Also, I still think this would have been fine without her. Keep in mind the highest ranking character for CYL 3 that's in the banner's a TT unit. I'm pretty sure this backfired hard, I actually expect this would have been fine without Fjorm honestly (whether the banner would have been better without that staff is another question., maybe Marcia could have been a TT unit sword flier and Sigrun took a staff? Or do Seraph Knights not use staves?).

Gjallarbru's Isolation effect is literally the exact effect this game needed as the counter-balance for Legendary Azura (specifically, it's neither over-tuned nor under-tuned for the job). I think I've even posted something similar in one of the "make a skill" threads.

We didn't need Fjorm to be the one to have it, but the staff is going to be the bread-winner for this banner. (The fact that it's on best kouhai is icing on the cake.)

at first i thought that they had a bride camilla ready for the banner, but the """recent""" hate for camilla made them give up on her and made this bride fjorm pretty much as a last minute addition, and i found this idea to be pretty funny

Tanith... I have no words for how much I love this. One of my favorite characters EVER, who I thought would never make it in because she is criminally underrated... and yet she is here!

Yep that's the only explanation. This alt was made for ME specifically and no one else.

But I admit I was wrong. I repeated time and again that there was no wedding going on in Askr. That it was just a silly festival. Turns out they were actually preparing for a wedding. The one between the summoner and the beautiful Pegasus General of Begnion. :D

But seriously now, WTF? What kind of choices are those? I was saying yesterday that sometimes IS makes irrational and random decisions. This is one of them. And it was certainly a very random decision to make a unit just to make my day and the day of the like 3 others who fantasize about marrying Tanith.

LOL I just noticed that she provides the powercrept version of " HARSH" command. That's mean! Tanith isn't harsh, she's an angel! She is just very serious about her duty and has a tendency of getting misunderstood because she is blunt.

 

 

One last thing, my dear man Pent. You know what will happen to your wife if you dare pitybreak me...

This is not a complaint about Isolation. I'm already on board with more ways to use it, just gotta see that when it happens. Definitely a gameplay temptation.

This was just me wondering was there a plausible way to add it without Fjorm.

Also, IS made the wrong move by not adding Groomfonse at the same time as Fjide. Damm shame.

They did screw up a little bit with Sigrun and Tanith. Tanith looks really pretty, and Sigrun a bit manly. Surely it should have been the other way around.

I don't know why Fjorm gets two alts, but she looks utterly adorable and I always thought her crush in Kiran was sweet/ funny, so I'm fine with it. Sigrun and Tanith are neat for the continuity with Sanaki and it's great to finally have a canon couple here at the same time (Pent/ Louise). I wonder what this does for the latter's CYL chances (looks at Mangs).

While I'm tempted to get Fjorm (both for herself and her staff/C Skill), I confess my biggest hope for this update is either Louise having Odd Atk Wave or it being a Seal in the next TT, though I'd love an Even Spd Wave as a Seal too.

Then again, since we've only gotten Even Seals so far with a few months in between, just got Even Atk Wave on Delthea and still don't have a Spd Tactic Seal, I won't get my hopes up.

Still looking forward to the update though! Swift Sparrow weapons look like they'll be quite fun (and now it's Siegbert's turn to be outclassed by a Seasonal unit - 3/4 of them this time!)

I actually like Sigruns art, I often find female builds in fire emblem too soft. I didn't like Hinokas hotspring art for example, she looked too meager for a "Warrior Princess". At least I think its nice if its somehow visible that they are trained. They don't need to look all like Rinkah, but a little definition here and there would be nice..

Pikomaro has some solid arts, well Lloyd can be discussed. Because I think as good as the art overall looks it did not quite hit him how he is. Even if I like Sigrun this can be considered too..

Matsun! (Tanith) seems to be new here. Maybe they could have traded. But overall I find Sigrun ok, Tanith could have been adjusted. I like her in the Tellius games more her face has been changed a bit too much here.

That's overall a thing some artist may struggle, in translating a character to your own style without taking their unique aspects...at least that is what I think. Both of these Illustrators are a good example here.

PENT AND LOUSE! SIGRUN AND TANITH! THIS BANNER IS CRAZY MAN!

I'll probably save my orbs and skip this banner after I free summon for either Sigrun or Pent because I'm still trying to recover orbs for Jill and Patty, but this banner is a pleasant surprise. If anything, it weirdly balances out the Darkness Within banner being almost entirely alts

Armor Emblem has been nerf, since when?

since the introduction of more Armor effectiv weapon (daggers or unique ones) null follow up and Alm. As in: its an indirect nerf but Armors have become way less effectiv as supertanks in AR and Arena. At least thats what i am seeing in Defense wins

Huh, Fjorm looks like a good offensive staffer (based on her skills/weapon, anyway.) Real team player, too. It's neat that she can isolate opposing units. That could make for some interesting gameplay. I like Sigrun's skills, too. That Harsh Command+ and the Flyer Orders are awesome! I'd like them all someday, but going to have to skip since I'm still trying to summon Fallen Berkut and have next to no orbs (currently I only have 10.) Speaking of which, Bride Rinea would've just been all of the feels, especially right after Fallen Berkut's release. Not complaining, though. Still only one groom this year, but he's summonable, so that bodes well for next year.

Edit: I never cared too much for Sigrun in her home games, but I do want this one. Also, Pent's weapon animation is hilarious and I want to give it to Shinon someday if he gets a tome alt (but I'll be equally happy with a dagger alt so I can give him Halloween Kagero's weapon, even though it's just juice.)

...What is to be expected? There is little time for pregnancy once Gen 1 is over. You need the 2nd Gen because the 1st ceases to exist, the 2nd wouldn't have fought if the 1st Gen still could have. This isn't true of Awakening or Fates, where the 2nd Gen was never needed barring Lucina.

Although to be fair, you have some time between Chapters 1 and 2 starting, not sure how much. Six months pass between Chapters 2 and 3, and Sigurd's crew seems to have spent about a year in Silesse, mostly in peace but including the civil war, before they went off to fight the final battle in Grannvale. 

Tailtiu I know was pregnant when Gen 1 ended. Silvia's second child Caipre might not have been in the womb yet when Gen 1 ended, or if he was it was before she could tell. Her Alec Chapter 5 conversation speaks of no pregnancy and only Lene, Cairpre is likely the youngest Gen 2 unit as well. Given the year in Silesse, it's possible Ethlyn had Leif inside her while never having been on the battlefield during that time. Ayra would only have been pregnant once, since Larcei and Ulster are twins.

In addition, Kaga once explicitly stated that what you see on the map in FE4 isn't what actually is. There are many "invisible" grunts fighting alongside you and against you, FE4 as Holy Sword Elm Kaiser was going to originally have the squads idea Three Houses is now reviving. With this in mind, you could I guess canonically see each female as not doing as much battle as they would if things were smaller, like Part 4 RD and Ena or Louise in FE7, where what you see is largely what actually is.

-Not wholly excusing things, just providing some context and counterargument because I tend to like to balance things.

The "Gen 2" part applied to all three of those listed games. Since whilst it cannot be argued that Fates is not the best represented, its 2nd Gen isn't so well covered, and I was being kind towards it.

As for Groom Sephiran, the most likely outcome I could see is you now having to respond to Interdimensional and to Observer, maintaining internal unity of existential being would be difficult in such a scenario.

The problem is FEH is slow to add new characters and has only so many slots per month for so many loved and deserving games.

Furthermore, I'm a Tellius fan, but I don't want it getting flak for favoritism. Tellius had been in need of new additions for quite some time, but after Gallia, I think it was time to stop it for a while (at least a few months) and this Bridal is crossing the line.

So I will likely be going free pull on Blue to try to get Pent because I'd like him or Harsh Command+ for my AR Def team~ None of the characters offer anything else I really need. AR Spd-Def seems like it would be useful but I certainly wouldn't pull of my own free volition for it, same for Ground Orders, which I'm sure will be put on other units later on~

What I wonder is how isolation stops dancing. Status debuffs go away after you end your unit’s action, so how’s it going to stop you from being danced if your move’s already over before dancing can even be used?

Isolate the dancer instead of the dancer's target.

Edit:  Also, at some point we can probably expect a staff that inflicts it after combat, like most other status effects.  That would work well on a defensive healer that could be used to bait potential dance targets.  Not relevant to this banner though, since it doesn't exist yet.
