Ok, so how a match generally works (yes you have a best of 3 for matches and best of 5 for finals). the two players will do something either rock/paper/scissors, flipping a coin or something like it to see who strikes a starter stage first (we have methods on discord too). The winner of the game strikes one stage of their choice. After this, the loser of the random game strikes two stages, then the winner strikes one last stage. The one remaining stage is used as the first stage for the set. So they effectively choose the starter from the 2 remaining stages The counterpick stages aren't used until after the first match, where in the person who won gets to strike two stages of their choosing before the loser picks what stage to go to, the pool of stages is the entire set at that point. You are also allowed to gentleman to a stage if you and your opponent agree to it, and in that case any stage may be chosen if you two agree on it. Friday/Saturday is when I’d like a bulk of these to get done but I’m flexible. Can try to do some early if you’d like. Also the extra matches are just an unfortunate result of our odd number.
