Roy and Marcus that I just randomly let happen actually helped out here, since Marcus couldn't deal enough damage to kill the boss, and he would die too fast, however with the support with Roy, he would actually gain critical. His crit chance was 1%. I spent hours trying to get him to crit, and eventually he did. Without that crit, this would've taken 3 or so more turns, so that was fun. I just hope 8x is easier.

Chapter 8x 12/94

Yep, 8x was easier. Still took me a while. Only having one cavalier really bites you. Also, I forgot to deploy Lilina on this map, not that she would've sped anything up and Dieke got some really good levels. Anyways, the boss is a pain to handle, and took a bit of RN burning for Marcus to crit him, and also survive the counter-attack, but otherwise it was pretty simple.

Chapter 9 14/108/

Hey, I'm already breaching triple digits. Gods I am bad at drafts. Not that I care, I have fun doing them. Anyways, this chapter was mostly easy, just a pain to handle Lilina and the boss. Killed Fir and Shin, since I never recruited Sue and Noah died when I replayed Chapter 7, so I missed out on their sweet gear. I gave up trying to rig Lilina levels so she would level speed at some point, since it just wasn't happening. I was going to promote Dieke this chapter, but I ended up using him in almost every turn for attacking so that'll happen next chapter, probably. For once, Dieke killed the boss, since Marcus is really starting to fall off in the boss killing department. Instead of killing the boss, Marcus went off to ensure that I got route B, since earlier Klein recruitment, a higher leveled Gonzolas so I have one less low leveled unit to train, and I drafted Bartre for some reason and I kinda want to have him. I kinda wanted that Killing Bow. Oh well.

Chapter 10B 18/126

Another Roy support with Marcus. They're at B. Cool, that's probably going to be irrelevant soon. Anyways Lilina got speed every level up, when I wasn't trying to rig her to level up speed. The world can be cruel at points. This chapter was a bit of a mess with trying to recruit both Klein and Gonzolas. The G-Man was only a pain since I had to deal with his buddies at the same time, gave Lilina some great Exp. She could actually promote right now, but I think I'll have Ellen promote first since having two combat units right now is going to be better than two staff units. Charged up the center since that gave some more experience, and it was generally less cumbersome. Clarine snuck in to grab Klein, who then killed the mercenary that was chasing her around. Most of Klein's squad died, except for one archer who I now call "The Unkillable Man". At a mere three health, he survived an onslaught of cavaliers, for not one, not two, not three, but eight turns without getting killed. He actually distracted them so well that it allowed Klein to race up with Clarine, Klein to help with the boss and Clarine so she wouldn't die. I killed Tate's squad, and despite coming with the Devil Axe, it never backfired on me once. I was really lucky this chapter. Here are my unit's stats.

Chapter 18S (2/147): Pretty easy actually. Saul got dropped on a hut on Turn 1 by Allen, surviving some stuff (1 HP, living on a prayer), and then Rescued Roy down on Turn 2. Allen got Speed on EP which meant he could quad the boss with the Brave Lance, otherwise I could’ve gone for a Killing Edge hit + crit.

Chapter 19S (5/152): Roy, Allen, Zeiss, Shin, and Saul went up the right. Turn 1 Lalum danced Allen holding Saul ahead and he dropped forward. Allen and Shin Brave’d the wall down on Turn 3 and Saul Rescued Zeiss so he could fight the central enemies on EP. Zeiss got given Roy on Turn 4 and dropped him near the throne, enough enemies were dead there was no real threat to either of them, since everyone but a single Trooper targeted Zeiss anyways. He killer crit the boss on Turn 5 at 41% hit, 26% crit. Pretty bad, but it took very little time to get, so that's nice. Everyone else was focused on stealing the Elixir from the Trooper near the start and getting some easy kills.

Chapter 20S (5/157): Thank god for Saul. He opens up by Silencing the Berserk dude on the right, then Silences the Bolting guys so they don’t cause problems, RIP Silence staff I guess. Not that I should need it for anything else. Allen, Shin, Marcus, and Zeiss charged through the treasure room on the right, with Allen dropping Roy off on a pillar on turn 4 just right of the boss. Bosskill was x2 Armorslayer from Allen + 1 hit from Zeiss with pretty much anything (he was left with 4 HP). Chad, Marcus, and Shin fully looted the treasure room. Deployed Sue to recruit Dayan.

Each costs 4,000 gold with the Silver Card. Hoarding money for boots is pretty important to make the last few maps zoom by. Every boot is +2 move to a unit after all, and who doesn't love having a 14/15 move army just zoom around the map doing things super fast?

Chapter 20Sx (Free/157): Wanted to train more but this map is dumb and Roy seized the first throne I checked. I still got about 12 turns of training in though, some good levels, and killed all the Druid bosses at least. Saul is almost to S staves and will probably hit it with all the staffing he’s likely to do. He doesn't need S until whatever the final turn of Ch 23 ends up being, so here's hoping? Marcus is almost to S Axes. I’ll keep a save back here in case I need to redo it for WExp on like Saul or something.

Chapter 21 (6/163): Zeiss picks up Saul Turn 1, gets Danced to the Knight Crest village, and convoys it. Yodel took it out and sold it, along with his own sellable goods. Marcus goes east to fight things for Axe WEXP and hits S. Turn 2, Zeiss drops Saul so on Turn 3, he can Rescue Allen (given Roy by Shin) down, and he charges straight for Murdock, dropping Roy just below the leftmost Knight on Turn 5 and Cantoing in front of Murdock. They hit B support at the start of the map, so Allen has an extremely reliable 3HKO at 86% displayed hit with the Armorslayer and faces like 10% hit in return.

Also, I have a lot of money after selling all the extra stuff I had. 134,001G to be exact. After the Knight Crest and Members Card get sold, I have 141,001G. With it, Zeiss buys:

31 Boots
1 Speedwing
2 Energy Rings
3 Purge tomes

Chad was worth it. The Speedwing is for Marcus, who just hit S axes. An Energy Ring is for Saul to hit his Mag cap (though he might not need it?) for Rescue range and Purging things. The other Energy Ring? A mystery. For now.

Everybody used whatever boosters they could before Roy seized on Turn 6.

Chapter 21x (5/168): Zeiss flew up with Saul and he Rescued Allen holding Roy on Turn 4. I opted for this over just a Zeiss ferry to make the bosskill and Roy’s survival less dumb. Everyone used lots of BOOTS.

Chapter 22 (5/173): Didn’t have the manpower to make a 4 turn, I don’t think. I tried it a couple times but it just kinda didn’t work out, maybe if I hadn’t used Rescue last map. OH WELL

Saul, Zeiss, Shin, Marcus, and Lalum went on the left. Roy, Allen, Fir on the right. Fae and Dorothy were there too, to collect some treasure.  Roy and Fir pretty much took the charge towards the throne room all by themselves, with Allen going off to hit the switch. Roy opened the door on Turn 4 and Fir walked inside and sat on some stairs. Saul slept one of the Manaketes so it doesn’t murderize Fir, and on Turn 5, Physic’d her so she could do this;

That’s 18x2 damage, so a crit + hit brings an end to Zephiel. This is why I bought an Energy Ring for a MYSTERY PERSON. Last pick mattered!

Saul hit S Light and S Staves just in time for Chapter 23.

Chapter 23 (3/176): Yep. Ran forward and had Saul heal off all the status on Turn 3. Allen ORKO’d Brunya with the Durandal.

Chapter 24 (8/184): Ran forward and tried to not die horribly. Marcus had just barely enough bulk after the Dracoshield from Zephiel’s map (amazingly clutch) to be 3HKO’d by the non-boss Manaketes, it was great. Saul got the honor of killing Jahn because Allen was a doofus and missed twice. Used my last 4 Rescues. Somehow didn't break the Saint Staff.

Endgame (1/185): Roy couldn’t ORKO because he’s too SLOW. No problem, he can do with a Dance an-

Chapter 11B 14/140

Marcus and Roy went north, while everyone else went South. The guide I'm using said Bartre would come out at turn 8, which is BS since he came out at turn 10 for me. That or I'm really bad at keeping track of turns. Got Lilina some levels, got Gonzo a level, and dancer dude got Strength in his level which is hilarious.

Chapter 12 13/153

Gave Roy the Dracoshield that I had been holding on to, and Ellen got the Energy Ring so she could have better magic since she seems to have been magic screwed for me. My right squad consisted of Bartre, who mainly just got sleeped, Lilina, because I wanted some more levels on her and the exp on this side was basically uncontested. Merlinus for the three chests, and Elphin for dancing. Merlinus would use a door key, and then get the gem, the bow, and the promotion item, which I would either sell or give to Klein. Elphin went over here since there was less crampage, so he was more manuverable. Roy got some levels, since I dropped him and ran back to Ellen with Marcus (He's kinda falling off at this point but he's also my only cav and he has amazing weapon levels.) Recruited Raigh with Chad, he didn't do anything else, aside from dodge eclipse a few times, which is unavoidable. I run into the issue of either promoting Ellen later, or Raigh later, but I'll come to that problem after chapter 14. Promoted Lilina at the end, since she had capped magic so I figured why not. I had this time because of bad placement on my part, since I keep forgetting that thrones have a movement cost.

Chapter 12x 9/162

I could've done this in eight, but I wanted a fresh chest key and the white gem. So Roy sat around for one turn, and Marcus ran to get that chest. Spammed torch with Ellen, and I realize that I never actually bought a Flux tome for Raigh, so he's stuck with Nosfuratu for a bit. Didn't deploy him, and instead got Lilina some more levels. Also Gonzo, who I'm pretty sure hasn't leveled Strength. I'm so close to B-staves, when I finally have access to Physic, which is barely better with Ellen's 6 magic but it's something damnit. I wish I had drafted a thief, but there are enough chest keys for me to get what I want.

Chapter 13 12/174

Went on a huge buying spree, probably a bad idea, don't really care. Bartre and Lilina handled the bottom part while I sent everyone else up to try and recruit Percival. That didn't pan out, since he ran away after being hit once by Dieke so that was pretty much a waste. Got some great levels, and the Body Ring out of it, so I'll say it was good in the end. Not sure who I should use it on yet. Probably Raigh, since Dark Magic is pretty heavy, although Marcus with the Body Ring wouldn't get weighted down by Steel Lances, so it's a bit of a toss up.

Chapter 14 15/191

Not having any fliers is really coming to bite me in the ass. I dragged Sophia across the desert, along with Roy, while I got the items with other people. I was around for so long that Dieke went off the kill all of the bandit reinforcements, which he did. Got the Guiding Ring, along with everything but the Speedwing, which I thought I got but at the very end I realized I didn't, but at that point three hours had passed of me trying to get a strategy down and I really wasn't in the mood to do it all again. Raigh got some good experience. Dark magic is heavy, so I gave the Body Ring to Raigh.

Chapter 14x 7/198

Gave the boots to Lilina because favoritism. Raigh got the Guiding Ring and the Tailisman. Pretty simple rush to the throne otherwise. Klein almost died due to him getting trapped on water, but that was fine in the end.

Chapter 15 12/210

Ran Roy up, Elphin got Percival, Lilina grabbed Garret. Visited both villages, got the free gold, killed all the enemies, and seized in a timely fashion.
