Do you gamble?

I did once.

I was with my grandfather on a cruise ship, he gave me $40 to play with.

I won $80 playing black jack

I then lost it all because I was unknowingly counting cards and didn't realize they shuffled 5 decks together to prevent that.

I then lost all the extra cash I brought with me. I think I may have a little or with gambling.

I gamble...

... in Fallout New Vegas...

... but always with a luck stat of 7 or higher so that I can actually win.

In real life, I've never gambled in my life.

Make it a habit not to gamble under any types of gambling establishments, whether they be physical casinos or websites.  House edge is a major deterring factor.

That being said, gambling is not bad so long as you're ensuring that the money you're dumping into the vice is money you set aside for recreation purposes only.  Basic budgeting plays a key role in responsible gambling; don't use money you'd need for important expenses or debts.  And I'd also say don't use all of your recreation money, either, because you might need some of it for later in case of emergencies.

I might be willing to play low stakes games of poker and other such games of chance with friends, but that's about it.

If gacha counts, then yeah, I play FEH.

If not, then yeah, I'll occassionally put a quid on the football, or Eurovision - when it's on. Think the most I've won was £25.

If the Gme Corner in older Pokémon games counts, then yes!
On rare occasions anyway.

Although, my mum and sister play card games with my sister's kids, teaching them the fundamentals of some games that might be played in a casino (for literal 1p and 2p coins set aside for them to play with) and I occasionally joke that they should all raid a casino together.

Outside of those cases, I wouldn't say I'm around much gambling very much.

I sometimes bet at the horses for Melbourne Cup Day, which is something many Australians do. Many offices (including mine) give staff an opportunity to enter $5-10 in. I occasionally put in $15-20 total to the betting agencies for tickets. Of course, I rarely make a profit when the bookkeeper takes home half the total proceeds lol.

Yeah, I gamble sometimes, it's one of my hobbies but I'm definetely not an unhealthy addict to this :): I'm just a competitive person in general and I like different games so for me it's just fun and pleasure. It's cool when I win some money (I was lucky several times) but I'm not sad at all when I lose, winning money isn't my main goal in playing. And in case of gambling I like casino, sports bettings and poker the most of all, I play really often the last one with my friends and it's a great fun. And I'm a huge fan of football as also some teams like my favourite Atletico PR from Brazil https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazil_national_football_team so I adore to make bets https://bet365-pt.com/ on it during matches. But I always control my money investing in gambling, that's why I've never lost too much money like that happens with some people.

Well, I do spend money in FEH (though rarely). It still feels like gambling when you have not even spent money and just saved some orb stockpile over the month.

Then again, it may as well just be considered borderline under the law.

Aside from that, while I am of age (almost barely), I do not intend to. I really want to go to Vegas to try out the Heart Attack Grill.

Just got back from a trip to vegas and I did some casual 21. Didn't go so well. My luck was good, the dealer's was better. I lost every hand consecutively until I ran out of chips by exactly 1, even the dealer felt sorry for me. Especially on the hand where she drew three cards and turned her 3 into a 21. C'mon.

The one time I pumped some money into Heroes went just as poorly. Though in the future I'd much sooner spend some money at the card table than on Heroes. There's no rules or strategy when it comes to summoning, and the amount of orbs I get as a F2P has always sufficed for what I want to accomplish in the game. Plus my luck summoning with F2P orbs has been pretty stellar, at least in my singular perspective.

Not really, no.  Anyway I look at it, it’s just pissing money away. Don’t get the appeal. (I’ll throw like $15 into a prize pool for a Magic: The Gathering draft. That’s about it.)

Every now and then. I'm very careful and conservative with my money, so my body kinda forces me out when it starts getting into critical territory. Have struck big a couple of times though, so that's nice I guess.

@~ Yuri ~May I point out the hilarious irony to your avatar? :P

Anyways, I don't do so with real money, but I went to an event where I gambled tokens through playing Blackjack. I did really good in that session.

I've played the Powerball a few times for fun and I've been to a casino but I didn't win. It was a nice experience. Doubt I'd want to gamble anymore though.

I dislike hearing no follow up stories on the people who win the jackpot. I think people need to know what happens after you win. Some people don't realize winning millions of dollars usually ends up with you being miserable shortly after. I've read a few stories of jackpot winners ending up assassinated

Oh yeah, I forgot. My mom plays the lottery, too.
